Relaxing now, Blade nodded while looking at the area Riyo had been shot. He wasn't really sure how quickly she could heal so he didn't really know if there was anything he could do to help her out there.
"Yeah, probably a bruise here or there but I'm fine. Do you need any help patching it up?"
Now glancing towards the Tangrowth, he noticed that there was a Combusken in the room. Blinking at this, he soon realized that Fou-Gai had evolved sometime during all the chaos. Aside from that, both his pokemon seemed a little shaken with the whole situation. Between Blade being threatened to be killed, Riyo on the verge of getting raped and was seemingly killed, it was just one wild night.
Walking over towards them, Blade patted the Combusken on the head reassuringly before reaching down to pick up what seemed to be the Tangrowth's pokeball. He couldn't quite tell if it was dead or not, but it shouldn't matter as it was going to be recalled anyway.

Riyo looked down at the bullet hole in thought. "I might." She mumbled, eye twitching at the blood soaked towel. "But first, I'm getting dressed. I guess we can use the towel as a rag to clean up..." Cause those stains sure as hell weren't coming out.
"Y-you might wanna do the same." Through all the struggles, she wasn't sure how they'd managed to stay on... But thank God they did?
After the excitement, Ri-chan promptly rubbed up against her trainers leg and purred, extremely happy to see that she was alive. In the meanwhile, Calamity marched over to the now deceased man and stared. For what reason he wouldn't say. But he appeared to be bothered somewhat.
Not sparing any time, Riyo gave the skitty a soft pat on the head and retrieved her clothes from her backpack. Then, without a word, she walked back over to Blade, put her hands on his shoulders, and turned him around to face the wall. "One moment."
She didn't take her time, though maybe she should've. The more she moved, the more it hurt. But in less than a minute, she was fully dressed and sitting down propped against the bed. "Alright. I'm done." She sighed out and tossed the bloody towel over at the puddle where she'd been 'playing dead'.

"Yeah.. " muttered Blade. He had almost forgotten the whole half-nakedness thanks to that little spiel they went through. Once it was ok to turn around, he set the gun down and grabbed his clothes.
"Well, your turn to look away," he said before quickly throwing on his clothes. When he was all dressed, he walked over towards the body and stared down for a moment. At least the guy didn't seem like he was too heavy, "Gouku stay in the cabin. Fou-Gai, come with me."
The chimchar blinked, but then scampered over towards Riyo to see if she was alright. The fire chicken, on the other hand, made his way over towards the door, waiting for his trainer to come.
"I'll be right back..." said the man as he lifted up the body partially to head outside.
Not much longer, he and the Combusken returned, having incinerated the remains as much as they possibly could. Looking rather weary, he let out a sigh as he leaned against the wall of the cabin. Glancing down, he noticed the open briefcase that belonged to the man. Inside of it was a number of ... objects. Sneering at it, he kicked the thing lightly to knock the lid down.
"By the way Riyo... please don't ever pull anything like that again if you can help it.." he said as he looked at the pool of blood that had formed when she fell.

Riyo was too tired to turn around. So, she just lifted up a hand and covered her eyes instead. She wouldn't peek. As much as the little voice in her head told her to.
When he started talking to his Pokemon, Riyo assumed that the coast was clear, and she opened up her eyes in time to see the dead body being plucked off the ground. She gave a nod as Blade told her he'd be back and reached for her backpack to retrieve her first aid kit.
As Blade walked in, Riyo was sitting in the same place with her shirt partially up, holding tweezers to her wound. There was a hand towel in her mouth, probably to prevent her from biting down too hard.
But there was something strange. That machine was... Gone. All that remained was a scar.
She raised an eyebrow and spit the hand towel out as he spoke to her again. "Alright Blade. Next time I'll just get raped and you can watch." She shot out. It wasn't because it was mad, it was because... Well, she'd been just as scared as he was.

When his gaze returned to Riyo, he noted that the strange machine the Rockets had implanted into her was gone. That was a good sign, he thought, but it made him wonder when and how she managed to get it out. Right now it really wasn't a good time to ask about it though.
Flinching at her remark, Blade averted his eyes from her. "I wouldn't let it happen.." he uttered before shaking his head. Even if she didn't provide that opening earlier, he would have charged at Dylan. Then again, if she hadn't at least grabbed the gun, he may have been the one with the bullet wound.
"Do you need help with that?" he asked while staring at the wound in her side.

Wouldn't? It almost did if he'd forgotten. "Look Blade..." She started and sighed, eyes lowering to the ground. "I can take a few bullets, knife wounds, or even some burns... But I just can't handle anymore emotional scars. Physical wounds heal... The mental ones, well... They never go away. So if it takes a few holes in my body to prevent you from dying or me experiencing the only emotionally damaging thing I've had the pleasure of avoiding, I'm going to do it." Simple as that.
At his offer, she looked down at the bullet hole and cringed. "If you aren't too squeamish, I guess you could..." With that, Riyo lifted up her hand and offered him the tweezers. "Think you can get the bullet out?"

She had a point there. Though one thing he didn't quite think about was what she said about preventing him from dying. In a sense, she may as well have saved him by taking the hit herself. Lowering his gaze at that, he didn't really have anything to say in return. Though, he looked back up as she asked if he could take the bullet out.
To the squeamish remark, he was about to say something about having practically blown someone's brains out a few moments ago, but held his tongue on it.
"I can definitely try," he said while making his way over and taking the tweezers. Blade was no surgeon, but he figured years of experience with picking locks and such would at least help a little here. Kneeling down so that he could get a better look as to where the slug was, he gritted his teeth while carefully reaching in to grab it. It definitely wasn't a pretty sight to see; that was certain.
"Alright, gonna go ahead and pull it out..." he said while attempting to get the bullet out as carefully as he could.

Riyo quickly grabbed the hand towel again and bit down. She hated this part. The feel of the tweezers inside the wound made her eyes water. Her hands grasped at the ground for something to hold onto, but there was nothing. She closed her eyes tightly, little drops of salt water leaving a trail on her cheeks.
When it was finally out, the tension subsided a little, she removed the hand towel from her mouth and administered some alcohol to it.
"FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF...." Was all she could muster as she rubbed it across the wound.
With that done, she cleared the tears from her eyes and let out an exasperated sigh. "Alright... I'm good..."

Blade couldn't help but cringe at least a little as she rubbed alcohol onto the wound. Disinfecting was never a pleasant thing to feel, but it was needed. Standing up straight, he wondered if there was anything else they could do about the wound.
"Do you need stitches or anything?" he asked while looking at the bullet he now had. He really didn't know how quickly she healed, so he wasn't sure if anything needed to be done to keep it from opening and bleeding. If she really needed it and they had no other means, he could try to cauterize it... but that was bound to hurt a good deal. Not to mention he was already tired from using so much fire in a relatively short period of time so he may end up messing up with a feat like that.

"N-no. It should be okay..." Riyo said while reaching for the gauze. She was done for tonight. No more pain, no more fear, no more embarrassment. It really was too much already. As she began wrapping, she noticed the briefcase. "... What's in that thing, anyways?"

"If you say so."
Looking towards the briefcase, Blade frowned some before replying, "Earlier I just saw some... tools of his trade I guess you could say. There might be other things in there though."
With a sigh, he sat at the edge of the bed, and was soon joined by Gouku. The Chimchar still seemed fairly concerned for the two but he was slowly reverting back to his usual self for the most part now that it seemed everything was going to be alright.
"I swear there's something familiar about that guy though.." he mumbled to himself as he recalled the tug of familiarity when he first saw him enter.

Tools of the... Trade?
Very carefully, she reached for the briefcase and lifted it into her lap. Ri-chan, who was also semi-curious, trotted over to her side and made herself comfortable.
Riyo's eyes widened as she opened the briefcase and saw the contents. "Christ..." she mumbled, her face getting red again. "Disgusting.." she spat and pushed the briefcase away.

Seeing Riyo inch towards the briefcase out of curiousity, Blade wondered if he should he should stop her. But before he could say anything, it was too late as she opened up the briefcase. Shifting a bit uncomfortably, he nodded to her slowly. However, while the thing was still open, he caught sight of a picture he hadn't noticed earlier. It was Dylan standing by another man and a woman.
And that was when it hit him.
"Holy s**t; I think he's the guy I was supposed to steal the safe from..." he stated, shocked at the idea of it. Now he was really curious of what was in that safe. At the same time, the idea disturbed him, now that he knew what sort of guy Dylan was.

"S-seriously?" Riyo looked back at Blade and coughed. "Would you really want anything he had for a prolonged period of time?"
Ugh... She had to wonder how the guy even got ahold of the items in the first place..
"You're not going tonight, are you?" Riyo asked, almost out of the blue.

"I'm really not sure now... I can only hope he never got whatever was inside the thing," he replied with a frown. Several questions circulated through his mind such as why the man wanted it, but as of now there really wasn't any way to know for sure. But the other man that was in that picture was his client, so Dylan must have known him in the least.
"Tonight? No. There's still a ways to go and now there's really no need to try and break in at night. Unless he has some roomates or something along those lines."
Who would want to room with Dylan was anyone's guess, but there was always the chance out there...
"I'll probably go in the morning."
