Okay so for Lenelee's benefit since I've never gotten around to editing stuff in after in my diary here, I'm gonna sit down and tell about the blessing.

(sorry if my memory is a bit foggy)
Okay so the first time, we had the Buddhist altar and we went outside. We bought a mini tub thing and my dad filled it with cold water and our family friend put in some jasmine? flowers and there was some kind of oil mixed with it too. So we sat in front of the house on stools and the monk begins chanting or something and pours water from the tub on us. It was COLD!!! And every time it's poured on us we have to wipe our face, and er, armpits. I'm guessing it's a type of cleansing thing.

Then we changed into dry clothes and he pulls up a chair near the altar and lights an incense. I remember the first time, I went first and I was looking at everyone with scared eyes because one end was on fire and I thought it had something to do with the fire. So our friend was like "No, it doesn't hurt!" so I'm like okay. Then I had to stick out my tongue, he puts a napkin under my tongue so he could write on it with the incense stick but not with the burning end xD It didn't hurt, and it had a funny, but not unpleasant after taste.
Then he wrote on my forehead which stung wherever he wrote and then he wrote on my scalp which you could feel but it didn't hurt.

Oh and apparently everyone's tongue means something and mine is the same as our family friend's tongue and he told her what it means but no one will tell me or my mom or dad what it means.

Then he goes around and uses a tied stick of sorts (I dunno what it is, I'm guessing it's a bunch of like, strips of a certain type of wood tied together) and puts it in holy water and basically flings it at us. Let me tell you, it makes you flinch xD

Then he uses the same stick to put in the holy water and flings it in every room to bless the house.

Oh, and he's chanting in latin during each of these.

Second time was the same, though he looked at me and told me that the teachers were gonna take notice of me more this year (which my mom translated for me since I thought he said that they were gonna be scared of me)

Third time, which was yesterday, he did the cleansing water in front of the house, but this time after we dressed up and went into the living room and he was sitting next to the altar, he just flung water at us and smacked our backs (not painfully though, but it still makes you flinch) with his tied stick thing. Then he flings water at you again and he said that was all this time and he went on blessing the house.



There ya go =] Since I was too lazy before xD

Lol yea it's pretty cool. I'm totally glad that I'm having culture now since I don't have much culture in the language department xD

My mom's been bugging me lately to speak more but I'm just afraid of being corrected and saying stuff wrong. Eesh, it's a thing with me. Must be part of the rejection fear or something. Most likely the failure fear.

mhm mhm especially if its in your heritage =D

Okay so, I get to school. Chemistry was cool. I like the teacher, she's really nice which is really good since I hear Chemistry is a hard subject. Plus I hear she's a really good teacher.

Spanish was good =] My Asian boy crush was a little less obvious this time. Since people moved my seat (not that I minded much) I decided to move to the table and he's like "I'll move with you" but he never did. Must have gotten embarrassed or something.

English was eh. The teacher totally hounds us with homework and work and UGH! Yea, not gonna like this class.

Hope =] So it's a mixture of health and pe and this was our pe day. Me and Shawna are becoming friends which is really good because I've been wanting to be friends with her for a long time. Honestly, even though I'm still sore into the night from that class, I know it's gonna be a blast.

Web Design: Super cool! I love this class. I realized that notebook was even more significant than I thought! Holy crud!
I'll be creating websites in no time, I swear.

Algebra: Oh. My. Gosh. Okay so it's fairly easy. Amazing, because that means it was way easier than geometry. Probably because now I'm around hard working people though xD
Speaking of hard working people. I made a new friend Dylan. He's so cool and funny, he's another person that I've managed to make friends with that I wanted to with last year but never got a chance to.
But at the end of class me and him started talking. Somehow we got on the topic of boys scouts. He said he used to be in it and he was a leader and him and other leaders went to some leadership camp.
Apparently for a whole week they talked about one nasty volatile thing which I won't even say. The whole week, they never changed subject once, never broadened the subject.
Well to conclude this disturbing insight into the boys scouts, he said that if I ever get a sex change (which I shouldn't because I'm too pretty) to never join the boy scouts.

The I'm too pretty comment caught me by surprise. But he has a girlfriend which is what bothers me most. >_>

And well, short story short (I promise I'll elaborate later) but I broke into my house for my first time today because I forgot my keys xD
I had a popsicle afterward for... celebration? Congratulations? I just forgot the word xD
