I have another suggestion I came up with while working on a project about WW2
Using "Mirrors" while in cover. In theory it should work very well if your under heavy fire and need to see when the enemy starts reloading, but it can also be a problem if your cover is too flimsy and it gives off your location to them... especially if it's a sniper.

Ah, well I did cover using some other senses in combat under the one scenario section. (Though reading over it, only briefly. I'll expand on this in the Cover section.) If you don't have a mirror, you can always listen carefully. Games don't necessarily give us an idea of what all we can hear, smell, and feel around us, which actually holds a massive impact on our perception.
The mirror would help since I've learned that some people like to switch weapons or stop firing early to make enemies believe they ran out of ammunition, but even with just a rifle they might just shoot the mirror. The key though is probably to try to keep your mirror out of line of sight as best as possible and use the reflection as a guide rather than hold it out of cover to see. You may as well do the helmet test if you were to do that.
If your cover is too flimsy you should probably abandon it for better cover if at all possible. Another good rule of thumb is if whatever your cover might be at the time already has significant damage, particularly obvious bullet holes. If the object is wooden or thin, that's probably another red flag.

With all the updates, how is this still version 1.0? Isn't it at least 1.3?

I didn't keep track of the number. sweatdrop I figured once the thing was complete I'd just drop the version number entirely.

bah, it will never be complete, and you know it. New guns, and anti gun gear will always come out and need to be added. xp

I don't know if this is of any help or anything but how is this? A wiki database on guns from movies, TV, VG, and anime.

Can I points something out, sorry if I'm being a bossy boots here.
Assault rifles have selective fire, and most SMGs will too, but in the guide you bundle them together with the burst and autmoatic features, and dont mention their semi-automatic features.

I'm aware of that. MP5s and even Glock 18s have selective fire. That whole section needs a reconfiguration.

I was never a fan of Glock, the second you make a pistol an automatic I'm never going to be too fond of it. the Sig 228 in my mind, would be the ideal sidearm, a relatively decent capacity and stopping power.

Sig Arms does make a great handgun. I'm more of a H&K fan personally.
But get this. In Hellsing, Alucard's handguns are supposed to be so crazy powerful that nobody human could possibly use them. I'm not sure about the weight of his .454 Casul but .454s are used for bigger game. If this gun is anything like the Jackal in terms of weight, it shouldn't be an issue of recoil on a normal human.
they said his jackal weighs 16kg (About 35 Lbs) and fires 13mm bullets. Okay that seems pretty massive but the Pfeifer Zeliska .600 Magnum is capable of firing .600 Nitro express rounds, basically an elephant gun revolver. The .600 rounds are just over 15 MM in diameter and the casings are 3 inches long (76mm), the kick isn't terribly fearsome though, and the gun itself is only about 13 pounds empty. Nevermind that the Jackal is heavier than most full on machine guns (A FN Minimi is 7.1kg or about 15 lbs), the recoil of a 13mm handgun round on a gun that heavy with a barrel that long would make the recoil not too terrible at all. Holding the gun as a handgun to aim with that kind of weight offset is a different story. Most people would probably tip over.
Nevermind the fact that something made entirely from silver at that size probably wouldn't weight that much. Well, Anime logic I guess.
