Flagenza heard Chaos's words they were not a threat he was willing to risk. Flagenza dropped out of the air into space beside chaos. he was behind the chair in his current poistion with all his fellow ninjas on the other side from him. it might nt have been the smart move but if chaos could sense him at all he couldn't risk that threat.

" How'd you know i was there?" flagenza felt like they had a personal connection the two of them. flagenza was scared but at the same time he was in awe of this man. his power just dradiated either that or he was most confident man ever.

"Demon vines are highly sensitive to chakara... I can feel it when someone gathers or releases chakara very nicely." Chaos said as he continued to roam through files on his computer. "Plus I have saturated this base with very low amounts of my cursed chakara. Anyone who enters into this base creates a gap within the field of chakara. I know you can all feel my chakara wtihin this room can't you? You can feel it slowly sucking away your strength... Given at this amount it would take far to long before it before it did anything serious but I know you can feel it."

Chaos looked over at Flagenza, with dark golden eyes seemed to light up for a split second before returning to their dark golden hue. "Besides I have lived much longer than all of you giving me more time to learn, develop, and experiment with my skills and my body! Hehehehe... Now why don't you walk over to your little friends over there? I don't plan on killing you fools. I just want to learn and test a few things."

After following the group into the base, Kenji remained at the back and observed. When the wall at the dead end moved away and the strange room was relieved, Kenji did his best to analyze Chaos, an unknown figure to him. The man obviously recognized the group even though Kenji had not met this person prior to their entering the PMC base. Because of this, Kenji found it wise to also read his companions to search for their knowledge and opinions of this man.

Kenji was having an incredibly difficult time reading Chaos. This man was incredibly strong and equally intelligent, preventing Kenji from finding even the smallest bits of information, such as a name. He had the same problem with May, but for separate reasons. May was simply unreadable, as if she thought in her own personal, unspoken language. Kenji would have to rely on his teammates, only some of which actually recognized this person.

From the surroundings, what was said, and the thoughts of the group, Kenji was able to reach a few conclusions. This man was only part human (if at all) and part (or all) plant. He had been allowed inside the village and hadn't killed everyone, so he must be somewhat peaceful. He also seemed to never give up experimenting or trying to find how to improve himself; he had a burning search for knowledge. Kenji was able to divulge Chaos's name with the help of those who recognized him, and he discovered that Chaos only took interest in something that potentially threatened him or his time. This last point could be extremely useful in the near future.

Most importantly, Chaos and those who knew him understood his superior power and knew he was not to be messed with. By that, Kenji agreed with May's reaction, they must tell him the truth and offer their highest respect. With the best of luck, Chaos might let the group be or even join the team. He would certainly be useful in destroying the enemy and completing the mission, and because he previously had a diplomatic connection with TVHIT, this might be a feasible option.

Kenji had noticed one of the things Chaos said, the sapping of energy. Since Kenji had been floating, the chakra he was using to do so was being pulled out more rapidly than normal. To preserve what he had, Kenji decided it best to cease levitating. From under his cloak, Kenji's back-pack opened up. The belts on the front of his cloak undid themselves and opened up, showing Kenji's body and his true height. The cloak pulled itself into the pack and the back-pack shut closed and re-belted itself. Underneath, one could now see that Kenji was wearing white pants, shirt and shoes. He had a several black belts scattered around on his torso, arms, and legs. His skin was white as snow and he had ornate, black tattoos everywhere.

Dropping to the ground, one could plainly see that Kenji was most definitely the smallest of everyone in the room. Without the cloak and his fake height Kenji looked like a worthless academy student that could be tossed aside in a single blow. He even wore strong glasses due to his horrible vision. But truthfully, he was most likely the second most powerful person present next to Chaos; he was even stronger than his partner, Death.

Kenji stepped forward, stopping next to May. Hopefully the two of them could reach an agreement with Chaos. Kenji glanced over at May before speaking, "I am pleased to acquainted with you, a warrior of your power comes along quite rarely." Kenji then decided that since he had opened his big mouth it would be best to continue than just seem to be a mere suck-up. "I was not around when you visited our village and Midori has grown immensely during my time so she must be even more improved to you. Unfortunately, she is unable to be with us now. If she was, you would be able to see for yourself rather than having to rely on an interpretation."

Kenji would leave the next part for May. He did not wish to take the role of leader as he lacked the knowledge that May had on Chaos. She would better know what to say next, she was clever enough.

flagenza nodded and moved past the man. at least for himslef he assured the safety of the group in his mind at least. he was facinated by this man.

flagenza felt the effects likey worse than anyone as he already had a constant drain cause by his chicks. he began to seal his chakra to slow the damage. as he walked he nodded to kenji. flagenza had seen sides of thistransformation in there last fight. death was turning out to be even more interesting than tailz.

flagenza turned back to chaos an his chicks came out of hiding and stood around him all turning red with the fire element.

May paused for a few seconds to give the others a chance to speak about her master while she reflected upon her database upon the best way to answer Chaos's question.

Now that Chaos mentioned it, she had been detecting a negligibly small chakra loss in her systems. Small enough that it hadn't tripped any of her alarms. Still she suspected that the effect wasn't as pronounced on her as the others since she had been dezined with minimal leakage in mind.

As Kenji unvield himself May was suprised at his small statue. It raised all sorts of questions about how Death had been able to minimize his form like into such a small package. Was he a shapeshifter like a Skrull? Or did he have some other unknown power that she wasn't aware off? Her files after all while extensive where far from comprehensive so she hardly knew a thing about this strange form that Death had taken.

Listening to Kenji speech May nodded in agreement as he spoke. "Well done." She whispered to him as he finished up leaving her with the perfect opening.

"I too was not around the village when you visited, but I have extensively reviewed files of the match that are available. Due to that information, I can safely say that my master aka Midori-sama whom I have intimate knowledge of has improved exponentially since that time." May explained not bothering to remunerate on exactly how intimate her knowledge was.

"She is the strongest Skyrider in recorded history and has just recently ascended to become the second Gaikukage. Unfortunately she was far too busy running the village to come with us, but if she had known her playmate was here she would have undoubtedly made an exception. She often speaks very highly of you." May said, tough that very highly was equal parts both respect and fear. After all, Chaos was the only ninja she had ever lost a fight too and their was no insurance she could beat him now, even with all of her growth.

"As a fellow researcher who admires your work on both exotic poisons and seals, my Master would be most... appreciative of your assistance in tracking down whom ever it was that was behind the recent attack on our village." According to her files, it seemed unlikely that Chaos himself was behind the attack. Cybernetics like the robotic panther suit just wasn't his style

Chaos paused for a moment after may had finished speaking, thinking of all the things she had said. He continued moving though the files of his computer, yet he was deep in thought. Then after a short pause he started talking to himself, loud enough for the group to hear. "I could just kill them... That would drag my playmate here... Though that might the entire village after me. I could just follow them back but then they would just get in the way of my games later on. Paying a visit to the village wouldn't work either. I would have to lure her out of the village by herself to have some fun." After he had finished he looked over at May with a sly evil smile. "Fair enough... I guess I can leave these dark dingy halls for a while."

The doors to the base suddenly opened up as Chaos stood up. He brushed a bit of his hair out of his eyes once again. "Though... Just remember that I might decide to betray you all someday. Hehehe..." Chaos said as he powered down his computer. "I have a few things I need to do first, you head on back and warn her of my coming."

Daniel soon felt the chakra he had just acquired leaving him, Daniel becoming more nervous...until someone went up to may, not recognizing the individual although he seemed to be a friendly. Right after this though, May began to speak about the Gaiukage, Daniel nervous about all this praise she was giving him until she asked for his helped. Although Daniel recognized Chao's power, it seemed...dangerous. In his opinion, he was a wild card and, although useful, could also be extremely dangerous. For a moment though, Chao seemed to actually consider the offer, cringing a bit whenever he mention the groups death by his hand. However it soon reached its end and the decision was made, the answer surprising but the last bit didn't. Not one bit. However that didn't matter, just as long as they had another ally...hopefully.

Flagenza began to wonder about this man and Midori's relationship. it seemed to be common that ninja who had one good fight became obsessed with fighting each other.

Flagenza was like that with death he would take every oppurtunity possible to fight him. but this mentality also scared flagenza what if in a simle battle like him and death or Midori and Chaos, a test of skill one died, not in a true battle but some mionor useless petty competition. Flagenza himself lived by a simple system fight every fight like its real. Don't pull punches, don't save a skill, hit hard fast and eliminte the opponent. That type of mentality was all well and good till it kill a friend.

Why did ninja have this oppsension?

" will you try and kill midori Chaos?" he he looked into chaos eye's with complete calm and not the slightest waiver.

May silently listened as Chaos talked out loud to himself about possibly killing them as he tried to figure out ways to get Midori by herself. But May wasn't worried because her master was never alone if she didn't want to be. Midori could easily summon May to her side at any time and together the two where an incredible duo since May would handle the close range combat freeing up Midori to focus solely on long range where she was at her deadliest.

When Chaos reminded them that he might betray them some day May only nodded. It wasn't someday to her, rather she was outright counting on it. She trusted Chaos less then she could throw him, and the entire point of the negitions was more so that they could live long enough to get away and prehaps lure him out of the base so that they could send someone back in later to search it for the clues they had come looking for.

"FLAGENZA" May exclaimed harshly after hearing him ask Chaos if he was going to try and kill Midori. It was the first time since she had entered the room that she had actually appeared to be flustered.

"You heard the man, it's time to go." She said pointing to the exit purposefully while waiting for the others to follow her instructions and leave. She'd lead them into this miss, so it was her duty to leave last.

Daniel looked at Flagenza with a face that said, "Keep yourself quiet because if you don't, I will." when he asked whether Chaos would kill Midori. However he did know that Chaos would at least attempt to do something like this. He had only seen a bout between the two but he understood that those two had a very dangerous relationship, the kind that ended when one of them killed the other. Of course it would be Chao's death as he saw Midori was far better then Chaos but the question on whether Chaos might drag in others was the primary concern. Either way he decided to ignore it for the moment to look at May, nodding to acknowledge her words, already moving towards the doorway.

Fuuryu Yukito

"Alright," Yuki whispered to May. He then headed towards the doorway. He was wary of Chaos, knowing well that he would probably follow through on his decision to betray them. He would expect no less from a man like Chaos. Yuki gulped as he exited. Another thing he knew was that the group had been lucky that Chaos was in such a generous mood. Well, generous considering that it's Chaos. Honestly, Yuki felt that Kenji might've been the only one who would stand a chance against Chaos among the team, and even then he wasn't sure. Of course, Yuki was assuming that Kenji was like Death: powerful, cunning, and able to adapt. But Kenji wasn't Death. Yuki knew from experience, as his recent bout with him would prove. Of course, at the time, Kenji Yusuke was using the alias Zak Reniset. Kenji was very different from Death, but at the same time... he knew he would be just as effective in a fight. Especially if Kenji had an ability like Death's Victus Letum.

Yuki stepped outside, glad to be out of the base alive. He was especially glad for the fresh air, as Chaos's evil aura had made Yuki a bit naseous.

Chaos turned his back to the group and made a lone odd hand sign. With that lone handsign he suddenly turned into a mass of vines that quickly dug into the ground vanishing.

In another part of the base Chaos reformed up from the earth. Inside this room was nothing large vats that lined all the rooms. This room was well hidden and could only be accessed via door from the inside. This allowed so only Chaos could enter and exit from this room.

Walking over to a lone computer Chaos began to punch in some information. After a few seconds a few of the vats began to open, releasing their contents. Chaos had cloned his fellow Gaioh warriors from centuries ago. Chaos had modified their memories as to not remember his betrayal and death with Gaioh. After all he didn't want them trying to kill him and for them to figure out how he was able to survive.

Anata wa watashi ga zutto mae ni "sayounara" to yutta hito wo omoidasaseru.

A gagging was heard from one of the pods. I appeared that the young man who had emerged from the pod had inhaled some of the dust that had settled in the doors over the years. The man had light -brown hair, complemented by darker brown eyes, and a moderately athletic build.

Through the gagging, the man was able to say,

"Why the hell am I naked!?"

Yes, as it appeared, even Chaos' science couldn't clone the clothes worn by the long-passed shinobi. It appeared that this one, the young Tougura Hideki, was both confused and angry by this fact.

Before the dust completely settled, it passed Tougura's mind to use a transformation jutsu; after all, illusionary clothes were better than none at all. There was a "poof" of smoke and, as the dust settled, it seemed that the man had conjured himself a dark-mesh shirt under a light-red robe, coupled with slip-on shoes and dark-gray, cotton slacks.

"Now who the hell took my clothes!?" Tougura raised an angry fist as his eyes adjusted to the light in the room. This charade of only stopped when he noticed Chaos standing over a, rather high-tech looking, computer. Tougura's composure, quite rapidly, changed.

"Dammit Chaos! I thought you only stole Masamune's clothes!" he jested at the man-plant.

((yes, I realize what I just did, and set up, but, I felt this place needed a moment of comedic relief))
You remind me of someone I said goodbye to a long time ago.

flagenza stood starring at the empty space chaos had just left. he had wanted an answer to the question. he didn't like the threat the vilages new kage and as intrigued as flagenza was with chaos, if this group led and allowed chaos to kill midori flagenza would personally lead an attack from the village hidden in the clouds to kill every ninja that allowed it to happen. the whole willge if hed had two. all but the comatose former kage. and he would finsih it with his own death for allowing it to occur.

but it appeared this was a question that would be left open ended. flagenza marked a kunai and threwit into the back wall of the formerly hidden room. it simply stuck in the wall and did nothing not damaging any equipment. it would be almost unoticable unless you were looking for it. flagenza followed the others out.

he stopped turned back ignoring his commrades advice." i will get an answer Chaos" flagenza continued following

Kenji was glad they had reached and arrangement, and relieved that it was a peaceful one. Chaos could be trusted, for the time being. Even so, it would be unwise for anyone to turn their eyes away from him, he was too unpredictable. Hopefully, Death would realize this as well and remember to keep his guard up. After all, Kenji couldn't stay forever.

Waiting for the others to leave first, Kenji left his eye(s) on Chaos. Kenji watched him burrow into the ground, an impressive feat. As soon as all but May had left, and Kenji notice her waiting for him, he followed suit. As he entered into the sunlight (as little as there was in the jungle) Kenji warned his teammates, "Be wary of the ground, many things lie underneath." While directly referring to Chaos, there were many other possibilities of sub-earthen predators.

Kenji began floating once more. Now that he was out of that energy sucking room, levitation would be much simpler. "I suggest we get moving right away. As soon as everyone is fully prepared we should head out." Looking about the team, Kenji made sure no one was stupid enough to try and take something. Chaos definitely wouldn't like that. "May, would you like to lead the way?" he shouted over the group.
