He narrowed his eyes and mouthed a few words before slightily bopping his head. But the kick broke the moment of music, pulling out one ear piece giving him a curious look, "I'm sorry, did you say something?"

Yami stared at Seto for a long moment before turning away, his eyes on the his hands which rested on his lap.

Mr. K interupted the moments, "Anyways..." He snatched the magazine from Seto closing it shut. "We'll be doing a a interview soon, to introduce the world who The Devil's Children are!" He angrily grippe da fist, "Unfortunally, both Bakura and Marik decided not to come, probably sleeping in from god knows what they do-" he rubbed the ridge of his nose, "I'll call when I set up the interview, but until then, I'll see you bo-" before he could finish Yami stood up and headed out the door, slamming it shut.

Yuugi awoke several hours later feeling much better than he had been. He stretched and looked at his alarm clock. It read '10:00 AM'. He didn't need to rush or anything, as their band had rehersals at noon. Yuugi got up, took a shower, had breakfast... you know, the usual. After those things had been done and out of the way, it was 11:30 AM.

'I better start heading out, lest I be late.' Yuugi thought. He grabbed his cell, his notepad, his keys, and his sunglasses and walked out the door into the morning sunshine. He walked down a long road, then turned to the left and walked straight into a studio. The guy at the front desk recognized him.

"Room 3, Yuugi."

"Thanks Rapheal." Yuugi replied and walked to room number 3. Inside all he found was their manager and a sleeping Jou. Yuugi sighed. Ryou had told him that he was visiting his sick mother and Malik was helping his sister with something. He didn't question them, nor did he tell them that they couldn't be where they were. He knew them well enough to know that it had to be important to miss rehersals, as they all were very dedicated to the band. The manager walked up to him as he entered and started giving him a briefing.

"As you told me, Malik and Ryou didn't show up. Jou over there came in early saying that he wanted to practice a little before the rehersal with you. All he ended up accomplishing was going to sleep. You guys really need to work hard if you want to stay number one and win the competition. The only real competitor you have is the Devils Children. They're really good. I went to one of their performances to see what they were made of and... well... lets just say they are really close behind you. You need to have your music ready by next week... do you think you can do it?" The manager asked. She looked at Yuugi very seriously.

"No problem. I've basically got the music down pat. All we need is to get everyone together and actually do some rehersing." Yuugi said confidently.

"This isn't something to take lightly, Yuugi. This is your future. If you manage to pull this off, you're good to go, but if you don't... lets's just not think about that right now. You just really have to focus right now. That's all I'm asking of you." She said.

"All I'm saying is that I know we can do it. I understand what you're saying, and I thank you for your concern, but don't worry yourself sick. We'll do fine." Yuugi said, smiling at her. The manager sighed.

"Ok, I'll believe you... but do me a favor and take care of that sleepy drummer of yours... he's starting to snore." She said, slightly annoyed. As expected, Jou was snoring in his sleep. Yuugi walked over and pushed Jou out of his seat.

"Ow... huh? Oh, hey Yuugi! What's up?" Jou asked sleepily.

"Nothing. I wanted you to look at the song I wrote last night." Yuugi said. He really wanted to know if it was good or not.

"Alright buddy, hand it here." Jou said holding his hand out. Yuugi handed his the paper with the song on it. Jou read through it a few times and came to a conclusion. "Hmm... It's not the best I've ever seen, but it's pretty good. We could use it as an opener. After all... I think they requested that we do at least two or three pieces... do you have anything else?" Yuugi was happy that Jou liked it, but 'good' just wasn't good enough.

"Not at the moment. I'm sure something will come to me though." Yuugi said as he sat down and worktable. He took out his ntebook and started brainstorming. It didn't take long for an idea to come to him and he went with it.

Once he finished he let out a side. Jou came over and read what he had written over his shoulder.

"Now that's what I'm talkin' about! I knew you could do better. This is great! Wait till the others hear this!" Jou said excitedly.

"You really think it's that good?" Yuugi asked.

"Good? No. Awesome? Hell ya!" Jou hugged Yuugi tightly.

"Ack! Can...can't br-breath... Jou." Yuugi gasped out as he was attacked with the hug of doom.

"Sorry Yug'. I think you've done enough for today... why don't we just go home? Or maybe to the mall!"

"Jou... you're starting to sound like a girl."

"The only reason I want to go to the mall is because they have great pizza there!" Jou said.

"Okay... if you say so. I'm just gonna go home... do whatever you wish. Rehersal is over." Yuugi said, walking back out the door. He walked back home. Jou did.... whatever he did.

((Sorry I didn't post in so long. I was preoccupied with trying to raise enough money to go to Austrailia... I finally did it. Now I can relax.))

Kaiba cursed to himself before nearly running over to the elevator, quickly stopping the elevator door from closing fully before slipping in. Blue eyes turned to Yami and narrowed slightly, "What was that all about?"

"Dammit Yami. Don't you think I know that? I know what you put into this group- but you never seem to care when it's important! We both work hard at our music, but at least I pay attention when we have meeting's. You never seem to be in the same room, and instead are off in your own little world!" He shot back angrily, fists clenched at his sides.

"Yami, don't be stupid. It'll take you forever to get to your place. Let me drop you off, and then you can continue to be ticked off." Kaiba said, stepping out behind the other.

Kaiba sighed slightly, "Yami..." He simply shook his head, changing his mind about saying anything as he headed out towards his bike. Fishing his keys out of his pocket, he put his helmet on before getting on the motorcyle and sticking the keys in the ignition.
