Hiro flew down and landed in the middle of the street he needed to find someone to talk to and find his way around Barton town.

Arannis stood slowly, turning away and taking a couple steps before turning back.
"Ryn, I can't be certain of anyone else, but you've earned my respect... and, to some limited extent, my thanks."
He continued away in silence.

Hiro looked at the person walking away and walked over saying "Hello Im new here can you show me around and maybe even tell the history of this place?"

"Gladly."
Arannis showed Hiro around some, coming to a sudden stop at an open field with a lone gravestone at its center, at the very heart of the city.
"Before I tell you anything of Barton's history... might I ask your name?"

"My name is Hiro Roshin." he says looking at the gravestone. "I will answer any questions that you want to know."

"No, Hiro... if anyone owes anyone else answers, that man is me."
He looked to the solitary grave, and sighed.
"Nearly 2 millenia ago, the home of my closest friend fell into ruin, and she alone survived. Only perhaps 50 years later, my own homeworld fell to a force led by none other than my own brother. I, alone... survived that second fall. I am the last of my kind. Granted, Eri - my friend from before this - remains alive still, even today, but she is not kin, per se. Regardless, the two of us found refuge in a nearby town, and during our 1500 year stay... we searched realms far outside of Gaia, looking for any hopeful friends, allies, that may aid us in an imminent struggle, which found its way to this very town... Two such struggles, and Barton fell into smoldering ruin twice through those fights. The grave you see there... belongs to one who knew both sides of this small-scale war."

Hiro looked at the grave and it reminded him of his own past as he said "Seems like me and you have the same story...." he kept looking at gravestone saying "I am the only one of my kind left after a powerful force destroyed everything including my poeple...I however was sent down to these realms and from their I have been since the dawn of time itself watching as beings came and go while I sat down...never dying and never able to love anything or even remember my own family." he looked at he grave.

Arannis sighed.
"What are you, then? I have known the life of many, firsthand... but not once have I known any being that stands the trials of all time."

He continued to look at Arannis as he said "I am many things...I have been called a God by humans however I am called an Ostangian. When I came to earth after my Planet was destroyed it was but plants and animals and I was but a babe...I had died when I had crashed into the place that would later be called Eden, however when I died i was reborn by the earth itself and given the power of mana a energy that runs through the earth itself and through me that allows me to do many things including change my form." He looked to the ground before looking back up and saying "I can still be killed by the blade or by a stronger opponent but time and diseases even poison does not effect me." he was completely serious as he said "I have seen the beings of this planet grow and become what they are even the heavens and hell itself come to be however I only was there to keep balance however...I did not like having to kill the good just to keep the balance."

Arannis backed away cautiously.
"I know how it is to be unable to live without a natural lifespan. Balance is not meant to be held, as it inevitably gives rise to conflict. As much as I would avoid it, if you stand against those that are reputably good, I will stand against you..."

Hiro looked to him and said "I gave that up milenia ago." he turned to face Arannis and said "The world is going to evil any how and as such I would be on the side of good if I kept going with it. I had decided to stay on the good side a long time ago back when I saw the war between Angels and Demons." his red eyes glew in the light of the day and his wings went into his back as he assumed a more human looking form.
