I've just had a thought. If the bells were people, what would they look like? Ranna would be a girl of about fifteen, with pale, dreamy features, large gentle grey eyes, long, soft chocolate-brown hair...
Mosrael would be a teenager, with crazy carrot-red hair and a loud mouth (ever heard of Kyo Sohma?)
Dyrim would be a pretty young lady of about twenty, with short blond hair, sparkling eyes and a ready-to-smile mouth.
Belgaer would be a middle-aged man, very quiet and neat, very efficient and calm and professional.
Kibeth would be a tall, strong, athletic sportsy-kinda girl.
Saraneth would be a tall, ageing man with long silver hair and bright eyes that gives off an aura of power so strong it's almost palpable.
Astarael would be a beautiful young woman with long black hair, clothed all in white, her skin the paleness of snow.
