i use psynergy to heal, and to double up damage on multiple weak enemies.
beyond that, it's just the stat augmentations, like high impact

caz401 Summon rushing can be fun, the hard part is trying to survive for adequitte time after that to let your party recover their stats or at least their healing and revive powers. Usually leave on Djnn on each person, granite, mars, lull, balm (reviver i think) to help That's why I tend to leave plenty of Djinn set on the group healers (Mia & Jenna), when I'm using summon rushing. I figure it's worth missing out on a few extra summons in order to survive.

I can't say I didn't summon rush for ALL the bosses, however for the really tough ones I didn't. Made those fights alot harder, and funnier. Ah poor Dully... got owned by all those regular... err... awsome weapons and psynergy. I think I had everyone have a form of mass heal on the party...

I summon rush sometimes. I only do it when I am fighting a boss that I can defeat with only a few summons. Get the short ones over with, I say. Of course I use summons when fighing harder bosses, but I don't rush. As has been said before, summoning leaves the characters vulnerable to the attacks afterward.

I do summon rushing, but only a ways into the game, when each of the characters has at least five djinn each. I aways keep a main healer who has multiple character heals (Mia and Jenna) and any revive djinni I have not on standby in case of emergencies.
Out of curiosity, what is everyone's favorite summoning? I have a few: Megaera, Charon, Judgment, Catastrophe and Iris. They just look so cool!

Hm. I never used a single summon in the last fight. (Or most fights, to be honest.)
I only use summon on weak bosses that I can afford to have djinns on standby. I never risk having them wipe me out when the party has low stats, (Especially Ivan and Sheba with their ridiculously low HP)
Of course if I had the cool summons like Iris and Charon, I'd be summoning like crazy...
I think to beat Doom Dragon, all I did was make Isaac use the Sol Blade on him each turn, while everyone did power-ups and healing. Especially since the Doom Dragon liked to use the Djinn Storm and Cruel Ruin right afterwards. neutral
But I used to summon rush allll the time in GS, since I got my party a bit too powerful, so I just had a breeze through it all.

I can't remember if I replied to this before x3 And I can't be bothered to check.
I used to, untill I realised that it weakened your characters HP-wise. Yes, it's true, I didn't read any of the djinni explanation stuff xD I still do occasionaly, because I like the awesome pixel art =3
And now I'm going to go, because the new Gaia layout kills my computer x.x

I bet the second game for my first and second time at hard mode. I didnt complete it fully though, and Dulahan doesnt exactly sound familiar to me..
I remember beating the last boss though. It was ******** hard. I wouldnt have made it if I kept on summoning.
Sometimes summoning means your dead, so I use it strategically. I summon when I can, I dont summon when Itd be better not to.

Nah I don't play like that. I just find summon rushing boring. Yes some of the summons look cool, but overall it isn't as fun beating the crap out of the bosses.

only ever summon rushed to beat dullahan so I could get the best summon, then I only used it at the final boss when the doom dragon killed my first party with a djinni storm cruel ruin combo

I don't summon rush, since it tends to kill the boss without letting me Djinn-kill it. I want the extra XP and Coins... So each time I come across a non-repeating boss, I pull out my trusty calculator and Boss FAQ. I check the HP for the boss, plug it into the calc, then go on killing it via psynergy and stuffs. Right before it dies, unleash a djinni it's weak to and viola, extra exclusive XP and cash.
