"I don't know, but it doesn't feel friendly. The only person I know of that would follow me is my brother Reshawn. He's the one that turned me." Selena looks more pale then usual after talking.

"He'd cause as much trouble as he could." Selena continues to look around. "I don't know why he would come after me after all these years. It's been almost two hundred years. We need to keep moving, I don't want to just sit here like a target."

Selena leads her horse out onto a main road and quickly starts to leave the town behind.

Gideon followed close behind her, making sure to keep alert.

Once they reach a wooded area she slows a bit, normal sounds and starting to pick up once again. "If that was my brother back there we're going to need to travel to my human family as fast as possible. I need to make sure that he hasn't harmed them." Selena sighs after she speaks, rubbing her hands over her face. "Reshawn was a very violent man when he was human, and became even more so once he was turned." She turns to look at Gideon.

Gideon looked at her, his face serious. "If he's harmed your family, I will help you to rid the world of him," he said.

Selena almost seems to sag with relief. "Thank you. I don't know if I could have killed him all by myself. I will be forever in your debt for this."

Selena smiles at him, blushing a bit as she does. "I thank you again. You are most generous." She keeps the horses moving. "I think it may be best to try to find a cae before morning, there aren't a lot of villages around this area so finding an inn to stay in is going to be difficult."

Gideon nodded. "Finding a cave would be wise," he said. "Besides, we don't want to endanger humans for no reason by leading your brother to an inn."

"My thoughts exactly. I know of a few caves in the area that should be of good use for us." Selena leads them off the trail, seeming to know where she is going without one. "I'd also rather not travel along the trail because we'd still be sitting ducks."
