Chase sat down at his nearly prepped camp. The tent was set easily, with leaves and branches stiffly roofing his temporary home. He had already caught a rabbit, and skinned it. He was smart when it came to the wild. Though he longed for a small company, he was fine by himself. He found two rocks coated in flint, and began scraping them together around his strongly-made fire pit.
Ella zoomed through forest. She passed by few animals, and when she did, she giggled excessively, as if she knew something about them that they didn't, but that was the main idea. She muttered some words in Fae, then found home. Above, in a tree, she had claimed. A small weeping willow, that sat sturdily in the middle of her little pond. "Fae spiddle." she whispered. "I forgot to get some cotton." she sighed heavily, then floated up into the tree.

Rosthorn was pissed now. "I warned you never to cross my territory." She fluttered out of her tree, red dust sifting from her wings, a dartgun in her hand. She brought it to her lips and took aim.
Faleen soon became bored with the group below her and moved on through the trees. She walked a little ways until she found the scent of raw meat. She followed it to a camp she hadn't noticed before. She laid concealed on the branch just watching.

Annabell watched them argue for a few minutes then said, " Do you two always argue like this?"
Luna got bored, but now knew most of their names. Luna and Casper fly off above the trees.

Chase had started the fire, the sparks from the rocks easily igniting the dead grass and wood. He jabbed the rabbit on to a stick, and rested on top of the four sticks he was using as a perch over the fire. He sat calmly, turning the meat every so often.
((Btw. I looked at Random's profile. Pixichix sent me a message talking about how Ella was just like Random, and I wasn't sure till now. I guess she is like Ella lol. I wasn't really thinking about it while I was creating the character.))

((Lol I was there when she had her freak out. I applaud you. I couldn't've done it better.))
Faleen watched the fire and rabbit curiously. She hadn't used fire for cooking before. She mostly ate things raw or took from the land. She crept closer on the branch until an ominous snap sounded behind her. Crap, she thought as the branch came down with her on it.

Chase leaped up, standing on the log that he had previously been sitting on. Some sort of animal had fallen out of the tree. No. Not animal. But not human. He stared curiously, readying the blade that hung crookedly off his belt.

Faleen got up slowly, stretching and flexing to see if she damaged anything. She looked at the person, hoping she didn't frighten it away. She stared at the person with wide curious eyes. Staying on all fours she began to move slowly forward.

Chase was quick about his wits. The animal seemed like an actual animal, yet it held an acute sense of intellegence about it. Chase kept his stare on the animal's eyes. They held a softness about them, that almost showed as if the animal did not want to kill him. Despite this interesting feature, Chase shook it off, still readying his sword.

"Don't," Faleen said so low it was almost a growl. She stopped moving as she watched his hand by his sword. She didn't want to fight tonight and she had already hunted earlier that day.

Chase was more surprised about this than he appeared. He observed the animal then his mind flooded back to his studies. Callow plant cat. Carnivoric cat. Cat kella. Catshra. Catmen.. Catmen. Now he understood. He released his grip on his sword, and lowered back to the ground.
"What say you." he whispered, sternly. "Scavenger, or intruder?" he spoke with a strong voice, but quiet tone.

Faleen still didn't move. "Neither. Passing by. Misjudged the branch's strength." Her voice was still low but there was a trace of embarrassment as her pride had been injured with the fall. Some of the words were slurred almost as if she didn't fully speak common.

Chase observed her for another moment, before speaking again. "Do you you fare well?" he asked. Chase spoke an advanced common, learning this from his studies. He had asked if she was alright from the fall.

Faleen listened a moment and nodded once. "Fare well," she said repeating the words. She was more parroting them unsure what they meant. She only knew a slightly advanced common. Enough to get her by with others and make trades. Her eyes were moons with the firelight now reflected in them.

Chase nodded in approval. His eyes followed hers to the fire. "Do you hunger?" he asked.

Faleen shook her head. She backed off. "I go now," she said backing up toward the trees again. "Good hunting and may den be dry when you return," she said giving the farewell of her people. It was the only one she knew.
