Isabella looked at Maxus and blushed lightly when he smiled at her.She noticed the wound and pinched her nose,"Damn,I thought I healed that wound."She said,her ear twitching when he mentioned Ella,"Yeah,I saw her,she's fine I assure you."She said,smiling gently back as she tilted her head to the side.

Philleas looked deep into her eyes, entranced, with a blush painted lightly over his cheeks. "Well, theres not much to know, I'm seventeen, I'm half imp, half human. I don't really like fighting, I prefer making people laugh, and obviously I'm a sucker for a pretty face." He said squeezing her hand lightly, still smirking. "And I'm from a planet called Earth, where acceptance is hard to come by, and hate is rampant...." He shook his head. "Thats also why I joined the order of the Templar...To help..Although I fear that the few brave souls who still believe in God aren't going to be able to do much..." He said with a sigh. "But things might be a lot better by the time we get back." He said smiling reassuringly. "At least I hope they will..." He said as he clasped both of her hands in his. "Now, do you have any psycho ex-boyfriends that you want to tell me about?" He said chuckling, trying to break the ice.

Jerry remained silent. There was nothing to be said. The Hare walked down the hall and made a turn at the corner. He continued until he reached the patio. He stood outside and sat down on a lawn chair.

He only wanted time to gather his thoughts. What he would give for a piece of cake! He could almost taste it in his mouth, moist and sweet. So, his worries ceased. Cake was on his mind, delicious cake! With white frosting and a creme center!

He smiled and looked up at Ripkins. "Would you go and tell one of the servants to fetch me a piece of cake? Oh, and some tea..?"

Ella had been listening to him intently, and was shocked when he asked of past boyfriends. "Actually I've never really dated" she said, her cheek a dark bloody crimson. "My bother usually scared boys off, and when they did ask I was to busy to care" she said shaking her head sighing, then looking up at him with a smile. She burst into laughter, her eyes sparlking with humor as she looked at him. "So I don't believe you have to worry about crazy ones coming after you for holding my hand" she said winking at him smirking. "What about you, and crazy little biddies I need to worry about popping up from the Pool of Tears to come save their man" she asked him as she playfully nudged his foot with her own. "Because if so I warn you now, I will kick their butts" she said as she smiled with glee that everything seemed to be less awkward.

Maxus looked up at her, and sighed with the fact he now knew his sister was okay. "She just went to get tea or something" he thought to herself as he finished cleaning up Isabelles leg. "Now then, your leg should be healed within the next hour or so" he said quietly looking into her eyes smiling. "And thank you for telling me where my sister was, it makes me feel much better" he said as he leaned against the tree looking at her. "Now please deary do be more careful, we wont always be around to help you" he said with a soft smile on his face as he looked at her. Suddenly he got an idea, and grinned as he stood stright and walked right over to her. "How about I teach you some things to help you out when we're not around" he said, his eyes changing from black to a light shade of violet. "I would be happy to teach you all you could want to learn so you don't get hurt" he said smiling sweetly.

The Hare quietly waited for Ripkins' return. When the man returned, Jerry looked up and said, "Thank you." He motioned to the chair across from him on the opposite side of the table. "Why don't you sit down? You shant be standing all day, I hope," Jerry expressed, recalling a time when he had to stand for hours for ruly conduct.

What a wild hare was I, he remarked to himself, reflecting on a time long past. It seemed like the other day he had just entered the State. The truth was harsh. It had been fifteen years since then. He became lost in his own thoughts, but then became aware again.

"Ripkins, you are indeed a good man. Don't ever let anyone tell you different," he said, and laughed lightly.

Ripkins sat down as directed. Ever obedient and respectful of The Hare's wishes. Though the man's next words caught him off guard. He looked down, confused as to why he would say that to him. Ripkins had been the one that had gotten them in trouble essentially, yet he was a good man? Hmmm, quite an odd thought. A secret agent that was good. New concept to him. "Thank... You," he replied, caught off guard, but showing it as least as was possible.
