Exodus still stood in the middle, his sword gleaming like his scales. "I'm not affiliated with the queen... not after her rise in pricing for our bones and such. I have heard the stories of old... I was even there when the prophecy was given... but you believe this creature here... you think she is it? The paladin of old to come and save us from despair? She can barely stand on her own two feet!" He was wise, but he didn't think that she would be the Paladin in the stories. He thought it would be someone much older and stronger.
Lee had an evil smile on his face. The kind of smile a serial killer gets when he finds his next target and begins contemplating how to go about his plan. "She is coming with me... and you too 'dragon.' You are correct with the pricing of you. The queen shall surely look with favor on me for bringing her such a gift!" He took a step forward, eyeing the half-human half-dragon in front of him.

Adrienna opened her eyes and looked down at lee, his voice was beginning to irritate her " you won't be doing anything to anyone again, brother." she said raising her hand and watching as the earth began to rise beneath his feet, trying to encase is feet in the earth.
she is the paladin, the queen has been watching her family since she killed queen beatrix, adrienna has already shown an affinity form earth, water and fire. the last one she needs is Air. he said to exodus telepathically.

Exodus retraced his memory to the prophecy. It is true that the Paladin would have an affinity with all four elements. Most people had two if not one or none. There was only one circumstance that a human had three... but that didn't last long for it died a few years after birth due to aging affects. He noticed her use the earth element to trap the human's feet in the ground. He withdrew his dragon self, now appearing fully human. He walked over to the human who threatened him. Using his sword to knock the katana from his hands. He put his face in front of his, "Your scent reeks of darkness. You have dwelled in there for too long. Only you can save yourself... human..."
Lee snarled at the creature in front of him, unable to move. He used his wind powers to scrape away the earth at his feet, hoping to get the most of it away so he could break free. "Oh Adrienna. You can't stop me. No one can stop me. I will obey her wishes till the day I die!"

Adrienna took a step forward " she had our parents killed, our whole village slaughtered before your eyes." she said looking at him with a mixture of sorrow and disgust, she could feel the wind whipping around her as her emotions took control of the element.
she's found it, she's discovered her control over air. felix thought as he watched her. " i feel so sorry for her, she's lost her family and home and now her brothers been tainted by the queen." he muttered as he looked down.

Lee had blown enough wind to break his legs free of the earth beneath him. He launched himself at his katana and summoned fire between his hands. Using the wind and fire he created a tornado of flames and shot it at the dragon and his sister. Using it as a distraction he fled from the scene. At least he had something to bring back to the queen. She had mastered all of the elements and was now protected by a dragon. The intel would be enough to make her happy, but not completely satisfied. He refrained from using magic till he was out of his sister's reach.
Exodus transformed into his dragon form once again and used his wings to blow away the fire. Once the fire was gone he turned to the young lady. If the queen has gone through this trouble to capture you, then you may be the paladin. However... my race is being hunted as we speak by her minions, and I do not wish to sit idly as my race dies. I will fight for my race as well as for the Paladin. He meant to say that he will do what he can to do the right thing.

Adrienna nodded at him before slumping slightly and falling to her knees on the ground, her head lolling slightly.
felix looked at exodus " she's exhausted, she only discovered her powers earlier on today when her village was attacked." he said softly as he flew down and landed on adriennas shoulder " you haev to help and protect her, she's the only hope for all of our races."

Exodus picked her up by her clothes and placed her in some softer grass. He walked back to his meal that he had been eating and picked up the dead carcass. He placed it in the clearing and had begun to eat the flesh, tearing the meat from the bone.

Felix watched as exodus lay adrienna down on a softer patch of grass and smiled as he watched him walk away. there are other enemies close by, but we have the help of the other animals in the forest. he said to exodus telepathically watching as a wolf came through the trees and sat down beside adrienna.
Adrienna lay on the ground, she was asleep after the ordeals that she had been put through that day.

Lee, using the magic of the wind, moved with even swifter speed than any normal human. He could maneuver faster, jump farther, and even fly, with proper practice. So far the most he could do was glide a mediocre distance. In no time he was at the castle of the queen. "The others should not be too far behind. That vampire should be able to get them here in no time flat." He opened the double doors to the throne room, where the queen was seated. He lowered himself to one knee and bowed his head, "My queen." He stayed till he was beckoned to rise.
Exodus continued tearing the meat till only the bones were left. He licked the bones clean and then... devoured them. They will not wish to come closer with a dragon here... They would have to e mad.

felix nodded before sighing " that's the problem a lot of the queens forces are either mad or possessed." he siad softly as he looked down at adrienna. " i am felix by the way, what's your name? it would be best if i introduce you when sdhe wakes up."
morgause looked down at lee as he entered " what is the meaning of this? where is she?" she said staring down at lee " if you do not have a good enough answer you will be punished severely.

Lee stayed in his kneeling position, "My queen... I could not capture her at this moment. She was guarded by a dragon of old and she has achieved all four elements. It is proven that she is the Paladin. I bring you this news myself, as an eyewitness." He remained motionless, waiting for her response.
You may call me Exodus. Exodus Revel, Bringer of Hope and Light, son of the great 'Tempest' Dragon and 'Huntress' Dragon of old. I am one of the few that remain. I have yet to meet another dragon in these parts. Most are in hiding, some among the humans, and others in the vast world around us. He lied down on the ground, laying his head down in front of him.

felix bowed his head slightly " i will tell her that when she wakes up, at the moment i am the only being that she will trust. especially now that her brother has been corrupted." he said softly turning his head to look at adrienna " morgause will have to pay for what she's done to all of the races, including mine humanimals are now nearlly extinct because of her."
" so she truelly is the paladin then. she is being protected by one of the dragons of old?" she said sighing slightly as she looked down at him " i want you to find a way of seperating them then bring the gilr to me. i wish to kill her myself."

"As you wish..." He stood up and walked back through the double doors. He sat in the courtyard waiting for his comrades to enter the castle to give him their new orders. My dearest sister... you will give yourself in, for you know I cannot kill you. You must die for the sake of the queen.
Well then we must strike her down swiftly if we wish to remain alive. Even though I am powerful, I am not without weakness... He began licking the blood and gore from his teeth and talons from eating moments ago.

felix nodded his head " we will need to gather forces in order to take down her army as well." he said softly " if wer don't then one of her generals will try to take over the rule of the country. he heard a moan and turned to see adrienna waking up.
Adrienna moaned and sat up slowly, seeing exodus she flinched and moved backwards before stopping when she saw he as with felix. " who are you?" she said softly " why did you help me?"

Exodus snorted, smoke rising from his nostrils, Young lady, I am a dragon. The wisest and oldest living creature to walk the earth. I have seen and heard many things that you do not even know about. I may be a beast, but I do know morality. I could not simply let you die without reason. He lifted his head and curled it down to look at her. Are you hurt, young one?
