Wandering is always something PreToria liked to do. As such, it's the main reason why she left her village.
However she didn't expect to be attacked by people.
Her sword was drawn and she stared intently at her foe; a pirate. The man obviously was going to attack her, so she would obviously have to protect herself. It's her right.
"...! scream " Pre lowered her sword and raised her other hand. Blue magic flowed around her body and concentrated into the air before her hand. When the glow intensified, small flakes of ice flew at the pirate and hit him in the face. The man wasn't really hurt, but more like peeved.
"Prism won't work well on someone from the high seas," A voice spoke to Pre. It was her friend Fizz, who sometimes has an attitude.
"... eek " Pre backed away fearfully. The man looked dangerous.
"I think you should run now," Fizz told her.
" sweatdrop " Pre nodded quickly before turning around and running flat out, running past Saiya as she did.
(I hope using expressions for her is okay, since she can't speak)

"Please... Don't hate me..."Saiya was a simple-minded woman. That didn't mean she was stupid, it simply meant she focused very hard on a single task and poured everything into accomplishing it. At the moment, people were hurt all around her, suffering, bleeding from the attacks of the pirates. All of her attention was focused on assisting the injured, and so, when the mute girl trotted past her, Saiya paid her little mind. There was simply something far more pressing to deal with, like preventing the man she was healing from bleeding out and dying.

After being chased for a while, Pre was eventually cornered by the pissed off pirate.
"... gonk " Pre faced the guy, who had now brought out a fairly large falchion.
"HP or PP, which is it?" Fizz said to her.
"...! scream " Focusing her magic, Pre brought her hand forth and summoned a glacier. It came from the ground and engulfed the man in ice. Pre sighed in relief, until she realized that the man was trying to break through and was slowly succeeding. So she turned and ran again.
"Looks like there are injured people here," Fizz said to Pre, who nodded.
Pre didn't know what she should be doing. Glancing over her shoulder nervously, she went to one injured person and knelt down next to him, casting Pixie to heal him.

That fire adept was insane, throwing fireballs and pirates alike everywhere, thought one such raider. Deciding that becoming pirate flambé was not such a good idea, he turned and fled. Passing by a pirate incased in ice without even noticing, he dove down the first alley way he encountered. A little ways down he found a slim young girl seeming to tend to a wounded man. She was focused and didn't seem to see the pirate looming behind her, but an unusual little creature perched on her head spotted him at about the same time he saw it, and let out a sudden and shrill warning screech.

"...! scream " Pre heard her friend and wheeled around, drawing her katana and blocking the man's weapon. However she was still at a disadvantage. The man's weapon knocked her into the ground even as she parried the blow. She brought her free hand up to support the blade, "... gonk " She knew she wasn't going to survive if he kept attacking.

(Seeing as I joined up about a week ago and decided to actually post my character today...)
Leylia hopped off the boat and sauntered through the land. Lemuria, huh? The place where everyone stayed young for a really long time? Interesting. "Light!" she whistled, and her little Djinni Lightning hopped off the boat. "Lemuria... one of the only places I actually haven't been to..." Leylia looked at the city. It seemed nice. The sky was bright, with several clouds in the sky. Too bad Marcus can't see this...
She wandered a bit, until she heard the unmistakable clang of metal against metal. She climbed up and over a ledge- just beyond the city- to see a girl with huge wings being attacked by some idiot thug. Leylia could feel it; the girl was an Adept. Not the same alignment, but an Adept just the same. Better make her entrance pretty dramatic. Leylia focused, drawing on the power in the air... and then sent out a wide-bore razor-sharp knife of air. Slash. Poor guy didn't have a chance.

She detected energy like what she used, only at the same time not like what she used.

Leylia effortlessly hopped down the cliff until she stood about ten feet away from the girl. She leaned on her staff and grinned. "Hiya," she said. "I noticed you were in trouble, so I came to help." Lightning trilled. "Oh, I'm Leylia, and this is Lightning," she said somewhat affectionately, as Light leapt up onto her shoulder. "Who are you?" Any Adept she met was a good person, as far as she was concerned.

Pre's wings faded away and she climbed to her feet, dusting off her skirt. She looked at Leylia and smiled to her, nodding her thanks.
Fizz sat on Pre's head, looking pretty cozy, "I'm Fizz, and she's PreToria," He said and hopped on Pre's head.

Leylia nodded, analyzing the situation. "She can't speak?" she guessed. It didn't faze her in the slightest that the girl's wings faded. She'd seen really weird things.
Lightning settled on Leylia's shoulder. "Hello," she chirped.

"Yup," Fizz answered, "She's mute, but don't think she's not smart. She is an Adept after all."
"... wink " Pre smiled and offered her hand to her for a polite handshake.
