"hunter" he replied "great meeting you, see you back tonight, then." he said with a good smile in her direction, then sucumb to Chads pulling. How did I forget names?! he thought to himself as they left.

Hunter had returned just as promissed, and started scanning the crowd for Kotone. He was standing exactly where they met that day just to be sure he couldn't miss her.

I'm a thief... Kotone walked toward the meeting point nervous, and a little upset with herself. For starters, she wasn't in the position to have a relationship, and secondly she didn't have enough money to spend in good clothes. She already was ashamed about her thievery. If she had to go as far as to take what was not her's in order to survive, she would at least spend the ill-gotten money only on necessities. Dress clothing wasn't a necessity, however, now Kotone wished that she had at least one good outfit. She now wore a clean, plain, short-skirted dress, and green hat. She had washed and shaved herself beforehand, so now her long blond hair, which was usually in a bun under her hat, flowed freely down her back. Soon she reached the meeting spot and found Hunter there. "Hi. Have you been waiting long?" she asked nervous.Don't catch me...

"naw, I haven't been waiting for that long" he said, and looked at her, thinking for a minute about what to say. He had tried to make his hair look a bit neater, but it wasn't that different and he was wearing the same thing as well. "you look nice, I like the way you have your hair" he said figuring she had done it on purpose.

"thanks... Soo..." hunter said trying to make conversation, while looking up at the sky. He thought of what to say and his glance immediately returned to her "...have you lived here in Ba Sing Se for long?"

"I have lived here my whole life..." he thought about what he knew was outside of ba sing se because of the maps and suddenly felt constricted. He wanted to see the world and it just hit him then. "How did you get here then? where were you before?" he said with sudden burning interest.

Hunter suddenly looked sadly as she finished her sentence. "...My mother was killed when I was seven, and my brother was an infant." he said looking like it was hard for him to talk about it. For a second he looked her in the eye and felt a strong sense of connection "we have a lot in common actually"

"hehe, yeah, me neither, really. In fact im out of work right now" Hunter said trying to calm her unsteadiness of her last statement by being relateable. "Do you have a place to stay?"
