When the gunship was fully loaded, and all of the Mercenaries were on board, Roy started to move Haxxors up. As the ship turned away and began to head for the Capital, where they could meet up with Wielder, Roy spotted smoke in the distance. There was a lot of it.
"What the...? Wielder, sir, you'd better take a look at this..." He hit a button on his eyepiece that would send a video relay to Wielder and the Other mercs. It showed, just beyond the bridge where the deal had taken place, a large number of Mechs, standing about twenty feet tall, walking through the town. They bore the colors of the other nation. Upon zooming in, the feed showed Tanks and Infantry behind.
In the jet, Wielder relayed the information to Gavin. "Your country is being invaded."

K', who was still standing next to the exit, kept a good grip in case the aircraft had to do some sort of maneuver. His cape billowed in the breeze that clashes against him due to the speed they were traveling. His gaze was focused on the ground; he was trying to look for something that might look suspicious, besides the whole traitorous deal and the random attackers.
A beep could be heard from inside his jacket, specifically from his pocket. He pulled out his eyepiece and looked at it. An image was popping on the small screen. Slightly annoyed about the fact that he had to wear that thing once more, K' placed the eyepiece on his head and observed the image with detail. As he watched the image and the events occurring in it, he realized that he only needed to turn his head in a different direction to get a much better view, for they were approaching said scene.
"Let me guess. This mission isn't simply a escorting mission, right?" K' spoke through the eyepiece, mostly because he knew Wielder wasn't with them and because he suspected that the others probably wouldn't hear him due to the sound of the wind and the engines.

Wielder thought about K's question. "No, it was always just an escort mission." He replied over the comm. You were briefed on the existing tensions to the best of our knowledge. The betrayal was impossible to foresee." In the jet, he brought up the GML Interface to note the current status. "At this point, you guys need to exfil to a local base. I'll join you once Gavin is--" He stopped when he noticed a mission update pop up onto the screen.
Satellite Imagery has confirmed invasion of hostile forces. GML Reinforcements requested. Optional. Personal Note: Gear to Wielder: There's big money in this, Wielder. I'm restricting this to intermediate rank and up only. Unless you got a private who you know can hold his own, you're gonna have second-tier minimum.
"Hey, guys. These guys decided to hire us to help defend their country. We're gonna have some reinforcements inbound after a while. This mission's optional, but big money. Looks like..." He scanned through the details to find the payment. "20k base. Not bad, eh? Listen, if you're up for it, we'll Rendezvous at Haxxors' base. Otherwise, hitch a ride back to base. As far as I'm concerned, you're all cleared for it. Wielder out."

Kain shrugged as he calmly watched the wall, finding it far more interesting then anything else at the moment. His eyes narrowed and his brow furrowed as he resisted the temptation to blink, bad sadly eventually giving in to his staring battle. His ears perked at the mention of money, his hands moving to his pistol holsters patting down Baron and Earl. " Weeelll that makes this a tad more interesting." he nodded to himself as the thought of a new silk suit, and suede boxer shorts filled his mind.
