The earth was torn open by the vicious electric-tornado dragons. The ground rumbled and cracked, spewing debris everywhere. The demon-vine network either retreated or was destroyed.
It was at this point that Azure's barrier of wind was struck by a spear of pure chakra, fired by Chaos...

The tornadoes dragged up into their wind vortex all the vines that were on the upper layer of the battlefield. The ground under Chaos buckled as he fell down to his knees, yet he kept an eyes on Azure. It was almost as if Chaos refused to let Azure out of his sight for some reason.
The spear of chakara hit the barrier and seemed to pierce through it like butter. It was no ordinary attack that was for sure. It felt like it was connected to both Chaos and Azure, yet separate at the same time.

The audience waited with baited breath to see what the chakra spear would do.

The spear of chakara was vastly different from the chakara cannon. While the chakara cannon would explode into massive energy when it collided this spear would instead pierce through Azure like a bullet. Cutting a solid hole in his body and continue traveling. Yet that wasn't all! Unlike the chakara cannon Chaos could control this spear, having it curve and arc to have it redirect and the attack. There was only one condition, Chaos had to keep at least one eye on his target at all times, otherwise the spear would vanish.

The spear penetrated Azure's strong aerial defense and punched a hole through his shoulder, causing the former Kage to yell out in pain. Blood poured out of the wound for a moment before the air itself sealed the breach. Azure fell to the ground, striking it softly as the winds surrounding him cushioned the blow.
Azure stood there, half-conscious, his eyes wide. He was held up by an invisible force, as if the air element itself was supporting him. However, such an attack was well beyond his ability to counter.
He breathed heavily, trying to right himself.
