Something within him shook, mentally. He took several moments to say something; he had to regain his composure. His voice was slightly shaky. "I-I'm not Haru. He's dead.." The conversation had caused him to lose concentration on his jutsu, and she slipped free. He is dead... right?
From in his mind, he heard a dark, deep voice. Of course he is. Get a grip.
Hearing Umbra's words snapped him back to his personality. "I am Sin..." The two relentlessly assaulted Umbra, not letting up any more so than before. It's thanks to them I even exist. You heard what she thinks of you.

Below the ground started to burble as Yuko released her kekkai genki.
Mira snapped her wire to hang from the ceiling and she chewed her lip as she dangled from the end of it, thinking on what was going on with her friend. He's lost somewhere in all of that... How to find him...
"If you're not Haru, then who are you?" she called out, "And what happened to him?"

Umbra closed her eyes, If only for a second. Everything happening around her slowed in her mind's eye... She crouched low and breathed.
My fear makes my barriers strong, it's true, But my courage will make them stronger...
She willed herself to be brave and when she opened her eyes, So opened a wave of multi-coloured Flashes around her. As is she were in the eye of a protective tornado, It's force repelelled the attackers and sent them flying.

"We loved Haru! Karin and I both loved him!" Mira yelled out, "And he was the one who stopped me from making a grave mistake when I found Kei alive and..." she bit her lip, tears at the still fresh and painful memory of her husband's betrayal.
"Haru! Wake up! This isn't you!" she yelled down, "What would Karin think if she saw her favorite uncle like this?"

"Nn.." K-... Karin? He shook the though from his mind. "No... That Haru is gone..." Obvious sadness, mixed with despair filled the air. "Haru may be here mentally.. But he created me to protect himself from now on. I love him enough to protect him. Can you say the same?"
"That is why he left to Akatsuki, as well.. He wanted them to have a happily ever after... The one he couldn't have." Although he was badly burnt, he didn't care. He'd do whatever it took to assure the happiness of Shane and Naruto. Even if it meant him leaving. For good.

She lowered the wire as she stretched out her arm, trying to reach his burnt hand, "After Kei... I thought everything was over... I just wanted to sleep and never wake up. You helped me then. And then when I found out what he was really about, you were there, even before Neji and Gaara were."
Her fingers were almost grasping him, "I'm not about to let you go into this darkness! Not if I can do anything about it!"

Umbra cancelled her jutsu and lowered her chakra.
She walked over to Haru, Feeling bad about here battle-fuled word's earlier and stood before him.
After a moment's hesitation she layed a hand on his shoulder.
She felt fearful, of Sin, this other Haru. But she also felt pleased, to hear the love for shane and naruto that sang through his voice.
"It's true that pain can make you strong Haru, But...You cant loose yourself, for it's Haru that shane and Naruto Love, and Haru they want."
She straightened herself and held her finger to her nose.
"Always remember the GOLDEN RULE: Never hold a grudge."
A moments silence filled the air and Umbra broke it but plunging her fist into the sky.
"Now let's celebrate our Hard-Training with Ramen at our favourite Bar! Chop-Chop Mira!
I'm as hungry as a little african kid!"

Mira caught him as he fell, "Yuko! Get him some medical attention... now!"
She turned to Umbra, "Go on to the bar and prep the cot I keep for emergencies, and tell Neji he's going to be giving a massage. We're gonna make Haru feel extra loved when he wakes up."
She chewed her lip, "Maybe not in that way right now, but we're at least going to work on cheering him up."
