Rios, followed the same mindset of Matsuya and eyed everyone entering the shop, so many different tastes of chakra, they were all so mellow though but that was besides the point. Rios' eyes followed Kiyoko as she left the table and he would wait to respond until she came back, it seemed she was making another friend from the silent girl who kinda acted the same way she did with a note book. By the looks of it, it seemed as if they were long lost friends. When both girls looked back at him and Matsuya, Rios felt as if he should make an invitation available even though he had no idea that Kiyoko already invited her, any way, Rios leaned in his chair and pulled another chair to the table and patted on the cushion lightly. He turned back to Matsuya, "I only wish I could sleep and read. I have been on patrols all across the eastern border for the last week, completely boring, and soaking wet. I think its the rain season." Rios poured himself a glass of water and took a sip, "What kind of books do you read?" He couldn't help but look over to the couple at the next table, they seemed to be of a higher rank, but Rios had to remind himself that age didn't correlate with rank. Look at himself for example, he was well past 20 and was only a genin. He didn't even look like one, because he was battle hardened by his time of service within the Water Lord's service.

Mileena looked at all the faces around the table before she lowered herself into the chair. She didn't really feel like speaking mentally to anyone else, so she produced her notebook and began to write. "It's really nice to meet all of you. Forgive me if I come off as a bit strange, but that's just the way I am". Mileena spoke directly to Kiyoko without turning her head or making it known.

"How do you manage to get along with people that are so much different than you? I've never been able to do it".

Matsuya nodded as he finally understood why Kiyoko was so happy. In fact, this may have been the happiest he'd seen Kiyoko since this morning. But now he had to worry about two people getting into his mind. Kiyoko he didn't mind, but he didn't know Mileena well enough to let her inside. Matsuya's smile widened as his eyes went back to Rios. Within about a day and a half he'd met more interesting people than he had in his entire life. "Lately, anything I can get my hands on. It distracts me from things around me." Matsuya used the word 'things' try and avoid the event he knew would have to happen eventually: telling people that he could talk to spirits. For now, he just wanted to be normal though.

Mileena looked at Rios' hand sceptically before she held up her own and took it. She flicked him a smile and nodded her answer to his inquiry of her being a Genin before she released and watched him renew a conversation with the other boy. She thought it strange. She was actually sitting at a table making friends with a bunch of Genin such as herself. It was all too real to be true, yet she shooed the negative thoughts out of her mind. When the boy brought on the conversation of any of them meeting the Mizukage, Mileena tensed slightly. She had heard through the thoughts of many of the villagers of how he had come from Sunagakure to assume the role of their leader. She found that she couldn't accept him yet. All the bad memories she had of that place caused her to shiver infinitesimally while boring small holes into the table with her gaze.

Mileena came out of her reverie when she realized that she had not answered his question. She tore a page from the notebook and wrote quickly yet neatly on it. "No, actually. I hear he's from Sunagakure. Is that true?" Mileena kept her gaze on Rios as she handed him the paper and awaited his response, talking to Kiyoko with that familiar link that they shared.

"I'm happy that you were able to make friends though. It seems to come naturally to you. You befriended me so easily after all". A mental giggle escaped Mileena's mind as her face shifted to show it. She looked into the other boy's eyes, the one that had yet to introduce himself to her and couldn't help but think the worst. "I don't think your other friend, Matsuya, likes me very much. I can feel these apprehensive emotions coming from him. Did I do something wrong?"

Matsuya ran a hand through the silver mess on his head and sighed. Kiyoko was right, even if he wanted to avoid it. He tried to push his abilities to the back of his head so as not to think about them. Matsuya's eyes moved to Mileena. "Where are my manners? My name is Matsuya Komihachi." His small smile split his face again as he introduced himself. If Kiyoko trusted Mileena enough, Matsuya would try. This whole 'friends' thing was new to him. He was used to just pushing people away and being pushed away because of what he could do.

Matsuya shifted his eyes back to Rios and shook his head. "Sadly, no. I haven't read them. But I have met the new Mizukage. He seems a nice enough man, but I can't tell you I trust him." Matsuya looked back to Kiyoko. He'd speak mentally, even if Mileena could hear it. If you could teach me that after we meet Deil again, I'd appreciate it. You have to understand, it's not that I want to keep you guys out. It's just there are somethings I don't want anyone to know. Matsuya again used the word 'things' to cover up his real meaning. Kiyoko would understand, though. He'd made it kind of obvious that he could see spirits last night.

'So that's what he thinks. This just makes me want to meet him even less'. Mileena looked up at Rios for a few seconds before she turned her head down to the notebook before her and wrote. "Since neither of us has met him yet, maybe we should go now. I admit I'm as skeptic as you are to meet him, but we'll have to sooner or later. So why not get it over with?" She then channelled her thoughts to Kiyoko through the special link they both shared passsing on her feelings of trepidation and distrust of the new Mizukage to Kiyoko, letting her worries be known to her.

"No need to worry. I wasn't planning on opening my mind to him in the first place, and I definitely don't want to even attempt to pry into his".

Mileena finally got up from her chair, looking to each individual around the table. With naught but the intensity in her gaze, she made it known that she would be leaving for the Mizukage's office to finally meet him. She looked at them expectantly, hoping that they would follow her. Whether they did or not, she would have been out the door and on her way to the Mizukage's office.
