don't feel too bad, smash, it was lucky chance that the ride happened to stop near a 10,000 point target that he hit about eight times. the second time we rode, he was only at about 200k. I didn't fare nearly as well--I can get about 100k pretty consistently in Orlando, but I only got between 50-60k in Cali.

we did email our scores, but they're on our school accounts, so I'll access them when spring break's over. But I did get a pic of Stan's score on the scoreboard. biggrin

I know, I totally can't wait for Soarin' to open out here! You guys are so lucky to have it first. We're wondering how they're going to present it, though, since the film obviously lands in Disneyland...you can tell it's not Orlando.

I've never been to Disneyland. crying You should see how much I hyperventilate everytime those commercials come on. Small children finding Jasmine in that palace-y thing. How much would I like...jump her.

I actually have a funny dream about going to Disneyland [kind of]. It was like this huge waterpark Disney McDonalds. I remember going down a water slide and seeing Jasmine and trying to get off so I could go say hi and not being able to fit through the fence. And then we were in the gift shop and there was this bench with one of those Ronald McDonald statues sitting on it. You've seen those, yeah? Well this one didn't have any clothes on. So I went to ask the cashier lady 'Why doesn't he have clothes on?' and she freaks out all like

'OH NO! We forgot to put them on this morning'

And then I woke up because it was getting too weird.

I am going there for a couple of days in two weeks. I get to play in a performance at a festival on the way there and I also get to play in a performance in Disneyland

I just came back from Disneyland, and let me tell you...woah. Disney. Freakin'. Rocks my socks. Seriously, I have never had so much fun in my LIFE! I actually felt like a kid again. And being there with my whole family just made it all the better.

My favorite rides: Buzz Lightyear, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pinoccio, Soarin' Over California, and Grizzly River Run. 3nodding

Sounds like you had a lot of fun! ^_^

I've been to Disneyland so much ever since I was (am still) growing up, and I say it's such a great place.

There's so much about the place that makes it special. . . The whole park is beautiful, it's family-fun, and I guess I can say that Walt Disney's presence is felt all throughout. . . definitely magic.

Though the park is fairly expensive (I can understand, though. Fireworks nearly every night, Fantasmic nearly every night, thousands of employee payments, ride maintenance, and the electrical bill) I think it's understandable, and the big crowding issues in the summer months, I still think it's awesome!

Same here. . . too bad the Haunted Mansion movie bombed. I felt the story of the ride itself would've been a great movie, but oh well.

Soarin' Over California, when I went last week, was actually really popular. The ride is still awesome, even though it doesn't give respects to the fact that it's in California. . .
