The younger twin dragged his technician and brother to a vacant table and plopped them down in the nearest seats, eventually walking over to the other side of the table and seating next to his brother, who happily licked away at his treat. By now its white color had now turned a slight pink due to the coloration slipping off of the sprinkles (which had already been eaten off by Rainer).
Propping an elbow onto the plastic surface, Caine watched his comrade munch away at his ice cream. “I’ll never understand people’s penchant for eating sweets,” he mused as he sighed and strewed as arms across the table.
Kang Ling briefly stared at Caine before she nodded at Aryana. “Mm. I-It’s d-d-delicious,” she whispered before consuming another spoonful.
Rainer nodded his agreement. “Definitely! Ooooh! Caramel? Maybe I should try that one next time,” he excitedly answered, already planning for the next time he would visit the shop. Then he grinned back at Derek. “The flavors here are awesome, right? Better than Baskin Robins or those other ice cream stores!”

Glancing over at Caine as he commented on sweets, Andre gave a rather impassive shrug. "Just one of life's mysteries I guess, but sweets aren't too bad I think."
"I'm not sure what it is myself, but I definitely don't have anything against the sweeter tasting foods," added Aryana as she licked at her ice cream, pausing for a moment as she found one of the raisins in the mix, "I gotta say Derek, going for ice cream was a really nice idea."
For a moment, the Technician forgot about that part, and as a result he seemed to hesitate as he recalled what happened exactly. Once it hit him, he grinned, shooting a quick look at Caine briefly before nodding at Aryana.
"Ah! Yeah, it was wasn't it?" he grinned before looking towards Rainer, "Definitely! Or Ben &Jerry's, though they got some nice flavors too. Can't say they top this place though."

The younger sibling watched his brother with a bored gaze, right hand curled into a fist and propping up his face. He sighed. “It’s just my peculiar taste buds, is all,” Caine answered with a grimace. A second sigh and he banged his forehead against the table, oblivious to the pain. “I’m taking a nap. Wake me up when you’re all done or something.” Then he was out like a light.
Rainer and Kang Ling briefly glanced at him before continuing to consume their ice cream. “As for me, I love love love sweet foods!” chirped Rainer, throwing in his opinion. “Oh! Or that Coldstone Creamery place! They’ve got giant servings, but they aren’t that bad. This place is way better though, I think.”
Kang nodded her head, taking the final scoop of her ice cream, leaving the bowl empty. “I-It is n-n-n-ice h-here . . .”

A short silence fell upon the trio as Caine practically went face down onto the table and passed out right before everyone. The twins were puzzled, while Derek was a little more curious and confused. He wondered what it was exactly that made the guy so sleepy all the time. It wasn't that long ago that he saw Rainer carrying his brother... who was asleep then as well. But the thought soon blew over as the topic of ice cream came back into play.
"Oh yeah, definitely," agreed Aryana, nodding along the way, "And Baskin Robins doesn't hold anything on it either. Though they do have a bit of the classic touch to them..."
While the others spoke, Andre had finished off his treat with one final bite of the cone. It was definitely good, but he couldn't really say it was one of his favorite flavors. Once that was all done with, he just leaned back in his chair and listened to the conversation going on. Not much later, Derek had finished his as well, and he was looking rather satisfied now.
"That was really good," Derek commented as he looked over towards Rainer, "What flavor did you have again?"

Glancing over at Derek, Kang Ling noticed the puzzled look on his face as he stared at Caine. She sympathized with him. When the girl had first met the pair and moved in with them, she was baffled at the younger boy’s penchant for sleeping anytime and anywhere. His uncanny ability to spontaneously wake up when needed was also a surprise. However, she later concluded that this was probably because Caine happened to be a light sleeper or wasn’t actually sleeping, but just closing his eyes and resting.
Turning back to the conversation, she nodded her agreement. “Th-This i-is the b-b-best p-place f-for i-ice c-cream, I-I th-th-think,” she murmured.
“It was Triple Choco Chip. With sprinkles!” the blond answered happily.
Noticing that everyone began to finish their ice cream one by one, Rainer grinned and stood up, ushering Caine to wake up. Said-twin yawned and wrapped his arms around Rainer’s neck. Kang Ling took this as her cue to also leave. “Well, today was really fun! We should have another outing like this another day!"

"Oh sweet! I'll have to try that out next time!" exclaimed the Technician before watching as Rainer nudged his twin awake. Seeing that they were getting ready to leave, he went ahead and stood up as well. As he did this, he licked off some remnants of ice cream that managed to get onto his finger sometime earlier.
"That'd be pretty cool," replied Andre as he and his twin got ready to head on out as well.
"Definitely. And it was great meeting you three today," added Aryana with a smile. Despite the fact that they managed to make Kang cry earlier on, it was a good day over all she believed.
"So I guess we'll see you guys later then?"

Rainer laughed, beaming at Derek. “Do try! It was delicious! Especially with the sprinkles. A piece of heaven, I say!” he replied. Although he had to admit that the flavor was delightful, the French boy was also curious to try out the many other types of ice cream on the menu. Even if he could say that this was the best one he had so far, there were still so many other flavors to taste test.
Kang Ling politely bowed towards the other trio. “I-It w-was n-n-nice m-meeting y-y-you,” she said with a shy smile.
The group of Shibusen students began to slowly make their way to the door. As Rainer adjusted Caine’s weight on his back, he nodded his head. “Of course! I can’t wait for the next time we meet already,” he answered.
And then they were off, walking back to their small home.
