Sara laughed and rode towards Robert. His horse was sweet, just a little stubborn sometimes. Gently she took the reins from Robert and led the horse towards Losu. She was riding the older of the horses she had picked, and probably the most stubborn around strangers.

Robert looked at the Horse "You hate me don't you..."
"Yeees"
Robert looked around. Ashley was laughing. "Very Funny"
"Sorry...." Ashley tapped her foot on her horse and moved to Losu.
"So, You three are going to be in the first humans in a Army made to kill the demons. Has that fully hit you yet." Losu asked.
Robert was confused. He hadn't even thought of it yet.
"A Little... not as much as I thought it would have but thats because I Have seen the world up to now. Maybe once I leave the land I ground up in it will become more like a new life" Ashley told him.

Sara looked at the others. They didn't seem to grasp the idea that they were actually going out and killing things. Heck, she'd had problems as a kid killing the chickens for dinner. But demons were different weren't they..."You want to know the truth? I'm scared."

Losu laughed "Fear, it's in the head with everything else. It's how much of it you let out that matters my dear"
Robert looked like he understood what Losu had said but Ashley was confused as hell.

Sara nodded. She was able to follow what Losu had said, and it made sense. And least they didn't laugh at her for being scared. After all...she could die!

Losu looked ahead then back.
"So is there anytime where I can be trained with thiis bow?" Robert asked.
"Yes" Losu answered. He loved how this kid was going to try something he looked like he wouldn't be good at. "We should stop for a day or two in each town plus every night or sometimes day we are going to stop and eat and sleep. When we do that there is going to be spots where we can train you."

Sara pulled her mind away from the conversations going on and lost herself in her own little world. She was scared, she was untrained and she didn't even understand why she was here, fighting this battle. She had nothing against demons. Yes they were evil, yes they killed her family, but she wasn't a killer. They were doing what they did. And she had accepted that.

Later on that day they took a Stop "Will Make camp here and tomorrow will start off again" Losu said.
Robert smiled "Would you train me with the bow a bit tonight?"

Sara hadn't said a word the entire trip. There was nothing she could say. Losu was the only elf she felt even remotely comfortable talking to, the others were all hostile towards humans. Robert was...well...too eager to get this started. She felt out of place in this group. Different even.

Ashley walked up to Sara. "Hey what are you doing all alone" She smiled and sat down next to her. **********************

**************** "If you put your hand like this it should do that again" Losu said. "Yeah... my father said that too" Robert laughed.

"About this whole thing, I mean, I have nothing against the demons, I accept them as part of life, but here I am off to destroy them? I don't know what possessed me to do this. It felt like the right thing to do at the time, but now I'm not sure."

Losu had walked over by now. "The elven people fill the same way you do but we have goneto fight this war because if we don't the demons will take over our world. Sara, we aren't trying to kill all the demons just push them back to there home and kill one of there Many leaders to show them they can not do this again"

She sighed. "It still doesn't feel right..." She said softly, almost under her breath. Something inside her told her something was going to go wrong.
