Personally a sabre is my weapon of choice and epee always beats a rapier

Well, my weapon of choice is a Katana and Wakizashi, but a bo is a close second choice. And for swift tactical moves, a spear is my best friend. Especialy since I covered it in black electrical tape, now it's perfict for ninjitsu! And, epee, is just the fencing term for the historical rapier. Or the french word for sword. Eather way it's not gurentted to beat itself. Or a rapier, depending on which of those to you mean. But the swift motions of a rapier are useful against an unarmored opponent. Problem is that against armor, it has quite a time piercing. BAH! I say. At any rate. I could write more, but my girlfriend's coming over, so I want to get around to the other threads too.

True but most rapiers or foils are training weapons. Im not so big on eastern weapons. Meh im bord!

Dude, the rapier is your typical dulest's sword. Ideal for fast unarmoured combat, and quick thrusting motions. The epee is the modern training version. Foils are the same, just weaker. But a Katana could take a rapier any day. Same with a longsword, or really, anyone with a longer blade.

Depends more the style than the weapon as my dad says conan would get his a** whipped by anyone who could keep moving and hitting him with quick hits. Epee hurts your arm im glad i switch to sabre much more my style.

You have a point. But, swords all have advantages and disadvantages. Conan isn't as good as he acts like. For true fantasy power, you want' Drizzt Do'urden. totaly the man...

Pity. You should read them. Look into the Dark Elf trilogy by R.A. Salvatore, then read the next 18 books in the series.

Yeah, I looove reading, but I haven't been doing much of it at all since I moved to college and back...I didn't have the money to buy books. Now I can... xd but, that also requires effort... stressed lol

Did I say eighteen? I meant eighteen hundred... yeah, it's a long series, but the characters rock. And Brunor's the funniest. And I'll even admit to having cried after the deaths of certian characters...
