wow, that really didn't work, did it? o well, sorry about the messy post!

lol Nah its okay...you can ask all the questions you want..I like telling people about my island and my horses and stuff.
Well this may come to a shock for some people, but we have no mall...not even close to one. The closest is in Juneou. We dont even have a Wal*Mart. No fast food or anything. No chain restraunts or stores. All the stores and stuff here are family businesses. A lot of people fish and make a living fishing, crabbing or shrimping. There are only 2 ways off the island one is flying and the other is taking a boat..weather its your own or the Alaska Marine Highway (ferry boats)
The people on the island are very nice and are always happy to see you down town or something. Yes, everybody knows everybody. I can say 'Yeah my mom might buy Bills truck' and everybody knows who Im talking about because there is very little chance that more than one Bill will be selling their trucks at the same time. The island I live on is called Wrangell. Its in southeast Alaska. Everywher you look, you see either trees or ocean with hundreds of islands in the back ground. If you were to find the island on a map youd have to know what you were looking for because its not labeled, but its in between Juneou and Ketchican. If you want to see some pictures, just ask or go to google, click images and just type in Wrangell, Alaska. Not all the pictures online are in Wrangell...some of them are Petersburg. Sorry I typed so much....this isnt exactly horse related sweatdrop gonk

drool, that makes me want to go back to Ketchican so bad! i went once for camp a few years ago. we were stuck on an island with no showers for a week, lol, it was fun (don't worry, there was a river to take a bath in). ive never seen any good beaches like that in alaska! probably cuz the only ones we really got to see were at a dock or whatever. have you (or anyone else) ever been to haida qwaii? (queen charlettes)? i went there this fall... aw man, did i ever wish i had my pony to gallop across those beachs. there were hoof prints in the sand on a couple of them! so yeah, any way ...drool... sorry, nothing to do with horses! had to say!Cool you've been to Ketchican? I like it there but Id never want to live there. I like Wrangell just fine. And was the camp you went to on an island called Vank Island? I went to that camp a few times. Its fun...no horses though lol.

Actually I have broken a bone I think I already mentioned it earlier? But it was unrelated to horseriding and I had only been horseriding for one or two years (I was eight at the time) and I broke my elbow and was told I couldn't horseride gonk Although I started again a year or two later from scratch because my arm was pretty weak (I had to go through physiotherapy, hope I spelt it right) and when I got my arm out of my cast I couldn't move it! Even now I still can't touch my shoulder because my elbow doesn't bend enough!

AAAAAAUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, I've never fallen off, but I have been bucked by a horse named Charm. But I thats not what I'm going to talk about. Here is what happened.

It was like any other Saturday at Rhythm Run Stables. I reported there at 2:00 on that hot summer day. Boy, was it burnin' out there. We finally got some bussiness. It was a guy, his sister, and her three kids. The first 2 girls were excited and their ride went fine. When we got to the smallest girl, who was 4, she got on. We told her mother that she needed someone to ride with her, but her mom said she would be fine on her own. I volunteered to walk on the side with her and just be friendly and ask her questions as she rode. In case she lost her balance I had my hand resting on the side of the saddle. We were on the second round, and Chrissy's dad (Chrissy is the owner's daughter, and one of my bffs.) Came up the hill that charm had just passed. Charm turned real quickly to see who was coming, the little girl lost her balance and fell. I FELT SO BAD!!!!!!! Even though Charm turned away from me and it would have been impossible to catch her, I still felt responsible. She was lying on the ground crying, and her mother rushed over, cussing, and scooped her up, evern though we told her not to touch her. I was instantly in charge of Charm, and the little girl seemed fine after a few minutes and a visit to the chickens. Even though I was shocked, angry(with myself), and felt like crying, I was still proud of Charm for not moving and stepping on the girl when she was on the ground. I still feel bad, but now I know that they forgave us. They wouldn't take their money back and they said it was ok.

Oh that kinda happened to us once. A grandmother and her grand son came a wanted a pony ride. Well we let the little boy on one horse by himself and his grandmother on another. Well the little boy got scared and wanted his grandma to ride on the same horse as he was. So the little boy got on his grandmas horse. Well the ride was all fine and dandy untill we came up to a little hill. Well we lead the horse down it and at the bottem of the hill the grandmother looses her balence and grabbes on to the saddle horn for support. The saddle slipped and the little boy and his grandmother come tumbling off the horse. The grandma lets her grandson fall ontop of her while she hit the frozen rocks (it was winter) The little boy was fine but his grandma wasnt. She couldnt move so we called the Ambulance. We were so scared because the woman that fell off JUST HAPPENED to be the woman that likes to sue everybody. We thought that she would sue us. But she didnt. I dont think she broke anything. Just bruses thats it. (I say 'well' a lot dont I? lol)
