Nat pulled up a chair and quickly order a 'Tea Toddy' from the waitress. "I'm Nat Violetchanter. I'm here because I can't concentrate at home and I have so much work to do. What about you guys?"

Alina decided to head back towards the Inn, hoping the girl would be there and not in trouble. As she got closer her necklace started to glow. She stopped dead and looked around. There was danger somewhere nearby. She swiftly pulled out her dagger, ready for anything.

"We're travelling! Wanna see a cool trick?!" Spell bounced up and down in her seat. Without an answer she got out of her chair and looked at Li. "Can I, can I?!?!" She begged. Li nodded, smiling at her ditsy sister.
"Just watch this." She told Nat as her sister giggled and took off her sweater, revealing a short sleeve with two rips in the back.
"Penna!" She shouted and within a moment two delicate wings burst from her back, flappign and holding her in mid-air. "Pretty cool, eh?" She giggled again, flying as high as the ceiling would let her and circled around. She flew threw an open window and out into the air. As she was happily twirling around in the breeze, she saw someone standing like a statue.
"Hey! Are you okay? Your necklace is glowing, is that normal? Why does it do that?" She babbled, circling closer to the stranger.
Meanwhile Li struck up a conversation with Nat. "Teacher?" She guessed.

"Shush" Alina said sharply. Who the heck is this girl? She continued looking around. She noticed the closer she got to the shadows the brighter her necklace got. Well found the danger, she thought as she waited.

Arina strugled with the figure to no avail. he was so strong. Thinking quickly she tried to reach for her sword. her fingers just barly touched it but she couldnt grab hold enough to draw it. without a weapon she knew her chances droped. flailing she reached for anything she could grab hold of but found nothing. silently she fought on with her attacker.

Spell nodded and put a finger over her lips to show she understood, silently lowering herself to the ground. What was that shadow she was staring at so intensely? It looked kind of like.. it was moving? Naw that can't be it.. She shook her head.
Meanwhile Li continued with their conversation.
"I never really went to school." She confessed, spinning a pencil round and round. "But I'm smart.. ish.I read and learn things from travelling. So what do you teach?" Li rambled, beginning to sense an uncomfortable aura forming outside. She fidgeted.

Nat placed the book on the table. "I teach pretty much everything. Mostly older teenagers." She waved a paper in the air. "Right now it is the proper use of teleportation."

"Sweet. Well I don't know, would it be sweet? I mean teenagers are usually pretty.. uh.. obnoxious, you know? And they're kinda hard to teach, i would imagine.. I. Uh..It feels kinda weird all of the sudden doesn't it??" Li rambled on, fidgeting more and more and looking oddly nervous. The aura from outside was oppressing, more intense. All the while Spell was outside, beginning to wonder if she should jump into the shaodw to see what it would do..

Alina started slowly towards the shadow, her necklace slowly getting brighter. As she reached the edge her necklace exploded with a blinding light. Through the glare Alina caught a brief glance of the girl, she was being held by someone else. She tossed her dagger, striking the assailent in the shoulder.

Spell sprung into action, realizing that the shadow was indeed moving, and apparently dangerous.
"Lumen!" She yelled, casting her hand out and illuminating the surrounding area in a soft but strong light.
Meanwhile Li saw the sudden source of light and went outside, after apologizing to Nat.
"What's going on?" Li demanded, seeing her sister and a couple other figures, two of which were fighting.

Nat sighed, before lugging her book up and moving outside plus her drink. "What -sip- is going on -sip-?"

just as the dager hit the figure arina pulled away and broke free. Quickly she turned and pulled out her sword ready for a fight.

Alina pulled out a second dagger from up her sleeve. She started closer towards the girl, not noticing that others had come upon the scene. "Get into some trouble I see?" she said watchign the figure carefully, waiting for it to strike.
