Antares looked at Ryu, his face void of emotion. "I am a Great Sage, there is nothing about the inhabitants of this world I do not know about. Every king, queen, duke and so on are much easier to identify since they generally place themselves at the top of the heirarchy of society. Now, I have a small question for you: Why do you escape your destiny for the education of others?"
Xaix overheard Melody saying she wasn't going to use her full strength. The problem was, that probably still was enough to beat him. "Ok..." He said to himself. "I just have to concentrate on my spear..." Through his eyes, he could see a small air current circling the room. He tried to maniupulate it to surround the spear. It worked...if only for a few seconds...the air quickly released itself and continues it's natural pattern. "Dammit, gotta work harder at this..."

"That's..." Ryu thought deeply for a moment. Not even he knew the answer to that question. He just escaped the aristrocracy to live more freely, and what better way to do so by helping others while having freedom. Maybe Atares was right, maybe he was escaping his destiny... Ryu looked at Atares straight in the eye.
"What do you want to proof with this? It doens't change the fact that I'm a duke the way I live now."

Melody noticed what he was trying to do and laughed. You need to be more free like the wind. For example my element is water. So I must be fluid in my motions. Melody bent water from a nearby fountain in one swift motion. She began to move which looked like dancing. This made the water circle the spear so she could gain control. The water and the spear fused and she sent it flying towards Xiax. It stopped just a second before hitting Xiax right between the eyes. See what I mean? She released her hold on the spear and it fell to the ground. Of course I am but a mere amateur. Our teacher is highly advanced from me. My teacher before him was a little below his rank. I still need a lot of help in everything other than judo and spears/swords. I can't even hold a bow right.

Antares shook his head. "I am not here to prove anything, I was just curious. Normally one does not stray the path destiny has chosen for them without a good reason, so I was wondering what yours could have been. I apologise if there were any misunderstandings." He bowed slightly. "Now then, you asked my knowledge of weaponry, if I am correct, was there something specific you wished to know?"
Xaix, frozen on the spot by almost being hit in the face with his spear, picked it up and just stared at it. "Uh...huh..." Xaix said to Melody. Xaix shook off his shock and turned to Melody. "Well to be honest, I wasn't trying to control the spear with the wind, like you just did with water...I'm attempting to control the wind with the spear. That's just in case I don't have enough power to control the wind, so my spear can work in my power's place by launching it's own air attacks. But to do that I need the two to fully merge with one another, which judging by how I'm going...may take a while." He smiled at Melody and laughed a little.

Melody smiled. Well I don't think I have every seen that before. Well just remember, for the wind to except you as it's controler, you must first except the wind as yours. Why don't you think about that. She went back to her training.
(Melody sounds like a fortune cookie!!LOLZ)

"I shouldn't tell him why I did what I did..." he whispered to himself.
"Oh well, yea. I wanted to fight with you. I want to see how good of a teacher you are. I'm good with weapons and martial arts. So what do you say? Are you up to the challenge?" Ryu asked drastically chaging his tone of voice.
Ryu started walking towards the weapon are to grab one, and as he passed by Antares he whispered to him, "This conversation never happend and you don't know anything about me. Got it?" he said with a deep serious tone and a semi-evil grin.

Xaix nodded and smiled. "Yeah, thanks Melody...maybe when I get better at this we can have our sparring match." Xaix laughed again and went back to practising with the spear.

"A challenge you say?" Antares smiled. "Very well then, I hope you know what you are doing. As for this conversation, it'll be our little secret then."
Antares summoned his favourite weapon: an obsidian glaive and walked to the center of the room.

"That's what I wanted to hear. You shouldn't underestimate me." Ryu said as he grabbed his sword. (x2 since Ryu uses twin swords)

"And you should not underestimate me either." Antares took up a defensive position. "This will be a no-magic match. Any magic used by any opponent is disqualified."
(sorry but gotta go...got an exam in like an hour gonk )

*walks into the weaponary room*
"Hello everybody. I am Ms. Day Lily and I am the new music Director. I wont be a student but i will be joining every class to see what yall are learning. " She pauses while she fiddles with her cresent blades* "oh! and i will also start having an after school Defense class on the school grounds with the help of the weaponary teacher.. . "*looks around* "who is the weaponary teacher?"

"He is." Ryu says pointing at Antares. "Oh, my name is Ryu Yamamoto. I'm the math teacher. Nice to meet ya." he said smiling. He put his weapon down to greet her. The he went back to his defensive position.
