Heidi smiled and patted Hawk once more then hopped down from the tree branch. "Well, I gotta go. I have archery and I hate being late. Wanna come?" She asked, looking at Minary. Hawk nuzzled Raven gently.

Minary's face brightened as if she was asked to an expensive place. "I'd love to go. Archery is one of my favorites things to do." She whistled and Raven flew down to her. She stuck out her arm slightly and it perched on her arm. "Shall we go?"

Heidi smiled happily and lead the way to the archery range, which was taught by wood nymphs. Hawk followed after her, walking instead of flying.

Minary followed behind Hawk, trying not to get too close for comfort. She watched tiny creatures scurry in the trees and on the land as she walked along the road, pointing out the smallest of them to Raven. "So you're required to go to the archery range? Or is it optional?"

"Its optional, but it would be a good idea to learn archery if you want to learn how to defend yourself from far away. Close combat only goes so far in a battle.' Heidi said, smiling.

Minary blinked several times in confusion. "Battle? Why do you bring that up?" The spirit bird cawed and turned back into a dark mass, returning to the lanturn. Minary hooked the lanturn onto a little loop with a moving piece on it and stretched her arms.

Heidi looked at Minary, surprised. "You haven't heard that the gods are at war with Kronos? Kronos has escaped from Tartarus and is forming his army. Zeus is preparing the demi-gods to help fight Kronos's army."

Minary thought for a moment and spoke again. "You mean this camp is to train us so we can defeat Kronos? We're the main offense?" She stopped once they came to an opening and pointed to some elves walking around. "Is that the range?"

Heidi nodded and stopped. "Yes, we are the main offense, but this Camp is also to teach how to survive as a demi-god. And yes, thats the range."

Minary nodded to Heidi and walked into the clearing and looked around for the bows. "Do we rent the bows, or do they give us one when we start?" She looked back at Heidi and Hawk, waiting for her to answer. Train us as demigods? Probably so we don't get out-of-order.

"They give you one if don't already have one." Heidi said, walking up to the first target, conjuring a bow that was made from a birch branch out of thin air.

Minary grinned and tapped her lanturn. "I've got my power shots ready. All I need now is a bow." She looked around for an elf with bows, but couldn't find one. "I don't know where to go truthfully." She blushed, embarassed.

Heidi smiled and led Minary over to a large willow tree and knocked on it twice. A particularly fierce looking wood nymph came from inside it, looking at Heidi and Minary suspiciously. "What do you want?" She said. Heidi smiled and said," My friend needs a bow, Illo. Can you help her get one?" She asked. Illo looked at Minary closely, then ducked back inside her tree, coming out minutes later holding out a bow that was made from dogwood. "Here. best suited for your powers." She said, disappearing back inside the tree. Heidi smiled. "Illo may be a bit...eccentric, but she does know how to supply the best bows!"

Minary felt along the sides of the bow's wood. It was smooth and could almost trick you into thinking it wasn't wood. "Wow, Illo's a great bow-maker then. How do they make them so fast?" She pulled back the string and let it snap back into place. Best suited for my powers? What's she mean by that?

Heidi shrugged. "I dunno. They always do it in secrecy." She said, running her fingers along her own bow. It always emmited a sort of reassuring aura and its wooden frame was sturdy, yet flexible.
