Doesn't the subbed version have something like that?
I mean, they don't write it, but I hear it every so often:
"Dattebayo" (forgive my spelling xp )
or something along the lines of that sweatdrop

when naruto says dattebayo in the subbed version, it is more like an american's over use of the word(s) "you know", "definatly", or "like". if you directly translate it, it come out something like beleive it, but in english it just does not sound as asthetically pleasing as dattebayo.

How did the americans develop believe it? it dosent say that at all in the japanese. thats another reason why I like the sub versions better in animes because in american they always change everything. Its so gay.

It's either the translation of "Dattebayo" or, it's like this: "Damn it we need three more syllables for Naruto's quote oh gee I know we'll just stick in 'Believe it!' gosh am I the direct decendant and/or reincarnation of Einstien or what?! blaugh '---> stare
We don't mind "Dattebayo" Because we're not Japanese and don't speak it. So, "Dattebayo' just blends in with the quote, and we don't mind or notice it.
