Edward walked with the rest of the Cullens to lunch. He took his seat at their normal table. The name Bella was in everyone's thoughts. He scanned the room and then looked at the wall. He tried to drown everyone's thoughts out.
Emmett sat down next to Rose. He sighed and picked up an apple, throwing it up into the air and then catching it.

"Who are they?" Bella asked hinting towards the Cullens.

Alice sat between Jasper and Edward. She smiled sympathetically at Jasper, "Its almost over." she cooed. Then she smiled at Edward, "Having a good day?"

Jessica smiled at Bella and looked towards where she was motioning. "Oh those are the Cullens. They are the foster kids of Dr. and Mrs. Cullen. They are kind of weird because they are like together together. The small dark haired girl is Alice and she is really weird, She is with Jasper the blonde one sitting next to her that always looks like he is in pain. The blonde girl is Rosalie and she is with Emmett who is sitting on the other side of Alice." Jessica said.
Angela leaned forward. "Dr.Cullen is like this fosterdad/matchmaker. Its kind of cool. Maybe he will adopt me" she said smiling.

Edward glanced at Alice, smiling. Already, as normal, the Cullens were asked about. "I guess I am... Nothing really new other than the new girl. He couldn't help but roll his eyes.

Jessica smiled "Oh thats Edward Cullen. He totally hot but apparently none of the girls here are good enough for him. Not like i care or anything but its totally not worth even trying to date him. He doesn't date" she said thinking back to when she had asked him and he flat out rejected her before she even got a word out.

Edward listened in on Jessica's mind. Mean things about Bella filled her mind. For some odd reason he felt an odd reason to protect the girl from these thoughts. He sighed and decided to listen in on the girl's thoughts. He turned and looked back at the wall. He tried to search out her thoughts, most people's thoughts matched their voices for finding them wasn't hard. He heard Mike's, Angela's, and everyone else around the girl. He tried to hear her but he got nothing. He tried over and over, but still heard nothing. A small wave of panic washed over him.

Jessica sighed. It looks like Bella is falling for Edward of course every girl falls for him But look at him he seems interested in her I want him to be interested in me but that will never happen Jessica thought. She was shooting mental glares Bella's way.
Angela smiled as she watched Bella. She seemed shy like herself. "So Bella how are you liking Forks so far." she asked kindly.

Edward chuckled and rolled his eyes. If only she knew what would happen if his lips got near her. He heard her little fantasies and they made him smile. Again, if she only knew. Alice! He needed to know what was up with Bella and if Alice would help him.

Jasper tried smiling at Alice, but all he could manage was looking like he was in extreme pain. Which was true seeing as how his past went and what he strives to do everyday as to not be like the old him. He still had a lot to get used to and a lot to overcome, but he would do it for Alice.
