"Alright.." He agreed, though he wasnt one for bravery or he just didnt believe he was like that.
They walked towards the house in the distance through the crops seeing that it was a quicker unpathed path then going around and following the official path. He had met Vicky only two or three times when she wished for him to bless her fields or she was selling her veggies in the town. She never struck him as someone who would rip apart a cow and eat its insides or whatever it did back there and hope she wasnt this suspect. Though he didnt truly understand vampires and stuff and wouldnt know how to spot one if he ran into one. They got closer to the house, and closer, until they ran into another one of these farm animals brutally killed in such a manner that would suggest a evil being at work.
"This isnt wise.." He mumbled in fear.

Brina moved forward cautiously, ignoring Tenit's apprehension and being careful of her surroundings instead. She faintly heard him say something, but she was too focussed on what she needed to do to ask him to repeat it.
"Just be very quiet," she whispered, pulling out one of her daggers as they neared the house.
She walked around the brutally murdered animal, holding her breath as she did so until she got to the steps leading up to the front door. Silently she ascended them, still guarded in case something attacked. Once she was at the door she raised a hand to gently knock and announce her presence, but she stopped with her hand about an inch from it. The door was open just the slightest, and she turned to look at Tenit.
"Do you have a weapon with you?" she asked in a hushed tone so that only he could hear.

He was about to ask 'what kind of weapon' when the door flung open and a young neko woman took a slash at Brina with a sharp farming tool, taking off a slap of leather from her shoulder garment but luckily no skin. The woman stopped after that though, having lost her grip of the tool she was wielding and noticing that the two strangers were not vampires.
"Oh my, im terribly sorry!" She said quickly with a very peachy voice even though this matter had her breathing hard and scared. "I thought you were one of them, those rogue vampires, i never seen them like that, traveling in a pack and so..brutal."

Brina jerked back at the sudden attack, being lucky that she had not been cut. She growled and sent a glare to the woman in front of her as she sheathed her dagger.
"Don't mention it..." she mumbled, turning to look across the field. "When were they here?"
She could see now the extent of the damage. There were several carcases laying throughout the field. Apparently only a few of the livestock had actually survived. Brina turned to look back at the woman, awaiting her answer.

"The what..?" She mumbled, trying to calm her nerves. "Vampires..They were here a just a night ago. I was able to block off my front door but they were not interested in me..I watched from the window as they went from cattle to cattle. I thought they were going to kill them all and then notice me but they fled as the sun was coming up.." She explained, both her and Tenit not knowing of the vampire's weakness to the sun.
Tenit moved away from the two conversing and looked about the wreckage from the vampires. He was walking towards one of the carcasses but stopped, noticing a humanoid figure with burns throughout its body and a glazed over eyes. It was one of the primitive vampires, unable to escape the sun.
"Brina!"

Brina was just about to tell the woman that vampire's were vulnerable to sunlight when she heard Tenit's panicked voice. Immediately she jumped from the porch and ran to him, drawing a dagger as she did so in case she had to fight. When she drew nearer she saw just why he had called her and stopped. She had never seen a vampire in this state before.
"Well... that is one less to deal with," she muttered, looking towards Tenit. "This is what a vampire looks like, Tenit. Take a moment to memorize it."
With that Brina turned and headed back towards the house to talk to the woman.

The woman watched Brina go over to her friend and placed her hand on her neck which was covered by her clothing. She was hiding something though to a obvious eye it was clear what it was.
Tenit nodded to her slowly and stared at the creature for a while. It was a pale body though minor burns on it showed that it had died from the sunlight. Yet there was a more serious wound on the creature's leg shown by some bruising and broken skin. It had been attacked by someone, probably the woman..
"What is it?" She asked, moving her hand from her neck quickly. She didnt know of the actions of a vampire and how one became one so she was blind to the fact that she was bitten. "Do you two want to come in?"

Brina narrowed her eyes a bit, growing a little suspicious of the woman. She glanced back towards the field and then to Tenit before fixing her eyes once more on the woman.
"No, thank you for the offer, though," she replied with a half-hearted smile. "We should continue on our way. We just wanted to check and make sure things were all right here."
She had noted when she looked towards the field that it was high noon, and if she and Tenit were to get anywhere they had best move on. With a smile Brina turned and walked down the few steps leading from the porch to the ground.
"Come on, Tenit."

The neko woman watched the two leave, surprised that they didnt come in, she would had treated them nicely and probably offered to them to stay the night. "But i want to--" He paused his complaint, remembering how easy she got angry at him and not wanting to be without a guide in this large world. He caught up with her and they walked a little while before he spoke up again. "Why didnt we stay at her house for the night? It would be warm and i bet she would have fed us."
He looked up at her, literally, the girl being taller then the idol neko. A lot of people were taller than him but he didnt mind so much and no one took advantage of a shorter Tenit.

"I don't trust her, Tenit. There's just something not right about this place," she replied shortly. "You need to learn how to read people."
She continued on, leading the way further and further from the woman and her house. Soon enough they were off of her land and Brina felt as though she could breath a little easier. After a few hours she realized that they needed to eat soon, and she stopped.
"We can rest here for a while," she told Tenit, dropping her small bag at the base of a tree.

"Read people?" He mumbled, not knowing that the neko woman had a book on her but if Brina said so...
He was glad when she finally announced that they would be resting. He sat down and looked about a little, wondering where the house was they would be staying in. He didnt ask though as he watched her look for some wood.
"How can you tell what time it is?

"Approximation," she replied simply, picking up many twigs and small branches off of the ground. "When the sun is directly above it is noon. When it is just above the tree line it will be evening soon, which means that it is almost dinner time."
She crouched down near him, a little ways from the trees, and dropped the sticks and twigs. Standing once again she walked over to her bag and rifled through it before pulling out her flint and tossing it over to Tenit along with one of her daggers. The dagger flipped through the air and landed, blade in the ground, at his feet.
"I hope you know how to make a fire," she told him, giving him a look that read 'please-tell-me-you-do'.

"Do what?"
About 30 minutes after it was pitch dark he finally got a fire going, smiling at first and then laughing with joy.
"I did it!" He celebrated, looking over at Brina's expression that read 'be quiet you idiotic fool.' and he did as her silent order told him. He watched the fire for a while, wondering if he should throw the flint on it after he was done or leave it be and he did that second one, not doing anything without Brina first telling him.
"Brina.." He said as if asking her if it was okay to talk to her though he didnt wait for a reply. "If you lived so close to the village then why didnt you join the village at sometime. You must have been lonely."

She sat next to the fire, preparing to cook their dinner when he asked her his question. She did not stop preparing the two dead rabbits, but looked up at him a little.
"I'm a rogue, Tenit," she said simply, looking back to the rabbits. "I would not have been accepted into your village when I do not share the same views. If I had been adopted by somebody they probably would have put pressure on me to accept their belief's. I could not live like that."
Brina placed their dinner over the fire, allowing them to cook a little above it. She stared at the fire for a while, just letting her thoughts go through her head. After a little while she looked up at Tenit, noticing that he was still standing next to the fire.
"You can sit down, you know," she told him with a small smile. "Or, as a godly figure, are you required to be the first to sit?"

((Funny, i dont feel like posting..))
He knew this but for some reason was standing up until she told him. Sitting down, Tenit watched as she magically made too uncooked meat objects turn into dinner. He would have to learn these kinds of things from her if he was going to be traveling with the woman.
"What happened to your parents?" He asked, though she probably got the question a number of times.
