::Eliza goes over her notes from that day's class - she forgot what it was called? In the United States itd be considered English - here with those speak it - learning it - as a second lanuage, she used the translation time to catch up on the rest of the work the class required::
::if it seemed confusing it was -- while she enjoyed the creative writing part, catching up with the rest of the class who had known most of this stuff before - using it as a review or study hour - would be ahead of her::
