My name is Anna, and I am..nineteen now? I don't keep track well, I tell time by snows. (I'm a little weird like that.)
I live in Minnesota and go to a windy college called Gustavus that most people around here call the 'tornado school.' Apparently there are many of them, but I still have yet to see one, which does dissapoint me so. I'll fetch myself an English major, and then become a book editor if not a writer. (If I can't spell myself at least I know when I spell things wrong.)

In any case I am a soccer fanatic. This doesn't mean I am good, I just love it. Just like nordic skiing and badminton...and tennis if done on rollerblades.
I am an avid fantasy reader! Scifi, too, but I had a bad run with a few authors and now focus away from it...This Alien Shore may have tempted me back, though. If you know any books trade titles with me now!

I also game...computer, boxes, or board, and foam swords. So if anyone plays halo, craft, diablo, morrowind (not online, but soon,) mario cart, or any other feasable online thing I'm game. For now everyone should check out Kingdom of Loathing, though, it rocks.

Fact: I have spent every summer bar one since seventh grade working or volunteering in a library. This last year has driven me crazy. If you need to know anything about a library, I can most likely figure it out.
I also have worked at the MN renaissance festival for the past four years, I'm on the rose cart so feel free to stop by, I'm the girl in green. My other job was as a summer camp counselor, that was great fun. Oh! I climb, too, a benifit of working at a climbing wall place. I like to amas mutilpe jobs at once if you haven't guessed already.

This'll be my first post as a member of this guild-typer thigner, so it seems right to put it in here.

Name: Tom (not Thomas, Tommy, or any other variantion xd . KISS)
Age: 27 (holy s**t I'm an old man! Actually be 28 in a few days.)
Location: Pennsylvania, USA, somewhere near Philly.

Stuff about me. Um..I'm a dispatcher for the local cable TV/internet company, and I primarily deal with system outages and crap. It's not that glorious of a job, I get a lot of stress and a moderatley decent hourly wage, the benefits (free TV and internet) are always good though.

Hobbies? Um...the net..friggin duh...art...I have a crappy DA site if you wanna laugh at me. I also have a blog. I even update them from time to time. Really! Anime...um..I can't even BEGIN to list the anime I like. My current fixes are Sokyuu no Fafner, DearS, and Naruto. (I could KISS the whoever thought up the headband thinger for Gaia)

Education? Um...I are teh smart. Or something. I'm what they call in applications "some college". Meaning I spent most of it drinking, screwing around, and generally wasting my and the government's money. Twas fun, and I learned a lot more out of class then in I think. Sadly, I didn't learn much in class, so now I'm screwed and stuck in a career rut. Working on that. Really >.> There's a brain behind all this stupid, somewhere. I think. Sometimes I think I lost it in a beer bong binge or summat.

Personality-wise, I'm a jerk. plain and simple. I'm surly, short-tempered with ignorant people, HATE people who act stupiud because they're too lazy to learn, and generally can't deal with people who willingly reject knowledge. I wanna know EVERYTHING..I can't imagine other people not wanting to understand more then they do.

I can ramble on all day, but I won't. Oh and Lasreaine, you just got 50,000 cool points for being a C.S. Freidman fan. That book is incredible. Go get your hands on the Coldfire trilogy. NOW.
