"A simple, but deadly one. I can show up at their house, they'll remember me, I get them to let me stay, I kill them in their sleep. Leaves no evidence and I won't have to dead with the complicatedness of cleaning." Milinda said.

"No equipment then," Wen noted, pulling higher into the air. He glanced at the radar briefly and then at the map of the city. "There's nowhere to land though. I can drop you off at a football field in the city, but you'll have to walk the remainder of the way there."

A few taps on the digital monitors later, he mused, "You could probably take a hoverboard...I'm assuming you don't want me to come along?"

"You are coming." Milinda said. "I need some one to watch my back. I don't care if we're walking or not. It's a small town."

Wen pursed his lips and nodded, shifting the map around and zooming out. "I'll have to stop the plane elsewhere then...."

He glanced at the map again, maneuvering the craft with one hand. After a long while, he shrugged and brought other screens forward. With a jerk of his hand, they sped up; the nose dipped down momentarily before leveling out again.

"That's fine." Milinda said. She looked out the window and saw the small town she usued to live in.

An hour and ten minutes had passed since they left the base in China. Wen angled the craft downwards towards the village, flicking on a silencing mechanism as well as a cloaking device as they dipped under the clouds and neared land.

"I'm going to land her on the giant pond in the park," he called to Milinda as the craft continued its rapid descent.

They landed without incident in the giant pond, the near- invisible jet scattered only a few of the birds there and a small splash. Luckily, the only two people in the vicinity was a couple kissing on the grass and they ignored the brief moment of chaos.

Wen cut the engine completely but ensured the invisibility wards were up and secure. He reached in the back and grabbed a bag and rummaged through it. I guess I can't use a sniper rifle for this... he thought, pulling a few short lasers out and slipping them into various pockets.

"Poison?" he muttered, offering a jar of tablets to Milinda. He grabbed a few more objects before opening the door. "I'm ready."

Milinda looked at Wen. "Obviously, you don't know how to work with me. We're not posioning my parents." She said venom in her voice. "Grab a dagger and that's it." She said already slipping the dagger in her boot.

Just a suggestion, Wen snapped in his head. If it weren't for the nature of the mission, I wouldn't be quite so nice.

He activated a hoverboard and glided quietly to the shore and sat on a bench, fiddling with tech. Over his eyes he set the glasses and was instantly ordering it--via eye contact--to bring up maps and turn on various functions.

Milinda glided over to where he was and sat next to him. "I'm sorry about that." She said softly. "I have a plan in mind, and it doesn't involve killing my parents." She looked at the couple on the grass. "They weren't taken when they were little, why should we have been?"

Wen sighed, a headache forming. "Fine. Tell me."

"We're in my home town now. On my area. Not much has changed, and I plan to never go back to China again. I'm going to "run" away, and you won't be able to stop me." Milinda said standing up braceing for a fight or to run.

You know, I really don't care. Wen thought, taking the glasses off and preparing to get back on the hoverboard. I'll just say she died in the process. I'm just the pilot, I won't be blamed. And there's no spying on the assassin's anyways. I could go back no problem. Brilliant.

"Good for you," he said, stretching his arms. "So. You were right behind them, about to finish them off without notice, when another assassin's bullet hit you. I heard the transmission cut off and escaped." He smiled and planted both feet on the hoverboard.

"G'bye then."

He was about to fly back to the ship and leave without incident, when suddenly a dagger flew out of the air and whistled past him, missing his chest by centemeters and leaving a scar in the vest. Wen jumped off the board and sought shelter behind trees, dragging Milinda with him.

With trepidation, he peeked through the branches and in the direction their adversary had shot from. The couple on the grass was no longer kissing, and the woman was holding a dagger--much unlike the one that was now wobbling fearfully close to them and the man was twirling another dagger, identical to hers.

Assassins? Or murderers? Wen thought, dodging a second dagger that flew at them. He rushed to another hiding spot and reset the glasses, and locked onto the couple, ordering a bio on each of them.

Milinda peeked behind the tree. "That's my parents!" She said happily the tears falling down her face. "Don't run Wen!" She said pulling on his arm. She stepped out from behind the tree and looked at her parents. "Mom! Dad! It's me-" She said right before her mother threw a dagger straight at her heart. Milinda dodged barely by an inch and ducked behind the tree. "Why are they trying to kill me?" She asked shocked. "Let's go!" She said running with Wen.

"I have no idea what parents are supposed to be like," Wen gasped as they ran, Milinda's parents chasing them. "But I'm guessing they don't try to kill their own daughter!"

He led the way through the maze of the park, running madly in any direction he could, so long as it was away from the other assassins.

"We need to find a way to fight, or get back to the ship. Any ideas?" he asked, jumping down rocks and flicking the safety off a laser.

"They don't recognize me! Maybe they're with the rival company! Who know's. We can't get back to the ship! Are you kidding?! Any good Assassin would have that cleaned out in five seconds flat!" Milinda said barely breathing while she was running. "Now I know where my accurate aim came from." She said almost tripping over a rock. "I know a place we can go." She said pulling on his arm to the left.
