Koji gave a slight glare at Kaia but bent down and began to slowly eat the rabbit. He took his time cause he really had to chew at it. He couldn't just rip pieces off for he didnt have the strength. "Yeah Yeah dear." He told her playfully.

"So.." Kaia started off as Koji took his time eating the rabbit, but suddenly coming to a stop in her words. How were you supposed to talk about the kids you hadn't bothered to see in so long? Well, there probably wasn't an exactly right way to go about it. "S-so how are Shinya and Higure doing? You said that both of them found mates and went off on their own?" The idea of her babies finding lovers and being off on their own without family around was scary to their mother. Extremely scary.
Or maybe it was just her seeing it this way, being a mother.

Koji swallowed the little piece of meat he had in his mouth before answering. "I don't know if Shinya has found one but she did go off to explore and find more friends about a month ago. Higure was courting that one vixen before you left and it seems he managed to pull it off." Koji spoke softly. "What of Kupe and Chop?"He asked a little sadly.

"She did, did she? That's.. good. And Higure managed to get himself a girl?" Kaia said with a small smile, confused as how to reply. "Amazing." She said simply, silver-gray eyes flicking down to look at her front paws before rising up to look over at Koji. She was conflicted about how to feel about the entire situation: her children growing up. Delighted? Sad? Worried? Happy? With a soft sigh she reached over, leaning against Koji's side gently and resting her head over his back.
"Kupe was doing well, last I bumped into him. Our boy was off exploring and traveling like his mother." She explained, giving a half-hearted chuckle. "Chop was doing the same thing too, if I remember right." Then, all at once, Kaia nuzzled her face into her mate's ruff, hiding her face and letting her body go limp in defeat. "I can't believe they've grown.." She weaved her tail around his, giving it a light squeeze.
She wasn't about to let him see her eyes right now, tears threatening to dribble down and along her cheeks.

Koji wrapped his tail around hers. "I see. So our kids are grown up and scattered to the wind. Who would have thought this day would come?" He asked quietly. He felt odd and old now that he thought of it. It seemed like decades ago he was meeting her and her family. Became her mate and they themselves had a family.

"..M-..mhm..." Kaia mumbled out with a slight nod of her head, moving her head away from it's hiding spot in his fur to rest on top of his back once more. She felt kind of.. old. But they weren't that old yet, were they? Sure, she had aged a little when she had gone and found Koji and they had eventually formed their little family, but the vixen still felt plenty young. Blinking back her forming tears, she let out a sigh. "I know I didn't." She replied to his last sentence, giving a small, weary chuckle.
Then, slowly, she began to contemplate something...

Koji rubbed himself against Kaia trying to make up for the lost feeling he had from her being gone. "What are you thinking love? I know you are thinking something." He kissed her cheek. He pulled her supper close to him cause he just couldnt let go. He felt so lost with out her and incomplete. He hated it.

"Well, I was thinking about.." Kaia began to tell him before giving a light blush, a small pout forming on her face. It was sort of a silly idea on her part, and he probably wasn't feeling up to any of it, and.. and... She let out a sigh and turned her pout around into a smile. "Knowing you, you probably won't let me go without tellin' you, hm?" Her tail gave a slow sway as he pulled her in close, the female sighing into his fur, the blush still remaining on her face. "What do you think about more kits?" She mumbled, burying her face into his chest to hide herself.
How embarrassing was that?

Koji grinned as he watched her get all bashful. "Your right i wont let you go till you tell me." He spoke teasingly. He laid his head on her while he listened to their hears beat together. She wanted more kits. "We can do that if you want love." He kissed her than.

Kaia couldn't help it: her heart fluttered at the thought of more children. Even more so when her mate said that it was fine on his part. "Really, dear?" The vixen said with a small smile forming, blush still over her cheeks as she moved out from under his chin and looked at him. "We can?" Her tail began to wag back and forth in her delight.
No, no. Koji would never lie to her, he just wasn't that kind of fox. He wasn't about to lie to her about anything. He really meant it!
Letting out a small squeal excitedly, she backed herself away from him a step or two before pouncing onto him. Tears in her eyes fading away quickly and now forgotten, she giggled softly into his fur.

Koji watched her become excited and smiled. He had missed seeing her like this or at all. He would do anything to make her happy. "Yes love we can."He told her just before she pounced him and they fell backwards. He hit the ground and tried to bite back a moan of pain. He was still hurt and for sure not up to speed but he didn't want her to hear that. For it would take away her excitement.

Oh, don't think Kaia didn't notice that held in little cry of pain.
"Ah! Sorry, sorry.." She said as she pulled herself back from him, just a bit, looking him over to see if she had hurt her mate. 'No other injuries? That's good. Thank goodness the ground is only, like.. dirt. Not stone or anything like that.' Reaching over, Kaia gave him a light nuzzle on the cheek before moving off of him and lying down. "You should get some rest before anything else, really." She gave him a smile, flicking her tail to and fro as she laid her head down onto her paws. "Go ahead and sleep some, I'll keep an eye out for anything."

Koji grumbled and pulled on her bringing her closer. "And where do you think you are going hmm?" He asked her playfully. He patted the ground next to him and laid his head down watching her.
Yeah he was still totally in love with her just like he was when they first meet. He really didn't think that would ever change.

Kaia let out a soft 'Meep!' as she was pulled in close to him, the sound cut short by the laugh she gave. "Okay, okay. I'll stick close to you." She said, rumbling quietly and giving him a lick on the muzzle. "You need to get some rest, though. I want you to get better, alright?"
Crossing one front paw over the other, she looked at him with a playful and stern look, near motherly. "Get some rest, please, dear?"

"Alright...alright I'll sleep if you stay close,"Koji said closing his eyes as he grumbled out his semi-demand. He kissed her back and watched her threw a half closed eye.
