Most call me Chi for my previous Gaia name. Key is fine too. heart
My RPG knowledge is actually pretty limited, with most of the games I love coming out of Square Enix. You will never meet a bigger Kingdom Hearts fan then me. whee
I currently live in Japan. I'm sure it would be a great place if I were just visiting and not living here. Don't call yourself a gaijin or an otaku or I'll punch you in the face. Wanna know anything about the country, just PM.
I collect Naruto figures. I collect fanart. I collect stuffed bunny rabbits. I love doggies. I fling cats across the room. I love astronomy.
I loved FFX, and I thought Tidus was a good character. Yep. I said it.
I play World of Warcraft.
I post infrequently in many places... so if you want a response to something just PM. 3nodding

My name is Phillip and I'm 22 years old.
I've been playing RPGs since the first Dragon Warrior game came out in the US. 3/4 of my game collection is RPGs, ranging from some light hearted ones like Raphsody to more adult ones liek the Shin Megami Tensei series.
I love to RP and tend to play one character I make mostly off myself and things I snag from other games which I do on the link in my sig. (I'm an admin there.)
I collect many strange things, but mostly dragon things, love horror movies, have three kittens who use me as their bed every night and...I think that's about it about me.

Most either call me D, Dampylle, or Shadowfire.... though my close friends call me Sean
I am fairly well versed in terms of RPGs, but I suppose that goes with the 15+ years of RPG gaming. I started when I was quite young with the early FF and DQ games, then later moved on to other games as time went by.
At the moment I am more fond of darker RPGs or those with atypical stories (Games such as Xenogears, Shadow Hearts, Shin Megami Tensei, etc) though I do still enjoy more traditional ones. I also find that as I gre more experienced with various RPGs that gameplay became more of a concern for me, I want good gameplay and a good story... but if one is a little lacking the other can make all the difference in the world.
Here on Gaia I am most known around the VGD for some of the debates I have partaken of, and in some cases for the fact that I always attempt to remain unbiased and logical in any kind of comparison, as well as the fact that I am usually very well informed when it comes to games, hardware, and release info. I also am a regular at a few long standing threads, I made the long standing Shadow Hearts series thread and helped craft the longest running Chrono Series thread to date.

Boo-yah. I run the Chrono Series thread in the VGD with the help of Dampylle to keep the illogical fanboys from ranting away. I'm into most any RPG you throw at me. There isn't a series that I don't like. There are some however that I have not played. Currently on the Tales of Legendia RPG, which multi tasking with Dragon Quest VIII.

Hi there, this is EriceMurcas (That's a big duh-oh-four, sir...) and I'm here for the obligatory introduction post. (The minstrels insert their unenthused "Yays" here.)
Age: 23
Games I Love: *whistles* Um, the Wild ARMS series, most of the Final Fantasies, Grandia Two and Grandia X-Treme, Shadow Hearts, Lost Kingdoms, Vanguard Bandits, Chrono Trigger (Oh god, I love that game...), Chrono Cross, Xenogears, Disgaea, Makai Kingdom, Phantom Brave, and the list goes on.
Mmm, what else... Oh, right, my first real RPG was Chrono Trigger (I was about to put Shadowgate, but I don't think that's considered an RPG.)
As for fangirling, meh, I don't do it a lot, not here anyway; however, my LJ is another story entirely. ^_~
I normally don't talk a lot; in fact, this is really the first long post I have made in awhile.
I dabble in fanart and fanfic but I don't think I'm all that great at either, heh. ^^;
I really have a lot of interests but there's not enough space here and, besides, I'm sure you all have better things to do. biggrin
So ends ye ole' obligatory post. Take care, all. ^_^

Yo, my name is Mark, but online, and any other not-in-person place I go by Maruku. Just turned 20 at the start of the year. I've been on gaia for...Not too long, actually, only a little longer than a year, i think...hmmm it feels like a lot longer.
I tend to hang around the Final Fantasy and A/M/C forums, and I head into the DDR sticky in VG every so often. I used to go to ED a lot, but after a while, all the topics start to be about the same things...
So my favorite RPGs would probably be FFVI, SoM, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, Mario RPG: Legend of the seven stars, and Chrono Trigger. yay.
Also, I don't have a PS2, nor have I played most games that have come out for it, but I still have my good ol' SNES up and running!

Boo.
Hello, all, nice to meet you. My name's David, I'm 25, and I mostly hang around the FF Riddle thread. I haven't actually played that many non-Square console RPGs; my experience is more on the PC side of things (my first RPG was... hmm... either Pool of Radiance or Keef the Thief, I think).
I enjoy reading, writing, role-playing (pen and paper variety) and computers in general. Apart from RPGs, I quite like adventure/puzzle games, space sims, fighters and the occasional action game (side-scrollers like Cave Story are especially good).
Thanks for inviting me!

Um, hello all.
I'd say my name is Byuu, but that sounds really strange (to me, if not to you), considering that that is the name of a character, and a silent protagonist at that. In fact, I feel like I'm breaking some kind of divine commandment every time I post anything that isn't "...". Or maybe that's just breaking the fourth wall. I'll be seventeen next week.
My road to RPG fandom was a winding, pot-hole-riddled one in which I kept turning in the wrong direction. It's a lot more complex than most of yours, from what I've seen. sweatdrop As such, I'll spare you the boredom of reading about it here.
I'm a retrogamer of the Golden Age of RPGs (SNES era), so most of my favorites and gaming knowledge is centered there.
Favorite RPGs by Archmage's definition are Lufias I and II, Final Fantasies III-VI, FFIX, Live-a-Live, Chrono Trigger and Cross, Mario RPG, and Suikoden (I, II and IV - need to play III and IV).
Favorite RPGs in the amalgamates that Archmage disputes are Terranigma, Bahamut Lagoon (as if it wasn't obvious), FFT, FFTA, and Hoshigami (even if it needs to DIE for its difficulty).
Want to play Tales Of (other than Phantasia and Eternia), Grandia, Phantasy Star, Fire Emblem, Ogre Battle/Tactics Ogre, Persona, and Disgaea games. And a whole boatload of others, of course. However, I simply don't have the time or energy to keep up as much anymore, so I'm more in this for fond recollections than not. Doesn't mean I wouldn't, just that I can't.
Feeling rather underqualified at the moment.
BTW, I love what I saw in the invitations thread concerning my profile and avatar, which I did tailor as exactly as I could after Byuu. mrgreen Yep, I do really love Bahamut Lagoon, especially that love triangle and the atypical recognition Byuu gets in the world of his game. Also, interesting that you'd invite me on the basis of a game that, by strict definition (Archmage's), is a strategy game, and not an RPG at all, LOL.
Ess_Tii_Eph_Yuu, you're the one that writes Thinking Inside the Box? I've been following that for months at Icybrian's! I'm duly awed.
