Yeah, that's how it tends to be with us too but that's only because they don't know when the shows come on. Sometimes they watch stuff when we don't put it on. Such as the time when my dad was over in Iraq. He bought the subbed version of 'Howl's Moving Castle' when he wasn't even really sure what it was and he watched it. The day he came back we went out to eat at Cracker Barrel and he was like "Hey, have you ever heard of Howl's Moving Castle? It's a really good movie that I bought while I was over there and I was told it was anime." and I was like, "Holy freaking crap! I loved the book!"
Needless to say, I watched it the day after he got back and I loved it. He's got good taste in movies, that he does. ^_^
