Does anyone else consider Joel Osteen as a false prophet? A lot of Christians listen to him, yet he contradicts the Bible. That is not good for a person in his position to do, as millions may do as he preaches to them. No one should be a teacher if they're going to teach contradictions, and anyone who teaches contradictions should be corrected.


my experience on Joel Osteen: he is just like many of the other televangelists, using Jesus and our Lord as a paycheck. He is more businessman than prophet, turning beliefs into money.

I do not know much about this man, but I just watched him on television. I do not think he mentioned Christ once. His whole focus was money, he was telling the audience how he feels sick for days after he gives a lot of money. Doesn't this mean he is bonded to money? You shouldn't feel any pain from giving up money. If you do, that is where your heart is, its not on Christ. I do not know but it just disturbed me watching him. At the end of the show he was telling everyone to just give 1000 that its not for him or the station but for the giver to be blessed. His church is not one I would want to give to if they are not even preaching the true message of Jesus Christ. Yes Jesus will bless you for giving, but you wont inherit the kingdom of God because of this.


True this. I'm working on not being attached with objects of this world because I didn't read the whole paragraph here. Works come after repentance
