Megatron simply whacked Starscream upside the head causing the Seeker to growl at him again. "There are other ways to punish you." He stated in a feral grin as he turned his back to Starscream and moved in closer to Soundwave. "We will all continue the search together, if we don't more traitorous, untrustworthy creatures will wander off and plot." Megatron continued down the path with Soundwave close behind like the good little officer he was.

Soundwave and Starscream both were surprised at how little of a beating Starscream had received; but unlike Soundwave Starscream knew why Megatron had chosen a different action and he was utterly pissed! How dare Megatron threaten him once again with the demotion that hung over his head every day!
Though, Megatron had also meant other things, Starscream didn't want to admit to himself that he was jealous of the idea that Megatron would go to Soundwave over him! The mech was always the same monotone, boring that it would probably be unsatisfying.

Soundwave was completely unaware of the little game his Lord was playing; he merely acted out of loyalty when he followed the other Streya, the metal of his feet clanking softly against the grass. He was aware that his boots and wings were both strange, but it made him feel more comfortable and close to home - the same way the little surgical mask did.
"Coordinates of crash site and possible projection recorded." He informed the other two after a moment of walking in what Soundwave had imprinted as the wrong direction.

Megatron arched a brow and turned to Soundwave, if the split-spark already knew where to go it would be easier to simply send him off to do his work in peace. "Acknowledged, go to the possible sites and do a survey and return to the base immediately afterword." He ordered before Soundwave made a little bow and moved to hurry off into the trees.
"As for you, your little outburst earlier was childish." Megatron hissed and Starscream flinched back away from him expecting the beating, but none came... Megatron was sincere about the other methods of punishment.

That evening when Soundwave returned to the base he expected to see Starscream strung out for treacherous words, but the Seeker was merely grouching up in a tree... That was odd, but the communications officer knew better than to pry into that strange affair.
He continued on noting that Starscream had hopped down to follow him. "Assistance needed?" He asked slowly watching as Starscream crossed his arms over his chest in a huff. "Query repeat?" Soundwave didn't like associating with the Seeker more than necessary.

"No, I don't need you to repeat yourself you monotone piece of slag." Starscream hissed watching as Soundwave's visor flashed a little in irritation. "Did you find anything? What of my trine?" Staracream asked with a frown, he didn't want to be left alone with them, especially after he knew what Megatron had planned for this evening...

"Status of others: unsure. Proof of Crash: 87%. Likelihood of locating; 81%." Soundwave droned on to the second in command as Megatron stepped into the room as well. "Statistics repeat?" He asked his lord turning his back to Starscream who instantly growled at the action.

"No, it is not necessary, I heard you." Megatron replied rubbing his forehead when he noticed that Screamer was making faces at Soundwave behind his back. It was the most imbecilic thing he had seen in ages.
"What did I tell you Starscream? Your childish behavior will not be tolerated! I will tie you up and let that pink muffin beat you like a pinata if you don't ship up." Megatron hissed amused at the look of horror that swept across the Seeker's face; it was utterly amusing he was so frightened of that pink idiot.

"Autobots: 1 confirmed case found." Soundwave interrupted in a slow manner before the irritation in the room escalated to an all out brawl. "Designation; Bumblebee." He informed after gaining both mech's attention.

"Oh, the little runt?" Megatron grunted, not really interested in the small fry. They could be eliminated with a flick of his wrist. "Not a concern, eliminate him if necessary, otherwise he is ignorable... I only want to be informed of confirmed threats." He ordered and Soundwave curtly nodded but Starscream shrugged, hands on his hips again.

"And who do you consider a confirmed threat oh mighty leader? Or is Soundwave the only worthy toy to listen to your commands?" Starscream snapped, unable to move in self preservation at the moment; not with Soundwave here, he wouldn't cower or beg and look like a fool in front of his competition.

"The pinata threat is still active Starscream." Megatron warned as he pushed the smaller Streya against the wall, delighting in the undignified squawk the younger failed to manage to stifle.
"You're dismissed, return to the owner's camp or rest in a tree for all I care." Megatron hissed and moved away from Starscream to walk into the other room, Soundwave following obediently, not exactly knowing what the warlord had planned for him that evening.

Starscream flushed with rage and hurled insults at his Lord's retreating back before he stomped off in a fluster of "how dare he"s and "that rust-bucket b*****d"s; waving his arms about like an over-energized idiot.
He refused to return to the owner's camp so he made himself comfortable in a tree just outside, still muttering death threats and insults as he was lulled into sleep.

The next morning Starscream sat perched on the entrance grinning like a Cherise cat; while he was irritated that Megatron had taken that damn drone with him to the bedroom, he wasn't going to miss out on a chance to heckle the communications officer.
When Soundwave finally limped outside Starscream's grin grew even wider if possible and he hopped down from his perch to stand in Soundwave's path. "Oh, so there's the new little pet? Did you take care to lick the master's boots? Or did he make sure too make you so sore you couldn't."
Starscream would never let anyone who said it live, but he was certainly a catty b***h.

Soundwave's expression was difficult for Starscream to figure out, but if he could see the mech's eyes and mouth he would be able to see the communications officer was not pleased with the Seeker. "Desist useless banter." Soundwave ordered, though it really had no meaning as unfortunately the hobot in front of him was a higher rank.
