His eyes were still looking intently at the crow. "That's good, children these days hardly ever listen to their parents. It's good to see one that does. That, and it's just a wise thing to do, nothing can be trusted like a weapon can." he said cheerfully.

"I always do as my father asks." Chiaki said, nodding her head enthuastically. It was something she took pride in, being a good child. But it was also something that the other kids often made fun of. She also thought that it was wise to carry her weapon with her all the time.. To defend herself from any kind of threat.

"Is your father a ninja? Most people who try and become gennin have had parents or relatives that were ninja at one time. You do look like someone I know, but I can't put my finger on who." He said as looked in the trees for more birds.

Chiaki nodded her head again. "Yes, my father is a ninja." she answered. "But I hardly look like him, I look more like my mother." she said, "Excepet for this eye." she pointed to her one blue eye that had come from her father.

"Fujiwara Sarutobi." Chiaki said to the man. "You might have known my mother, she was a ninja too, but.. She passed away.." She kind of mumbled the last part. Chiaki lost her mother when she was just a little girl, and she got pretty depressed when she thought about it.
Of course, she loved her mother, and wanted to think about her and remember her always, but it was still upsetting to know that she was gone.
"You might have known her, since you say I look like someone you knew.."

Chiaki smiled. She was young when her mother passed on, and hardly knew anything about her as a ninja; she was just mom to her. It made her happy to hear other people beside her father speak highly of her mother.
"She passed away... just about ten years ago now." Chiaki said in that gentle voice of hers. She didn't know why she told him that, he was a complete stranger to her. Maybe because he had known her.. They would have been collegues, maybe not good friends, but she wanted him to know. "She was sick. But its alright, she's in a better place now." Chiaki looked up at the sky and sighed lightly.

He nodded in silence. Just then, more birds had swooped down and landed around them. They started eating the seed Yama had spread out earlier. He picked one up in his hand and started to pet it.

Chiaki looked around at the flock of birds that had gathered. "I like birds," She said, trying to move on to a more cheery topic. She knelt down to pet one of the birds and smiled. She was good with animals, while birds usually scatter when someone came near, she was always able to get a little closer than others. Even pet the sometimes like she was now.

"Weeh!" Miso screamed as she rode up top on Kenta's shoulders. The view was amazing considering her usual height. She raised her arms in the air and closed her eyes and inhailed the sent of the canyon breeze as they roamed through the town. However, Miso still kept an eye out for the other teammate they were missing. She spotted something odd and pointed towards it. "Kenta lookie! There's a weird man with lots of birds! How cool!"
Poemi on the other hand was just comming out of a shop when the tall boy nearly ran her over, obviously not seeing her. "That was odd......" By she looked in the direction the two ran. "Woah! A bird man!" Poemi began to sprint over to the odd person.

Kenta was suddenly hit by a bout of curiousity, and made his way over to the bird man with Miso still on his shoulders. Naturally the birds scattered, startled by the two. Kenta watched, a bit in awe, as the flock flew up for a little bit, then settled a bit farther away. "Wow, are you friends with all those birds?" He looked to Confuseus, wonder in his eye. He could tell there was some kind of connection, he just couldn't figure the manner of it.
In the meantime, Poemi caught up with the two, breathing just a little heavy from the run. "Aww, you scared them away! I hope they come back."

She was ready. She was prepaired for the Genin exams as she had missed the last one due to certain circomstances. She would pass then make her mark as a junior level ninja, before working her way up to journeyman level, before accomplishing the rank of elite. Electra inwardly smiled as she moved several scrolls off her lap before slidding off her bed and standing for a well needed and deserved stretch.
'Mother...Father... I will make you proud.' She inwardly promised as her eyes lingured on a mask she had designed so that when she was able to enter the ranks of Anbu she would be ready.
"I will grow strong..." She whispered as she dropped the wards around her home.

"It seems I've drawn a crowd again." He said as he watched his birds scatter, besides the one he had in his hand. He looked at the group who surrounded him, "Well, this saves me some time. Such a coincidence." He set the bird he had on his shoulder.

Electra hurriedly tidied her small flat before cleaning herself aswell. Once she was refreshed and fed, she silently exited her home, securly locking it behind her. She inwardly sighed. A thought had struck her. Once she passed the inevitable genin exams, she would be placed on a three-man cell.
She knew her team work skills were rusty as she prefered not to trouble anyone by asking for aid, nor did she feel compelled to give it to those who had not gained her trust. She would just have to wing it and go out on a limb. Hoping that she would be able to assist her teammates enough to allow them to progess to the next level.
Things were slowly becoming more contemplated, she tucked her keys away and leapt out the nearest window landing soundlessly on the ground, her bandaged eyes unseeing.
