A low rumbling growl started in her throat and she grinned, showing off newly sprouted fangs. She was transforming. She leaned her head back and closed her eyes tightly, clenching her teeth as her temples pounded in pain. After a moment, white hot searing pain shot through her head as Four horns, two on each side of her head, forced their way through her head. Now she fell to her knees, hunched over and gasping as yet more pain seared through her body, making her ache and shiver. She bit her lip until it bled, willing herself not to cry out in pain as her shoulderblades moved aside to make room for the giant black wings bursting through the skin on her back and fanning out in their full size, drying in the winter air. The bandits went pale with fright and turned to run.

There's no use moping here...I should go get somebody to talk to.
She thought for a moment, not noticing her fire orbs crawling off to some trees.
"Hey, HEY! No forest fires right now, you might hurt somebody," she shouted, and they quickly disappeared, returning back to her hands.
"Ya know...some day there's gonna be some type of bear thats gonna stop forest fire-starting pests like you two," she said, staring off into the distance.

She traced her hand along the side of the mountain, hearing Tomoe. She stopped for a moment, then continued, beginning to laugh a little again and mutter to herself.

She looked up and the fire disappeared.
"Mkoi?" Tomoe fluttered over to her and poked her head.
"You alright?"

" Oh no you dont " She said in a voice quite unlike her own.
She felt no pain anymore, her whole body was numb and she wasnt even aware of the blood that poured from her open wound. She leaped into high into the air, not slying but rather gliding on the soft current of the air. She spotted the bandits. She folded her wings to her side and flexed her black claws, coming down on them like a meteor shower and twisting in the air, her feet hit one man on the head and she turned her legs, snapping his neck before kicking into the air again. She rolled and came down on another man, grabbing him by the shoulders and letting her feet, swing down on him from behind, snapping his spine. She jumped and crouched on the ground. She sprung up and in the process, flung her claws out and twisted, sliting the remaining man and woman's throats.

Tomoe looked at her and sighed.
What is she up to...
She fluttered back up to the tree and started flinging acorns at Mkoi.

She whirled around, muttering something. The acorns caught fire and crumbled into ashes just before hitting her. "stop it! I have enough problems going on right now!"

Ranae silently began to trudge back to her horse. Slowly, as she went, her wings and horns, along with her claws and fangs began to retract. Bringing with them her blissful numbness. As she regained feeling in her body, she regained the pain. And before she could make it to her horse, she fell to her knees, now finally noticing she had lost half her blood while fighting. She lay limply in the snow, her blood forming a pool around her as she lay, paralized. The edges of her sight began to blur as she fought for conciousness.

Tomoe winced.
"I sorry!"
She ran up and hugged Mkoi like a little child, then ran off to the tree again.
She finally cracked...er....more.

Kino sat there and looked to the sky. " A storm is coming soon.......You should seek shelter......." Kino told her in a low tone.

She blinked, then shrugged and began walking again. She quickly whirled around, stepping backwards as another spirit came up behind her, then turned and ran.

She turned her head back to Kino, re-opening her eyes. "I dont have anywhere to go Kino..." She said repeating herself as she took in a sharp, ragged breath. For some reason it pained her to breathe in, but she didnt say anything and only put a hand to her rib cage.
