Dan Sekohara For a moment or two there were stars in the white haired Hero's eyes. That strike... It seemed as though this strange man was more powerful than he looked. With no more than two fingers DAN MAN! was sent flying back and slamming into the ground on his back. How cruel adults can be? Who was this joker? DAN MAN! looked up from his prone position, Zombies, scrolls, shadows? This guy had all the abilities of a bad anime villain. Before he could get up to his feet one of the zombies approached and swung a club for the young man's face. It was only with the strength of his now fading DAN MAN! form that Dan could raise his mighty hammer infront of him before the mace reached his face. The heavy club clanged against the heavy metal of the Dan Hammer. "You're powers are lame!" DAN MAN! called angrily rolling backwards away from the zombies. He wouldn't be able to attack again for another little bit. Just then flames flew in and covered zombies in their smoldering fire. Zombies were bad enough but now Kusuri had turned them into flaming zombies. This was already the fight of their lives... Damn.

Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader, and Rise Kujikawa, Investigation Team Idol That one had stung more than he cared to admit; Soji was sturdy as a man could hope to be in his thick coat and armor, supernatural power running through his body as he dug his heels into the top of the Tower and settled his eyes upon his enemy. He had already used his Myriad Truths, and yet before them now stood an enemy that seemed to have been tailor made to use such a skill against. It was a dark irony, his own luck having turned foul in the face of this overwhelming foe. Still, he had no choice but to press forward, whether he had the power that he wanted or he didn't; in the back of his mind, however, he heard a whisper that was faint right now, too quiet to make out the words. It was a familiar voice, too soft and suggestive to identify just yet...he wondered if it wasn't the madness of this thing playing tricks on his own consciousness, but he could feel the comforting presence of Izanagi-no-Okami inside of his mind warding off the attempts on his sanity by this thing, this abomination that had spawned before them. He was lucky...but his teammates wouldn't hold out near as long if they didn't put a dent into this thing with its ooze body. His blue wand burst into a bright golden light again as his Fission Sword restored to power and in a flash he was across the field weaving with leaps and dashes, ducking under and twisting, turning over the lashes of the tentacles which struck at him with reckless abandon as he closed in on the thing, the main body of the whole ungodly mess that was the Crawling Chaos. It was within striking distance that he felt a black, gooey limb wrap around his ankle and grip it tightly, but even as it tried to yank him back and away it had been knocked loose by the butt-end of his powered weapon. Another reaching for his neck felt the nuclear sting swatting it harshly to the side of his body, but it was only when the third wrapped itself around one of his wrists that he finally used the leverage it afforded to his advantage, pulling the limb in the opposite direction as he leaped into the air and ripped his foot viciously across the head where the face should have been on the creature. He was swift, agile, and effective in his attacks, and with the direction of his moves he had unraveled the tentacle and swatted it aside with his wand before leaping into the air and bringing the thing down in a flash on the creature's shoulder, burying it into the black sludge body...only to feel it stuck, pulled like quicksand away from his hands and towards its body. He tugged once and couldn't manage to free the weapon, and a second time only pulled it part of the way...it was nearly lost...tugged back in by the chaotic body of the fiend, when he sensed more than he saw the nuclear ball rocketing towards the devil from behind him. He smirked beneath his mask as the condensed mass of nuclear power closed in, and letting his left hand fall away from the trapped wand, he extended a thick-gloved palm towards the magic and felt a green, powerful wind forge inside of his own. Firing the powerful breeze towards the nuclear ball he could see them meet and mingle, the nature of the gift that Lewis Keys had given them changing it into something different...something dangerous and powerful. Something like...
"Mushroom Cloud Samba!" the name came to mind just as the ball condensed into a marble, a tiny version of two spells melded into one, and as the miniscule power ball shot across the field and buried itself into the stomach of the creature, it was barely a split-second between the moment of impact and eruption, a mass of wind and nuclear fusion that expanded and exploded into a wicked cloud of power! Like a flash across the field the Senior shot with the explosion hot on his heels, and he would have been lying to say that he hadn't felt it even as he came skidding to a stop with his wand returned to his grip on the far side from Nyarlathotep and catercorner from his allies. His gloved hand hit the dirt and fingers had nearly dug tiny rivulets into the hard onyx material of the tower. But he had stopped himself and looked up with his eyes from beneath the mask to see the cloud just as it dispersed into the sky, the wave of power spread out until it had lost its potency, but there was no lack of intense damage that should have been made on their enemy. Not lacking for force had either of their spells been alone, but combined it was a terrible calamity for any foe which met it head-on. Slamming his staff's butt end into the ground, he forced himself back straight and waited until the smoke cleared...but all the while he could feel it, hear that little voice inside of his head whispering a little louder, a little bit clearer. He knew that voice, damn it, so why was it teasing him like this? 'It's not enough,' the treacherous little voice spoke inside of his mind, and when the cloud had finally passed he could see that it was right. Already pulled back together he could see the masks setting themselves back into its black, gooey skin and watched as the tentacles flailed wildly about in a mixture of anger and sheer lunacy, this thing, this unnatural deity was far from beaten even with the level of power that they were shelling out now. Soji couldn't help but think that the voice inside of his head had a point when another wave of magic, a Chaos Wave, spread like blue wildfire and smashed into each of them, leveling them again with no less intensity despite whatever damage they should have done to it. And the follow-up wasn't unfamiliar either...a white ball of power that hit Faust and seemed to do nothing, but if Rednal was right, it was a move that would only make the rest of this fight all the more complex...at a time when simplicity would have been more of a blessing than ever.
"Senpai, be careful! It's preparing for something big!" the worried voice of the team's support came suddenly across the distance between them and in the ears of all his teammates at once. She couldn't say exactly what it was, but there was an increase in the violent whir inside its mind...its very body seemed to be stretching out insanity and reaching as if to touch someone, to connect, and whatever the result of such a thing would be it could only be bad for all of them. Idly, she took a look over at Rednal who seemed to have lost his vigor all at once, his magic spent and his body no less trashed with the repeated blows he had taken. And now with no healing to refresh him, it would only be a matter of time, maybe a couple more shots before he was completely out of this. They had to do something...so she stretched out her own mind and connected with the team's most reliable medic, the only one who could likely sustain the rest of them to keep them moving for very much longer. She was the one who could be their lifeline. "Yukiko-senpai, Rednal-kun and Faust-kun both need healing! Please, help them!" She hoped that her plea would reach them in the midst of all this chaos, but she couldn't know for sure from this distance until the spells had hit. She was staying far away, as out of sight as she could manage without totally abandoning the field. In the face of this thing all she had wanted to do at first was run, to get as far away as she could...the presence of this monster, strange and unstable as it was, was overwhelming, an all-encompassing power and consciousness that made her want to scream and cry all at the same time. But she was still here, strong because of her Senpai and the will to protect her friends in the only way she knew how. Sh watched as Faust tried to protect everyone with a little healing of his own, and as Zeo rushed in and landed a Mighty Blow upon the ooze-like flesh of this creature, only to be swatted with a long tentacle like a rag doll against one of the sharp pillars which stood on the edge of the field not too far behind Faust and Rednal. Moments later, Kanji-kun was on the scene having come to provide a little more firepower, and with a great strength his Primal Force smashed into the head of the thing, seeming to almost crush it back into its body...before it glooped back out and recovered. It was so resilient, she couldn't even feel a weakening in its aura. She couldn't feel much of anything for certain, but still everyone was fighting as hard as they could. Nonetheless, with each passing moment there was a creeping sense of doubt...a niggling little voice worming its way inside of her mind. But she couldn't listen to it. Wouldn't. She stretched out her powers and tried even harder for everyone to find something useful. If this was the final battle, she would be damned if she found herself useless within it...she would help her friends even if she had to run in there and distract it just to make it so. So she watched her boyfriend as he recovered from his damage and raised his weapon, but rather than attacking he seemed to be waiting, watching as the cloud lifted and the attacks struck, all seeming not to have done the damage that they had hoped. What was going inside of that mind of his? 'Please be all right, Senpai,' she thought, but it wasn't a desperate plea for safety...it was a hope for peace, tranquility inside of his mind...that he might find that calm that always guided him and gave him the strength to find a way to win. Inside his mind, however, it was more turmoil than tranquility.
Yes, it was inside his head again, that whisper...only now it wasn't whispering about just this fight, but the battle down below. He had known from the moment that he left them behind that they didn't have the power to defeat Raiden and Vamp and the other Messenger and Messiahs without him, and if they took too long with their mission atop the Tower they were doomed for having offered their lives to the Rear Guard. It was a feeling that came with the knowledge, buried in the back of his consciousness but heavy inside of his heart, heavier with each passing minute that the battle dragged on. 'They need your help,' the voice seemed to taunt and whisper, though it wasn't goading as much as it was pleading, confident and sympathetic, but with the creature before them he still couldn't be sure if it was his own mind or something else entirely...and listening to those little whispers scared him, even more so when he couldn't say they weren't right, 'they need our power. You have that power!' His mind was in chaos, and the powers inside of him, the voices of his personae each whispering their own little words inside of his mind, everything they could do for him wordlessly echoing in his ears. If only he had the power to use Myriad Truths...if only...his thoughts weren't interrupted by the recovery of the Fiend that was now up to its full height, tentacles whirring wildly over its head.
Suddenly, one of the wild, stringy limbs lashed out like an obsidian whip and he covered his face with the wide part of his wand to ward it aside...but this time it wasn't him who was the target! Black strands of ooze-like body wrapped around the head of someone, but it wasn't Soji Seta...it was Rednal! Like a long black mouth it had opened and closed around his head, gripping him as though it were going to swallow him, but rather than pulling him inside of the tentacle it pulled him sharply by the neck across the field and turned him around, placing him in front of its main body. Leaping forward, Soji tried to hack at the thing to force it to let go, but when the body of Rednal was thrust in the way of his attack he pulled up just shy...only to be struck to the side violently, rolling to his knees and back to his feet, eyes focused on the scene in front of him. There were a few moments of struggling, but before long it was over. And then like some sort of automaton the body of the Junior sprung to life again, fighting as though he were still inside of his own mind (save for the mouth of black that had gripped his head, a white mask forming where his face should have been with a thin, wide smile stretching from ear-to-ear, but now he was turned against them. Soji's eyes widened and his teeth grit in anger and frustration as the realization dawned...it was using their friend as a human shield! But more than that, if it could control him...it could use it against them. Forcing them to attack their friend, to defend themselves against him...it was a worst-case scenario unless there was some way to free him from he possession. He scanned the creature with his eyes but couldn't quite come up with a solution until Rise's voice pierced his ears...and sounding like an angel, she finally knew what it was that she could do.
"Everyone, listen!" her voice pierced the dark veil that had come over them and with urgency she delivered the prognosis for the battle, "you can still hit Nyarlathotep without hurting Rednal, but somehow, it's controlling his mind so he might attack! If you can sever the tentacle that's holding him or knock him out, though, you should be able to break the control! ...Please, help Rednal fast before it's too late!"
Quote: Fission Sword - High Nuclear Damage Added to Weapon [Target: Nyarlathotep]
Mushroom Cloud Samba - Wind and Nuclear fusion which condenses into a ball no larger than a marble, then when it hits the target, explodes in a vicious mushroom cloud over the field. Does Heavy Fusion damage to 1 target with Proximity Damage to nearby foes. [Nova Cyther + Garudyne] [Target: Nyarlathotep]
---
Analyze - Weakness discovered in the controlling tentacle! Sever it or knock out possessed person to release [Rednal] from possession!
---
Possession - Nyarlathotep links a tentacle to an enemy and creates a place for itself in the mind of a selected target. By playing on the darker side of their subconscious he then takes control of their body, influencing them to its will. The controlled is thus compelled to fight on the side of Nyarlathotep. Unless his control is broken. [Target: Rednal...now fighting on behalf of Nyarlathotep!] Decover - Null Recovery 3 Turns (Target: Faust) Chaos Wave - Severe ??? Damage, Lower Defense (All - Defense Lowered to Minimum!)

Faustus Necromonium, the Trappish Junior Faust watched as the thing fought back, even against Souji's massive attack, and felt a bit of warmth vanish from him. He was struck with the same thing Rednal had been...and as such, could no longer restore his health.
And as the tentacle wrapped around his head, Faust fell into a sort of light horror, before Rise informed them of what they could do to stop him. A small grin formed on Faust's face, as he raised his card, having just the thing. "This wasn't quite my forte, but.." Faust started, before he broke his card, a large Bolt of Lightning coming to Strike at Rednal.
He wasn't the best at aiming for a tentacle, and he wasn't very strong physically. But! If he attacked Rednal, especially with the lack of getting any healing, and if he felt as weak as Faust did defensively, then this would definitely help.
Not that Faust was enjoying hurting Rednal. No, no. Nothing like that. Even if he was totally betraying Yuno's love. Quote: Faust: Luster Candy [3/3] Shijima [3/4] Ziodyne (Rednal) Decover: [1/3]

'What the freaking oh come on the- Tentacles!? I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going!' Zeo thought as he batted at a few tentacles before being rocked to the other side of the floor. Hitting the wall didn't dent it very deeply, but it did more than enough damage to Zeo as the Persona bro lurched forward, the force of the impact rattling a few cages and busting things he didn't want to mention. For a second Zeo fell to his knees, and gripped his chest after it, like maybe something was wrong. "So...Soji, I can-" Zeo's sentence was cut off as he attempted to force his lips shut, but instead the younger cousin or whatever of Aigis felt his mouth forced open as what looked like lava came pouring out of his mouth, spitting and coughing as he felt a dramatic surge of strength in his body. "You...you damn monster. There's no way I'm letting someone with so many ambiguous appendages get near ANY girls or their orifices! Soji, take out it's main body!" Zeo shouted, standing up again as the freaky black gloopy thing took advantage of their opening and latched on to Rednal. Damn it, now it was turning their own on them? He wasn't dumb enough to think that Rednal was going to be able to out-mind rape the freaky thing that had overpowered Simon and Hetero, so that meant it was up to them to free him from it's grasp! And if he'd learned one thing over all the years (like, months maybe) of Shadow fighting, it was that the best and usually only way to take down a Shadow was by crushing it's mask! So, with all respect to Rednal's ugly mug, Zeo was going to have to help him break out in the only way he'd ever done anything, EVER!
"Redddnaaall!" Zeo shouted, sprinting forward as Rise gave what little information she could, his speed upped for a change by a ridiculous level thanks to everything working in his favor, as the Persona Online burst through the distance in a clap of thunder and spun right as he reached the enemy, side-stepping and rolling to the side to avoid any potential counterattack before turning with a locked fist aimed square at his former teammate's face. "Grit those teeeeetttth!" Zeo shouted, as flames licked his fist as it came crashing in towards his new opponent's tiny fragile facial bones. Sure Rednal had always been kind of scrawny, and seemed like a malnutrition having brat, but that didn't mean that he wasn't part of the team and from what he'd seen he'd magically survived more than a few shots that were way beyond his power level as if it were a completely implausible level of defense that circumvented the very essence of power! But if he could pull off all of those miracles, then he might not DIE from this level of rocking which was bound to kill an ordinary man reggarrrddlessss!Quote: Pimp Mode(Persona Online): Activates his Anti-Shadow form, boosting all stats! (2/) Auto-Tarukaja Ups Strength (2/3) Auto-Rakukaja Ups Defense (2/3) Reason of Yosuga: Increases Physical attack! (2/4) Jaungreipir, the Iron Gauntlets of Thor: Constant Power Charge! Red Power Ring: Ups my stats whatever Rednal got. When the user is severely injured or near death, their rage will build and begin to change their body. Wearers will then be forced to throw up what appears to be similar to a molten lava, but when they do, their eyes will turn red and their muscles will strengthen, increasing all of their powers by a drastic effect for 5 turns or until the end of the battle. Orochi-Kabuto, 'Shadow' Member of the Black Messengers "Ah ah ah, you didn't say the magic word." The fire Kusuri had thrown to help her ally splashed against his zombies, while he himself threw the cloak he'd dropped a moment before in the way to catch the flames. As Dan had rightly conjectured, the corpses may have been weak to fire and so her attack did a fair amount of damage, but that also left her teammate with the problem of fighting against flaming angry corpses. It was in that opening moment when he was rolling backwards to clear distance that one of them sprinted forward, hands clutching his arms to try and stop his attacks for a moment as the others caught up and dove on the boy, attempting to dogpile on him with their smoldering, burning bodies so that Dan could feel some of Kusuri's heat themselves. "B-brains!" The groaning grew louder as Dan was slowly piled on by the four corpses. "You shouldn't have interfered. We have big plans, and a girl like you doesn't need anymore scars." Orochi-Kabuto turned to look at Kusuri with a menacing grin, and all of a sudden slipped from view as he dropped low, his legs melding into a snake-like tail as he crossed the area quickly, passing by her as he neared, perhaps narrowly avoiding a counter! "You're already too ruined for my collection!" Orochi-Kabuto scolded with a harsh laugh, his feet returning just as he slid to a stop on the far side of her, crouched low to avoid her arms from earlier. A hand shot out, and two fingers touched her ankle as the glow around his fingers hinted at what he'd done to both of them, the girl likely feeling her leg crumple in an instant. "You should see what I can do with my tongue." The pale skinned man said with a menacing laugh, letting his tongue roll out of his mouth for an instant, showing it's forked and wicked length, his fun while distracting the I.Team just about ripe for the plucking. Soon, he'd have to dispose of them, so it was better if he could shake the fear out of them now while it was still there for the taking. Quote: Kabuto: Dead Soul Technique: Temporarily revives a corpse using some connection with the controller, in this case a Shadow. Corpses have basic battle skills. + Fire: The re-dying corpses are now flaming undead, and are giving Dan a nice big hug. ???: Can deal internal damage to wherever Orochi-Kabuto touched with his hands, like a scalpel.

Leon Mori
Always the first to get hurt, Leon's body was pierced from three separate directions. Fox, Raiden and Kazuma, all digging into his flesh. "AUUGH!!" He yelled out in pain, before Raiden's words reached his ears. He simply smiled a cocky grin and responded, "Maybe so... But I'm used to it by now..." The second he stopped talking, he rose up one of his demonic arms and delivered a punch to the covered face of the Grey fox, with enough power to flip a freight train. For now, his Reason would assist closing his wounds. Quote: Demon Within {Reason: Yosuga] -Drastic physical strength and defence boost for 3 posts, with a 2 post cooldown. Rednal Ak'Thias - Puppet of Nyarlathotep!Liar-cheater-coward-weakling. All you are is afraid. You foolishly tried to take advantage of what time you have to enjoy yourself and allowed yourself to make friends. Yet all you are capable of doing is watching as they suffer and die. No matter how much power you obtain, it will never be enough. You will always be weaker than the chosen ones; you will only ever be able to walk behind them and support them as they take the stage. You are nobody, nothing, barely a face in the crowd. You will never be truly important; others are destined for far greater things. A life like yours is worthless. You cling madly to everything you think will make you important; that's why you let them stay in your house. You just want all the attention, all the glory; you are worthless, worthless! The physical body being subject to the words of Nyarlathotep staggered under the force of the blows directed against it. It hadn't been in particularly good shape to start with, not faced as it was with the power of the Crawling Chaos' attacks. Even with healing, a being on this level wasn't going to be taking light damage from what it was being subjected to, and this body hadn't been able to take those kinds of convenient things for very long. The body's eyes, in the meantime, seemed to have turned pitch-black as a result of the being raiding his soul, and the body's mouth twitched up and down as harsh sounds were forced out of his throat by his puppeteer. Dark, vicious words, cursing the team, humanity, and life in general, and a wave of darkness erupted out of the body, heading towards those were his allies even as the body went onto its knees, barely able to keep upright. Considering all the damage it had taken before, it certainly wasn't going to be able to last very long at all versus people trying to hurt it. In fact, the only thing that had saved it at all was the twisting of space itself as Nyarlathotep made a cruel copy of what Yidhra did to him... Quote: Rednal's Actions:-Ari Dance (Reduce Attack Power and Accuracy of All Enemies) [Passive] -Youkai's Sight (Detect Resistances of Enemies) [Passive] -Green Power Ring (Increase STR, VIT, MAG, and AGI; Slightly reduce damage; effect greatly reduced by lack of willpower) [Passive] - Regenerate 1 (Recover 2% HP per post) [Passive] [Decover active 2/3] -Nightmare (1/2 Recovery) [Reason: Akuma] -Luster Candy: All Stats Increased [3/3] -Chaos Wave: Defense Lowered -Action: Curse of Words [Target: I. Agito Mibu "Squalo" I will Devour the world and make it's Power my own ...we are the messengers
Agito let out a slightly agitated and disappointed sigh as he was grabbed before he reached the steps. He was not agitated because he was grabbed, but by in the manner in which he was grabbed. Did Raiden have to belittle him at every turn? Grabbing him by the head like some infant who was walking in the wrong direction? Raiden knew what he was doing..metallic b*****d. Anyway, Agito listened to his cold words nonetheless and, with a push to the head, stumbling backwards, his balance being thrown off by his head moving farther back than his body. Upon gaining balance, he glanced over his shoulder towards a fighter who seemed to be an interesting opponent, definitely had the strength. His golden eyes had found his next prey as he took a deep breath before a black ooze shot up around his body, covering his skin and solidifying to form a dark armor. If anything, as the thick glass-like material snapped down in front of Agito's face to form a robotic visor-like thing, Agito now followed the black messengers apparent robotic theme with the newly reformed Yoshizo being some form of robot and Raiden being..Raiden. Agito, in one quick motion, popped a machete from his armor, grabbed the blade with his fingertips, quickly pivoted and launched the machete towards [Kazuma] if anything, it was enough to get his attention, even though Agito didn't expect it to do much damage if any at all. Agito just didn't feel like running up to him and launching himself like he usually did. Agito seemed very lazy today for some reason.

Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader, and Rise Kujikawa, Investigation Team Idol It was the cruelest sort of trick but something that he knew he should have expected from a chaotic enemy such as Nyarlathotep; he had seen what it did to the minds of the strong like Tatsuya Suou and Naoya Toudou, twisting them and bending those who had once been heroes like himself in their own right into something dark and ominous, villains of the highest order of danger. This was the true ability of the Crawling Chaos, to wriggle its way into the minds of those who show a real potential and stay there quietly, whispering little epithets of promise, of fear, of pain for hours going on days and months and even in some cases years. It was the dark side of humanity, their destructive subconscious given birth in this hideous form that they saw before their eyes now, and it was inside all of them in its own way, even if its physical body resided elsewhere. Now, however, they had found it...standing toe-to-toe with it the same way that the SEES team had stood before the literal incarnation of Death more than two years earlier, the way that the remnants of their group had stood before Erebus, humanity's wish for death, and fought it back only a few months later. It was the destiny of teams such as theirs which pushed back the darkness to face more than simply the evils of the world, but the evils of themselves, the very evil which rested inside all of their hearts and in the black corners of their mind, that lingering remnant which gave the Crawling Chaos power and form and influence over humanity. Here it was before them, revealed in all of its chaotic glory, and with that black limb that had wrapped itself around the head of their friend it was doing what it did best...creating a place for itself inside of his mind, bending his thoughts, pushing back the light of the persona that had allowed him to fight, replacing it with an image of its own choosing with its own influence in its place. It twisted, tortured, and changed irrevocably all that it touched, and now Rednal was its latest plaything, turning him against the friends that he had pledged his strength to combat. And as Soji fought back to his feet and listened to the words of his beloved support specialist, he knew that whatever was happening inside that black cocoon around the silver-haired Junior's mind that there was no way they could stand and let it continue. They would stop this thing from getting any stronger, from ruining any more lives, and they would stop it right here...right now.
His hand glowed blue as he lashed like a streak of white light across the field and as he went he found himself weaving through the rain of black tentacles again, ducking and flipping, sometimes even bouncing off of the white masks lining the stringy appendages as he rocketed closer and closer to the fiend which stood before them. Inside his hand the power was glowing, hotter and hotter, stronger than before, strong as he could possibly make it as he was now; somewhere in the back of his mind he knew that he had never felt quite as good as he did in battle as he was feeling right now. Not since he had freed Tatsuya Suou from the influence of this thing and when he had thought he destroyed Hetero; his body was full of energy, cleansing and pure, and when he threw his hand forward and a massive non-elemental spell pierced the creature's stomach and exploded in a hail of celestial blue that he was steadily growing stronger, minute-by-minute, forcing out every last bit of the gift of the god and goddess that dwelt inside of him. "Megidolaon," his dual-toned voice bit the name and ripped it away again, spitting it as the power sent black ooze flying in speckles all over the floor of the Tower, and though they immediately sprung back to life and drug themselves back into the ever-changing body of this abyss of evil, it afforded him a precious moment to dodge back away from the slapping limbs of the beast before turning to his right and catching sight of his friend's body just as it unleashed a wave of darkness that hit each of them in-turn with more force than his worn out body should have had inside of it. Even Soji felt as though his body had been cursed, an impact shaking him and then gripping his muscles as though it were draining the life out of him, weakening him by some dark taint, but no sooner had he received damage than the spell was gone, forced out of him, though the hurt that it had done to him would remain. The Senior leaped into the sky and turned towards the arm which possessed his friend, his wand blazing golden and hot like the sun itself as he swung down towards the offending appendage and right in the spot that Rise had told him about he severed the thing from the main body of Nyarlathotep...yet still inside of his head, even as the limp body of his comrade dropped to the floor in a heap and the black about his eyes dissolved into nothing, he could still hear that whisper. 'You can't win like this!' the voice was louder now, where did he know it from?! Where? 'You need my power! Take it!' It was becoming louder, a scream inside of his head that made him wince mid-air and grip the side of his mask. ...It was all the hesitation that his enemy needed.
"Senpai, look out!" Rise's fearful voice screamed through her persona, but even as his silver-crowned head snapped to attention a mass of black limbs smashed into his back and forced him violently down, face-first into the obsidian floor of the Tower's precipice. He landed and there was a loud thud and a crack, his silver mask snapping in two with one half scattering far across the field only to be replaced with a thick mass of crimson...his face now was half that of his persona's mask, half bloody, weary human...but even as he struggled against it he could feel the repeated slams of the tentacles taking their toll, never letting up on him, each singular writhe or push met with a superior smash, more tentacles crushing down into the center of his shoulders or his legs or arms...until finally, it was less a pushing, replaced with a sudden pulling that ripped him up from the floor and gripped each of his four limbs, tearing him into the sky over the heads of his teammates where it held him fast and firm, pulling as though he were being ripped apart at every joint, drawn and quartered like some medieval traitor being executed by his lord. His shoulders and hips and knees and elbows all screamed out in bloody agony, but as he threw his head back to laugh he was gripped around the throat and constricted, unable to even force the sound of his pain to pass his lips, replaced only with a stifled gurgling noise that would have churned the stomach of his allies if they heard it. Inside of his mind that voice was now a deafening roar, pleading and cajoling, begging him to do something that he just couldn't place, like a skill that you had forgotten you have, on the edge of your mind and the tip of your tongue but you can't quite call it to mind. He couldn't recall it...and he was painfully crucified, strung up high above his allies as Nyarlathotep turned its attention back onto the team that had stood behind him, now ready to unleash the fierce onslaught that it had been preparing all along for them. Vaguely, he could almost hear the desperate cries, pleas from his girlfriend for anybody to help him...for him to break free or find some hidden power and escape this creature...his teeth were tightly grit and he fought against his bonds but couldn't quite manage to hear her clearly. It was so very loud... 'Use it! USE ME! USE ME!!!'
Meanwhile, at Rise the tears had sprung to her eyes in a hopeless, frightful instant as her boyfriend was caught in a suddenly-massive torrent of shadow limbs that smashed him to the floor and crushed into his back unforgiving and deadly, over and over smashing her shining hero before lifting him wickedly into the air and tearing at his very seams as if it wanted to see him burst and all the stuffing come rushing out through the empty holes. She had gasped and found her breath stolen away, hope stolen away, her breaking heart stifled only by the desperate thought that somebody could help him, somebody needed to help him! Stretching out her persona desperately she cried out for him, for somebody, for anybody to come to their rescue and sever the bonds that tied him! "Yukiko, Faust, Rednal, Kanji, Zeo, somebody! Help him! PLEASE!" she cried as she sunk to her knees, covering her eyes as hope seemed so very far away from all of them, so impossible to recover from such a wicked turn, and she couldn't watch what it was doing to the person that she loved any longer. Somewhere in her chest there was a faint stirring, though, as though there were a voice calling out inside of her mind. It mingled with the chaotic tug in her heart but she couldn't hear either with despair so prominent in her mind. There was no hope if they couldn't save him...she couldn't watch, couldn't survive if he were to die right here and now. Feebly she moved a hand from her eyes and reached out forward, as if calling to something inside of Soji Seta...some draw that could pull him back to her or her to him, some calling...but it was just when the veil seemed as though this pervasive feeling might pierce it that Nyarlathotep centered its focus back onto the rest of the team, Soji's potential salvation, and redoubled its relentless assault that all hope seemed to shatter and fade away, attacks leaving each of them in no condition to help their leader...or really, themselves.
It began with a white power that passed through Zeo like it had Rednal and Faust before it, no damage but an effect coming with it that he would instantly recognize when the healing factors ceased to affect him. Then, reaching out with a black tentacle it snatched faster than their eyes could read the green-haired trap that had been trying to cause it trouble and with a gaping shadow mouth wrapped about his head and forced a thin-lipped mask over where his face should have been. Jerking him violently over towards its side of the battlefield, it set him against his foes even as Rednal's opportunity to recover had come. ...Only there would be no time to recover as somewhere inside of the black creature there was a power stirring, a tugging, chaotic power that would have each of the team suddenly recognizing that their defenses had been lowered consistently over time, each spell that they hadn't spent in restoring their durability coming back to haunt them in a major fashion. Overhead Soji could feel the ominous weight of it and struggled harder, only digging his arms deeper into their bonds and twisting his elbows into a very painful angle...and before them, Faust only seemed to stand, wavering like some sort of a macabre puppet before them, taunting them with his nonchalance just as the wave of black-violet power erupted from the core of the being and struck them all, knocking them with a merciless ferocity to their backs where they would find themselves almost perfectly content to stay. The very strength in their hearts had been crushed with a single blow...their health shot and their hope taunted with a sudden overwhelming mass of chaotic energy that cajoled the darkness out of the far reaches of their minds. 'You can't win. You never could!' it seemed to whisper inside their minds, 'It's so comfortable here...so warm. Just close your eyes...sleep...' It was as these thoughts, this darkness, this hopeless, all-pervasive feeling rang out inside of their heads and thrummed in their hearts that large, ominous shadows began to loom overhead...raised tentacles with ends sharpening into points as they lined up targets, the very minds of its enemies that he could pierce and ensnare, more tools for whatever machinations it had planned for humanity to engineer its downfall. This was the moment that Nyarlathotep had been waiting for...the hour of its victory! And in the moment it seemed that the voice inside of the Investigation Team's Leader, their greatest hope, began to scream out in a voice that was undeniable and insistent, demanding that it be heard this very second or every last ounce of hope in the world would be snuffed out in an instant!
'AWAKEN!'
Inside of the boy's mind, two voices suddenly merged into one and the realization dawned at the voice that had been silenced now coming back into the light. 'Izanami?!
Suddenly, his eyes shot wide open...but replacing the clouded depths of his irises and the black, lighted pupils of his eyes were a thick mass of crimson, lined with black here and there, and now as clear as day he could hear that voice inside of his mind screaming that single word, that single command, driving him and building up in power inside of his body even as he remained bound by the grip of the Crawling Chaos itself. 'Awakening, Awakening, AWAKENING!' it repeated like a chorus, and unbeknown to him, with each word the power building up inside of him grew into a great red light which emanated from the very center of his body...shining like a miniature, dying sun...bigger and bigger, little tendrils of sheer power crackling and ripping across the surface until the whole thing had become larger than he was, 'Awakening, AWAKENING, AWAKENING!' And then all at once, the energy condensed...straight into the core of his being...and a single voice inside of his mind whispered, a mixture of feminine and masculine, echoing, noble sounds like a man and a woman mingling inside of his heart. Their words were clear. 'Thou art I...' they echoed, '...and I am Thou...'
--------------------
And then suddenly, everything inside his mind was white.
And he was sitting for a moment back inside of a room of thick Velvet. Staring across the table, he could see the eyes of someone...it was...not Igor? No, it was someone different...a man with a black ponytail. White and gold were the colors on his butterfly mask.

His name was...it was...
"You who bear this burden, hope of humanity, to be the light of hope when all others fade..." his words seemed to ring, "...what is it that you seek?" His words were quiet, muted, but clear as a mountain spring and just as refreshing to his mind.
Soji didn't need to think. Only smile...a little light inside of his eyes and a warm feeling deep inside his heart.
"I want the power to protect my friends," he whispered back, his voice seeming to please the old man in front of him, "I want them to have the power to protect themselves...when I'm gone.'
And then, strangely, there was almost a sad look in the blank eye of the man across from him. Yet it passed in an instant. And before him appeared several cards, all turning, all shining, lined with a crimson light.
"As you wish."
----------------
It was like red fireflies exploding into the air all around him.
His crimson eyes shot open and a loud, piercing cry erupted from his throat in three voices that ripped into the heavens and sent cold chills down the backs of those who heard it. It was agony, hope, effort, all the range of his feelings, every fiber of his spirit wound into one cry that rose up and descended upon his friends like a reminder that they were alive! And then suddenly, those red fireflies descended, shot like they were arrows fired from the white hot string of a celestial bow. Down to the top of the Tower and even the floor below the shot ripped through the levels and pierced the very hearts of their targets; not his enemies, no, and no blood dripped, no wounds ripped, and nothing seemed to change inside of the hearts of those who had been stricken except for their spirits which grew...and a power that had lain dormant inside of them which was now beginning to awaken. Red sweater, green coat, skull-imprinted t-shirt, black school jacket, blue detective's coat, yellow ribbon, fuzzy bear suit...each of his friends felt the red pass through them, and all about their bodies a crimson light began to awaken, burning in their hearts, filling them with a strange power that was unusual and yet so very familiar! And then, suddenly, those trademark clothes of theirs began to shift and change, the voice inside of their mind that had changed once when their personae evolved suddenly sounded so very familiar...like an old friend who had given way to the new, only mingling with the sound of their own voice. And over their bodies there grew armor, in their hands there came weapons, over their heads and their shoulders and their very feet a change was coming over them that was reminiscent of another they had seen very recently, the form of the friend from which the power had come. It covered them all until at last the work of the crimson power was finished, and with a crackle of renewed energy they were filled to the brim with this strange power...the power of Awakening.
Fused together with their personae, the Original Investigation Team had been reborn.
And yet, they weren't the only ones. Crimson fireflies, or maybe it was...butterflies?...shot through the chests of the others, and even though their bodies didn't change there was a feeling like a seal being broken away from a lid. The top of the jar ripped away to let all of the air at once. It was like...all that was sleeping inside of them was beginning to wake, and abilities with names that had been sealed in the far reaches of their mind were suddenly tangible, the power obtainable, all they had to do was reach out and wrap their fingers around them, to clutch them tightly!
'Thou art I...' the voices inside their head mingled and whispered, 'and I am thou...'
And just like that, the tide of battle was beginning to turn...Quote: Rednal is freed from possession! Faust has been possessed! Soji is bound by Nyarlathotep!

Rednal Ak'ThiasRednal's body hit the floor, steaming from the force of Soji's spell, and lay there even as the leader of their team severed the tendril that had burrowed into his mind. As Soji's power swept through the area, however, Yidhra appeared in the air above Rednal's body. I will not permit you to leave me so easily! the girl roared as one of her many hair-mouths plunged into his body, infusing him with a powerful surge of energy and jolting him back to consciousness even as his wounds closed. What effects Nyarlathotep had inflicted on him had vanished when Rednal had been knocked unconscious, but his Persona had refused to let him fall so easily, and was returning him to the land of the conscious and healthy. "Let's... not ever... do that again." he muttered as he held a hand to his face. He could feel Yidhra lurking in the back of his mind, getting ready for her comeback in full force, and he nodded. Green light shot out of the ring on his finger, aiming for the tendril that was controlling Faust and forming into a giant pair of scissors that his will slammed down on the wire of madness. For far, far too long, he had been possessed by an avatar of madness and malice, a deity that sought chaos in the world and destruction among people... which wasn't actually that unusual, truthfully, but the normal madness was largely benevolent (or indifferent, rather, but selfish and possessive in a way that could be viewed as concerned with something's safety, from a certain point of view) and it was easily tamed by beef jerky. That had been an interesting discovery. The other one... not so much, and he'd gone so far down the path to madness that had it lasted much longer, he might never have been able to come back at all. But he could still feel his Persona's embrace, and Yidhra was whispering to him that when she returned in earnest, which would be shortly, they were going to have some real firepower to show. "Get ready, Yidhra!" he said as the light from his ring flashed brighter under the force of his determination to see this through to the end, and even as the scissors came down on the tendril, an enormous drill made of green light shot towards Nyarlathotep's main body. The ultimate ideal of a man, and a symbol of human nature. With every turn, just like with every step, drills and humans both went a little more forward, and Rednal couldn't think of a more appropriate shape for a weapon at this time. Quote: Rednal's Actions:-Ari Dance (Reduce Attack Power and Accuracy of All Enemies) [Passive] -Youkai's Sight (Detect Resistances of Enemies) [Passive] -Green Power Ring (Increase STR, VIT, MAG, and AGI; Slightly reduce damage; Hard-Light attack) [Passive] -Regenerate 1 (Recover 2% HP per post) [Passive] -Nightmare (2/2 Recovery) [Reason: Akuma] -Enduring Soul (Revive from KO with full HP, once per battle) [Endure] -Action: Hard-Light Attack [Target: Tendril possessing Faust/Nyarlathotep] (High Wind Damage to Targets)

Dan Sekohara As the flames of the death raged around him Dan's body began to shrink back to a normal size. The huge muscles and increased height of DAN MAN! faded and all that was left was a battered and bruised Dan beneath the weight and heat of four flaming zombies. They were heavy and no matter how he struggled or thrashed the weight had begun to crush his hope. Beneath the flaming carcasses that his enemy had summoned Dan's mind faded into the everlasting fog of the afterlife. He had been to this place before, lonely, quiet. Last time he had been saved by the awakening touch of Soji but this time... Dan wasn't holding his breath. Soji was strong, confident, probably up there kicking all kinds of shadow a** right now, but dan was back to the fog by himself this time. A gentle breeze played through his hair, now black, as it was beneath the thick coat of dye. In death he was not DAN MAN! protector of humanity, he was Dan Sekohara, a name and nothing more that would pass into obscurity with the changing winds of time. The fog was luminescent, a soft light visible from the other side somewhere far from where he was. "So this is it..." Dan's feet were compelled to motion, he could not wait here on the banks of life he would have to ford the river styx and enter the underworld like so many spirits had before him.
Dan, approaching the shoreline of the pale river, removed his shoes and placed them carefully to the side. He wouldn't need them where he was going. Hesitantly the young hero turned to the land of life where his mortal form had fallen limp beneath the heap of flames and rot. "I'm sorry Soji-san...I couldn't fulfill my promise." With a long heavy sigh Dan stepped into the river, its warm waters soothing his departure from the world. One after another the steps became a slow procession as he waded deeper and deeper until the river was at his waist. At that moment, across the battlefield also cloaked by darkness Soji made a final request of an ancient God. Dan could not see it but far off in the distance he could hear the voices softly chanting: Awakening, Awakening, Awakening... Dan turned to the noise for only a moment but then turned back towards the light on the other side of the fog, he was half through the river styx, there was no turning back any more.
Across the battlefield flew crimson butterflies who's light was like a beacon in the dark because even as Dan waded across the river Styx the creature of light entered his dying body. In that foggy crossroads the butterfly came to him and sat upon his shoulder to which the water had risen. "Thou art I... and I am thou." Dan's black hair seemed to prickle at the words. Soji? He thought to himself as he heard the words. He turned again towards the shore of life... there was nothing. With another heavy withered sigh the black haired boy turned his head away again."You who have given all in the defense of the weak, why do you fight?" The question was simple in Dan's eyes; again he turned to watch the shore of life. "Because that is what it means to be a hero." He called off into the fog hoping that whatever it was had heard him. Unconsciously Dan took a step back towards life, straining to hear the voice again, its warm timbre much more comforting that the waters of that endless river."You, Dan Sekohara, claim to be a hero yet you walk to the land of Hades without a second thought." Dan's hair bristled again this time the black lightening to a soft gray as he spoke: "I...I'm weak! I couldn't protect them!" Now his voice was loud, angry, he wasn't worthy of the power he had if he couldn't use it to protect his friends. "IF I CAN'T KEEP A HERO'S PROMISE WHY DO I DESERVE TO LIVE?!" He screamed into the fog a tear streaming down off his cheek. The voice sighed softly as though disappointed in the young man who was now only submerged up to his knees."It is not strength that makes a hero." Dan looked down at his bare feet, the waters had receded again and now only lapped gently over his toes. "No...it is the size of a hero's heart." The voice seemed pleased, and a bright light began to emanate from Dan's chest right above his heart. The light spread around him and in the brightness his hair took up its familiar color. White as un-driven snow Dan stood on the shores of life.
"I am thou, and thou art I... From the fires of your heart I come... I am your power to banish the darkness, I, light bring light to the deepest shadows... Zeus Mark 1."
From within the pile of burning corpses there was an explosion of light. Dan's body shook with the immense power that awakened within him. "I shall cleanse this world of your shadows!" Dan's voice seemed to echo from beneath the flames as light began to shine through the cracks in the zombie dog pile. Suddenly the four flaming corpses were flung away from the shining center of light and strewn across the floor. The dead had been flung away and Dan's eyes narrowed on Kabuto. The blinding light that surrounded him faded slightly and Dan became completely visible standing with one hand gripped tightly on the Dan Hammer and the other with a bright light in its palm. "DAN LANCE!" Dan screamed his command with holy furry and before him appeared the floating blue card. Time to finish this. With a violent swing Dan shattered the card and above him appeared a giant mech with green wings and two lances in his hands. The Zeus mk.1's lances suddenly became sheathed in a blinding light that extended them and seemed to glow with the brightness of the sun. Suddenly the giant bot struck forward plunging the two weapons towards Kabuto. As the thrust stopped the light burst outwards with almighty force ripping across the landscape of tartarus like a falling star. Dan's hair shined whiter than ever in the pale glow of the yellow moon stronger than ever his hero's spirit surrounding him in a light glow.
Quote: DAN MAN! {Reason: Yosuga} - Increased strength (3 Posts Active, 2 Post Cool-down) [Cooldown 1/2] Dan Hammer Recoil - Dan May not attack for two turns [2/2] DAN LANCE - [Severe Almighty Damage, One Target, Can be activated regardless of the effect of Dan Hammer, 3 turn cool down]

▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ❛♚⊰ :KANJI TATSUMI.zero x neon YOU MESS WITH THE BULL, YOU GET THE HORNS! The attack that Kanji had just laid down didn’t seem to have little to know effect at all. There were no signs of damage, but there were visible signs of this beast wanting more carnage to be done; and it was going to get it through its destructive blast that was unleashed upon him and the others. A strong yell of anguish came from the bleached haired man as he flew back; Nyarlathotep’s strength was unimaginable; this was far worse than fighting Hetero hands down. After crashing onto the ground Kanji immediately rolled onto his belly, everything was stinging from flesh to bone; he tried to get back up only to have blood come coughing out of his mouth. He was hurt, everyone was hurt, and to make it even worse Rednal was one of the first people to be enslaved by the creature’s tentacles. The only chance to save the man was to knock him out, everyone was quick to pull in the effort to stop their friend from doing harm. Kanji however was going to charge in after Nyaralthotep himself with Soji to try and stop this madness. He could already feel the tensing of his bleeding muscles beckoning him to stop this, "I can’t give in..." muttered the delinquent as he took of charging. His eyes was flaring up with rage as he dashed forward, he had no weapon, but that didn’t matter; if need be he would bash this thing in with his own two fists! He could not just stand by and watch his friends fight each other due to Nyarlathotep’s devious tricks nor could he let Soji tackle this thing on his own.
He kept going, faster and faster. The more his pushed the more he could feel his wounds sting about with blood gushing out, he was like a charging bull making it’s last stand. With his fist burning red the only thing Kanji could ever think about was to defeat Nyaralthotep and end everything once and for all! He leaped forward with his arm pulling back as if it was a shotgun being loaded, he didn’t know if this was going to work or not, but if anything it would give Soji enough to stop it; or at least he would hope that it would be the case. All of it was in vain in the end; there was another blast of the creature’s attack, all Kanji could see was a white blur. His body went numb and then everything went black.
He could barely breath, as his body lied there on the floor, his conscious was fading, the fight was leaving him. Even if he had the will the pain was just too much, bleeding wounds continue to flow as everything seemed to slip away. Was this the end? After all of this Kanji would had to face death’s door for a second time. He would think that Soji would somehow save him, that he would somehow make everything better, but there was no soji…only darkness. “Oh how the mighty have fallen..” a voice was ringing through his head….” Who are….wait…” It was hard to recognize at first, but very soon the deep strong voice was known, “Rokuten Maoh?” There was silence yet again and then a full hearted laughter roared throughout his mind, “Who else would it be, hmm, I see that you gotten yourself into a fierce fight..” Kanji didn’t know what to think of this, he couldn’t feel his lips moving and yet he was talking to his persona clearly, “ Yeah…getting our asses handed to us. Ain’t nothing we can do to stop that guy…” Kanji’s voice turned frail upon admitting such, but it was the truth no matter how much it pained him to admit such defeat. “Wow, didn’t think you had it in you to give up like that..” Kanji could feel the disappointment in his persona voice, it was like bullets piercing his heart. “Well what the hell do you want from me?!” he yelled at the top of his lungs, or at least the thought of it. Compared to Soji, Kanji was weak, he couldn’t even make a dent to that thing; none of them did! If there was a chance to fight back then Kanji would have done it, but now he was on the verge of death and there was nothing…nothi- “It’s time to hit the basics runt.”
Kanji didn’t know what he meant by that, he yelled out for answers, but there was only silence. Outside of his mind Kanji’s body began to levitate off the ground by some unknown force; a blinding light enveloped his body soon afterwards. The wounds from the body were quickly healing, his heart was beating stronger, and his eyes were now wide open; for the second time of his life Kanji was alive! This was different than the last time he was resurrected, there was something overflowing within him; it felt as if electricity was surging throughout his blood, giving him the strength he needed to move on and then some. The light soon faded giving, which made things visible to the delinquent, and to his shock the man was now encased in a skull patterned armor, blue and red cords connecting at the arm, his school shirt hanged from the neck like a cape, and finally in his hand there was a lightning bolt shaped blade that was just sparking with electricity. No amount of words could express how Kanji was reacting to this, though the mouth dropping expression said it all, he didn’t understand this get up at all, but something about it seem familiar. ”As I said…we’re hitting the basics.” his persona’s voice ranged through his head, but it sounded different; much younger than it was. Took him just a quick moment to click everything together, the skull pattern, the lightning sword, “Take-Mikuzuchi?! Wait Now I’m you?!-“ ”I am Thou…” “Or does that mean-“ “And Thou art I…” “Wait you’re not making any sense!” “We…are One!” That was enough to get Kanji to quiet down and realize that his persona fused with him, just as Soji and Izanagi did in the Hetero battle.
He could feel it, the element of lightning flowing from within. Nyaralthotep had just occupied Soji and took over the body of Faust; Kanji couldn’t believe much had happened in only seconds. Sparks of electricity was sent flying out of his body as Kanji glared down at the creature, his fist began to tightened as more electricity discharged itself from Kanji’s body. He could sense that his burning grip was telling him, no, it was downright demanding for Nyarlathotep’s defeat. With his anger at it’s peak Kanji’s body exploded with lightning, the electricity wrapped itself around his body giving it the equivalent appearance of armor. With just one step Kanji zipped past everyone and was now standing next to Nyaralthotep with his arm that was just about to crash into the fiend’s neck. He didn’t know how this power was given, but he wasn’t complaining much; all he wanted right now was to take this thing down; all he could say now was just two very simple words. “Get. Bent.”

Orochi-Kabuto, 'Shadow' Member of the Black MessengersLimp bodies fell left and right, thrown off by the new surge of power from the Investigation Team member as he recovered, while the corpses at last fell to the enveloping flames that they'd been hit with. "Come now, is that the best you've got?" Orochi-Kabuto grinned as the spear of light was incoming, and prepared to move out of the way; but stopped, not quite in time! The blast tore through his body, and flesh gave way before the almighty damage the right side of a torso, arm and all was torn from the main body which was hurled to the side, lifeless. For an instant, it must have seemed like Dan had emerged victorious, complete in one move now that he'd been reinvigorated. Then, one of the bodies that had fallen down upon him previously shot up from underneath, and a hand grabbed the back of his neck, twisting and slamming him into the ground harshly. "Impressive technique, isn't it? Altering a corpse to look like you takes quite the surgical hands you know." Orochi-Kabuto taunted as the hat that had hung a little too low on the 'zombie' before fell to the side, revealing the slightly burned but otherwise grinning face of the manipulator Dan had chosen. A hand rose and shot down to impale the student's chest, Dan flipped and a kick grazed his face, and just as Dan slipped out of his grasp, Orochi-Kabuto's hands clapped together to form dark energy. "This should just about do it." The white skinned Messenger let out a chuckle as his spell whipped through the room, a little tasteless for him, but more than effective in the situation. Quote: Kabuto: Dead Soul Technique: Temporarily revives a corpse using some connection with the controller, in this case a Shadow. Corpses have basic battle skills. and Kusuri Keiraku, the violent JuniorKusuri had crumpled to the ground as the man struck her ankles, having fallen almost face first, but catching herself lightly. And as the man cast the darkness spell, she felt herself starting to fade. "If I.." she started as she slumped, struggling to hold on. She couldn't...Die here..Get up. A voice called to her, as she felt herself holding onto life. I'm....trying.. she called, wincing. If I just had...some..healing... Her card appeared before her, and she raised her hand to break it, before suddenly feeling completely rejuvenated, heaving herself back up. "But...Why? How?" she called, as she turned to face the one who had been taking them on so much. Something was....different. She could feel it inside her. She felt......Strong. Stronger than she ever had been before. "Round two you Son of a b***h!" she called as she prepared herself, the voice almost egging her on to continue the fight.Quote: Primal instinct: 3/4 Kusuri Rage! 4/6] Passive Skill: Endure (survive a lethal blow with 1Hp Activated skill: Diarahan: (Restore all Hp of 1 Ally)

Faustus Necromonium, the Trappish Junior As Faust heard Rednal start at them, he braced himself. However, thethe Darkness spell didn't affect him, flying back at Rednal instead, thanks to Mythos's influence. Just as Faust had felt the power come over him from their leader, the tendril had made it's way over to his side, and he was powerless to stop or dodge it.
Feeling his mind go blank, and the now masked hero's wings started to flutter out of existence, having slowly wearing down. The power boost from the luster candy having vanished too, which was good. Otherwise, as the figure cast a Magarula at the group, it would have hurt a lot more. Quote: Divinity: 4/4: Speed boost ends at this post Magarula: (I-team) (Wind Boosted)
