An angel and demon cursed to share a same fate and life. 
Lily smiled at Saber before she touched the petals of a closed rose. "How long will you be under the effects of the changing moon?" she asked softly. The flower began to glow with health so it would bloom well tomorrow. Her blue eyes glowed as she gazed up towards the moon and stars.
Slowly behind Lily, a form began to appear as male angel stepped onto earth from a portal. "ArchAngel. I bring news from heaven. Satan's army will be coming soon to attack heaven. Your father asks that you be on the look out for assassins" he said softly. He disappeared back into the portal.
Lily sighed at his words before she walked deeper into her garden. Unknown to her, Thorn had allowed two demon assassins into her garden since he knew her habits well. They were waiting for such a chance. The naga wrapped his huge tail about Lily crushing her wings against her body. His fellow demon, smirked as he licked his lips. "She will taste good under us before we kill her." he said darkly. They didn't expect Lily to scream for help and it be answered.

Saber
"Only tonight. I will be normal again when the sun rises," she replied. Saber to the healthy rose bud into her hands gently. There were roses and other flowers in hell. They decorated the grounds of Satan's castle. They were beautiful, but compared to the rose Lily had touched they were dull.
At the male angel's voice Saber jumped and whirled around. She had let her guard down and the angel's appearence took her by surprise. Saber blushed and looked away. The male angel was...beautiful. She looked back and shook away her blush only after the male had left. She stared at the place he had been only moments before. She had a dazed expression on her face as she spaced out. A blush crept back into her cheeks.
The sound of Lily screaming for help snapped her out of her daze. Quickly she flew toward the sound, sending her string and beads ahead of her. It quickly found the demons and wrapped around them, the beads burning them where they touched flesh. Saber pinned them to the ground away from Lily as she landed on the ground. Emerald eyes blazing she looked down on the familiar faces of the demons. Saber looked at Lily over her shoulder. "Are you alright Lily?" she asked. She looked back at the demons who couldn't believe what they were seeing and hearing.
"L-Lord Saber? Why are you helping the angel? You are Satan's Knight!" the naga said.
Saber lifted the naga up so they were face to face. "Not anymore. Satan sold me. Send a message to my beloved lover. Tell him if he tries to take heaven or harm Lily, he will have ArchAngel Lily's Knight to deal with," she hissed smoothly. Saber wrapped the string and beads around the naga's neck and face burning him horroribly. The other demon was covered head to toe in string and beads and was half dead. She let them go and the both disappeared back to hell. Saber's string and beads returned to their place on her body.
She went to Lily's side. "We should go inside Lily," she said.

Lily coughed as she tried to heal her bruised lungs. The naga had crushed her wings and nearly killed her with his tail. "I am fine, Saber." she said rasply. Her blue eyes glowed brightly as her crippled wings began to heal. Slowly the crushed bones and feathers began to heal back to normal.
She slowly stood up as Saber returned to her side. "Yes i think that is best." she said softly. She headed inside to find Thorn standing in the doorway of her room. "So they got beaten. Useless fools" he said darkly. He smirked at her and Saber before leaving the room.

Saber
Saber nodded and followed her back inside. She was grateful that Lily could heal so quickly and easily. When she saw Thorn she scowled at him. Saber grew angry at Thorn's comment about the demon assaisns. They had been her men, her friends, loyal and brave. To have them mocked even when she was fighting against them now infuriated her. She wrapped her string and beads around the demon's neck tightly and pulled him back.
"Don't mock my friends in front of me," she hissed in his ear. Then she shoved him away and released him. Her beads and string returned to their place. She looked at Lily.
"I'm going to bed now. Good night Lily," she said, smiling slightly. Then she went to her room and crawled into her bed. Soon she was sound asleep.

Lily nodded to Saber. "Rest well, Saber. Your a very brave person" she said softly. Her blue eyes glanced at the doorway as Thorn entered her room smirking. "Finally, I get you alone without the watch bird. You will regret ever calling for help. what they would have done would have seemed ok compared to what i can do" he said darkly. Lily stood her ground as he advanced on her.
Three hours later, Thorn left her room with a smirk on his lips. Lily lay in wideing pool of her sliverish red blood. Her once lovely wings had been ripped to shreds before they were ripped off. No part of her body had been spared from his claws. He had even dared to take one of her eyes from her skull. As horifing as it seemed, her body was slowly healing the wounds as her body kept living. No matter what he did, she wouldn't die so easyly.

Saber
Saber slept soundly. He couldn't remember the last time he had rested so well. When he awoke he found himself male once more. Quickly he dressed and then he went to Lily's room. From outside her door he smelled a large amount of blood. He grew worried.
"Lily? Are you alright?" he asked, voice full of concern. He opened the door and went in the room. He was horrified by what he saw. Quickly he went to Lily's side and brushed some hair out of her face gently.
"Is there anything I can do to help Lily?" he asked.

Lily sighed softly as her lungs healed back together. "I am fine, Saber. Can you please help me outside? The sun will speed my healing" she said softly. Her blue eyes glowed as she looked up at him from her battered face. The pain was fading as her body healed.
Thorn had thought to try and break her but he had only hurt her yet she was still alive and well. The sun was how a angel lived and feed since they couldn't eat something that had once been alive unless they had no way to the sun. The sun, fresh air, and plants around them allowed angels to thrive. In hell their bodys slowly and painfully died due to the lack of the sun.

Saber
Saber sighed with relief and carefully helped her to her feet. Then he helped her outside. He found a bench in the garden that was in the sun and helped her sit down on it. He sat down beside her on the ground and leaned his head back against the bench. He closed his eyes as he relaxed in the sun.
"Are you feeling better?" he asked softly.((It's sunny where they are, but it's raining where I am. LOL XD))

Lily groaned softly as she felt the sun speed up her healing. Slowly her missing blue eyes began to form before she had one normal eye back. The wounds over her face and body began to quickly disappear like someone was brushing them away. She smiled down at Saber before touching his head gently.
"Thank you for worrying about me saber. I am healed see for yourself" she said softly. Her blue eyes glowed warmly as she smiled at him.
(the rain is clearing up here were i live in michigan. I walked home from school in the rain.)

Saber
Saber unconsiously leaned into Lily's touch. At her request he opened his eyes and gasped in amazement. The horrible injuries were gone!! He smiled back at her.
"You're amazing," he said, sitting up and gazing at her healed face. He reached up and gently stroked her cheek. "There's not even a mark left," he said.

Lily smiled at him. "Angels are fast healers if they are able to get to sunlight. If we are kept in darkness for to long our body's begin to weak as we start to starve." she said softly. Her body shock as she remenbered helping heal a angel who had been taken prisoner by demons. His once proud wings had torn to shreds and he was half alive. It had taken alot of her strenght to heal his wounds for they were to savage for the sun to be able to heal quickly enough.

Saber looked at her intently as he took this information in. Then he signed and rested his head on the bench. "You are lucky Satan has abandoned me. If he hadn't I would have told him that and then he would us it to take down heaven," he sighed again. His broken heart was begining to mend, but he really missed his son. He was never going to see his boy again. That hurt a lot.

Lily chuckled softly at his words. "I do not care if he learned of it. Even if he trys he can not stop the Sun from rising or setting." she said softly. Her blue eyes glowed as she looked up at the sun. A soft smile crossed her lips as she stood up. Slowly strange small orbs began to drift from her wings before they entered the flowers of her garden.
They were small orbs of sunlight that helped the plants out on cold dark days. She looked at saber as she smiled. "It is a nice day yet i feel that the rains are coming." she said softly.

Saber smiled slightly. "True, but he could have ordered me to drag you down to the deepest depths of hell. I would have obeyed and killing me would be the only way to make me stop," he said. Saber turned into his harpy form and opened his eyes. He looked up at the sun. It had literally been centuries since he had seen the light of day. He was pale because he had always been in hell.
"I think I will stay out here," he said softly. He did not care if it rained or whatever. He was enjoying the feeling of being out side. "Lily do you think it is strange to never want to fall in love again?" he asked.

Lily sighed softly. "When one is hurt by love they refuse to love again to avoid the pain. It is only natural." she said softly. Her blue eyes glowed as she turned away. Her wings folded behind her back as she began to softly sing. The song was a ancient one that angels sang to remenber their reason for being.
Thorn smirked from where he lounged leaning against a tree behind a few shurbs. He was just waiting for Lily to come near him so he could get her. It was time for another lesson to try and break her will. Once it happened, she would be his pawn to use against heaven.
