Xandra grinned when she saw the others. She was already in her gym clothes (she got quite a head start) and stretching before class. "Somehow, I thought that...you don't look like an Ulrich to me...I just noticed, do you guys plan your schedules together or something? You've been in all my classes today."

She didn't expect an answer, as it seemed almost obvious...though if they did, why didn't they include Yumi or Ulrich? She shrugged, not bothering to think about it anymore and focusing on what they'd learn today. She remembered that gym classes, besides doing the normal running, jumping, and climbing, liked to teach various sports. So what was the flavor of this week...?

"Archery," she said to herself, noticing the safety-tip arrows and bows being carried by, "I've always been a little interested in it...Hey, shouldn't you guys be getting ready? Class is starting soon; you don't want to be late."

(OOC: Yeah, I'm kind of setting something up. Hope you don't mind.)

Xandra went into the class, looking forward to her turn with the bow. She sat down in that group, watching Jim fumble with the bow and safety arrows. She chuckled slightly as he finally got one fired...about ten feet short. She fought her impulse to correct him, since his temper was infamous.

She stood up for her turn at one of the multiple targets. She knocked her arrow, pulling it back and narrowing her eyes at the bullseye. As she looked at it, aiming her arrow for the center, she suddenly saw it: the symbol from her dream, the symbol on the shadow, was right in front of her. In her alarm, she let go before she was ready, missing the target entirely and almost sending it into the wall.

She dropped the bow, unable to shake the symbol from her mind. Jim walked up next to her, placing his hand on her shoulder. "You okay, kid?" He asked, "Maybe you should get yourself checked out..."

Xandra shook her head enthusiastically in response. "No, sir...I just got startled. I'll be alright." To show her conviction, she immediately picked up the bow and knocked another arrow. She aimed, but the symbol came to her again. No, she thought to herself, you can't back down...you can't let this dream ruin your new life! You have to fight!

She let the arrow fly, hitting the target in the middle of the bullseye with a smile. It was just a target again...the symbol was gone. Still, why did it enter her mind in the first place? She usually was capable of separating dream and reality...what was so different about this? She had to find out...

Xandra blushed slightly, holding the bow in front of her, "Goodness, you flatter me. All you need is the right trajectory and force, and a little motivation...you're into Archery, Odd? Here, you take a shot!"

She shoved the bow towards him, looking around for a spare arrow. She kind of liked archery, but long-range wasn't exactly her style. While she had conquered it for now, that symbol still hung in her mind, in her darkest fears...and it looked a little too much like an archery target for comfort.

As she finally found one, she held it out to Odd, the point towards her. "Let's see if you can hit it, too," she said as if it were a competition, "If you do, I'll let you have my dessert tonight."

Xandra nodded, thoroughly impressed with Odd's prowess. "See? I told you...anyway, I'm as good as my word. Tonight at dinner, my dessert belongs to you. It'll be nice not to sit alone..."

She didn't know why, but she was drawn to this group. All seemed well...they were kind to her and accepted her readily enough, but there was some sort of barrier separating them. Maybe she was reading too much into it...after all, it was her first day. She had already found five friends (but only three she met), and had dinner plans. The day had turned out well so far, with the exception of that dream...

Speaking of which, she found her memo pad, jotting the numbers from her dream before she could forget them again.

Xandra followed behind quickly, realizing she was still in her gym clothes. However, she carried the duffel bag with her normal clothes along with her. Next time, she reminded herself, change BEFORE placing bets with fellow students...

As she walked behind Aelita, she glanced down at her schedule. Much to her dismay, her water bottle had leaked on it, running the ink for her next class. "Aelita...where are we going? My schedule had a little accident..."

Xandra suddenly found herself being pushed out of the way, landing to the ground with a thud and stirring up some dust. Coughing a little, she saw the branch on the ground between herself and Aelita.

"Um, thanks," she said with a smile, still regaining her bearings, "And who's 'he'? Is that what you were talking about earlier...?"

She sat up, brushing dust off herself and fixing her headband. "I'm sorry if I seem like a snoop, but you guys started whispering during our morning class...I thought you said my name, but it sounded different...is that who's attacking me with branches?"

((...I just HAD to leave for Florida on the 23rd.
