 -------------------- Astyrin had gone into a trance while watching the flames dancing in the fireplace. It was interrupted, however, by a knock on her door and she sighed in annoyance. Pushing herself up out of the armchair, she brushed some of her long, red hair out of her face before walking to the door and opening it.
She was greeted with two vampires and a young girl with bright blue eyes. Her annoyance evaporated immediately as she remembered why they were there. Looking back to the girl's two escorts, she nodded her head. "Leave" she said simply, her voice showing no emotion. She waited until they were out of sight before a small smile crossed her lips and she stood to the side of the door, motioning to the young girl to come into the room. If she ran, Astyrin would be able to catch her in no time so she was not worried.-------------------- Astyrin

As soon as the first rays sun shone over the city, Sylan opened up the trap door and headed down. When the lingering vampires saw him reach the main hall they all fled to shadowy areas of the main room and he opened the front door. He knew the other vampires didn't like his hunting at day, but what else could he do. It was one of the ways he avoided being attacked by slayers and they couldn't afford to lose any more Ancients He glanced over .
"Rise and fall, rise and fall. That's all the sun does."
He said as he shut the door and walked slowly into the main part of town. When he spotted someone who looked like a good meal he simply held his hand out to them. A young boy's eyes misted over and he took Sylvan's hand. With a small gentle smile he bit the boys neck, drank only one pint of blood, covered up the bite marks, and sent the boy on his way back to his parents. He did this to about five other people so he was properly fed.
"I wonder if anything interesting is going to happen today."
He said with a sigh and sat down on a bench, an air of royalty around him.
Daniel blinked when he saw that he had missed the dummy and stabbed his rapier into the stone wall behind it.
"Damn."
He said as he wrenched it out of the wall, put it away, and lay on his bed. He glanced over at a clock on the wall and sighed.
'Too late to talk to the old man."
He said and shut his eyes.

Ryssa
The Poor Lost Lamb
Ryssa watched the door open, she felt fear flood her body, she pulled her eyes down, staring at the stone floor. She didn't really know what was happening, but she was scared, she could feel her heart pounding in her chest, almost as if it wanted to escape, she watched the door open and found her self staring down at a pair of feet, she noticed hair around this leg level along with alot of red. Her eyes slowly moved uptowards the body, thought they stopped as her eyes landed on the woman's bare stomache. She moved stopped dead in her tracks hearing the womans emotionless voice. Feeling the two Vampires leave he felt vonerable and scared, her eyes traveled up to the woman's face, trying to read her actions.
Finding her felt breathing deeply she stared at the female pulling back slightly, she stumbled slightly, her eyes locked onto the woman, fear was flooding her body, her heart pounded, her breathing increased. She found her self pulling back once again, she turned on her heals and fled as fast as she could.

-------------------- The fear radiating from the young girl was almost tangible to Astyrin. She watched the girl moving away. She was going to run. Of course she would. They all tried it even though there was nowhere to go. When she took off running, Astyrin sighed and stepped out of her room, looking at the retreating girl's back for a second before taking off down the hall after her. The door to her room slammed shut behind her and echoed down the hall.
She caught up to the girl in seconds and grabbed one of her arms, stopping her in her tracks. "Now now..where do you think you were going to go?" she asked softly. "It is not safe out here for a human girl..let me take you somewhere safer, hm?" She smiled slightly and wrapped an arm around the girl before teleporting back to her room. Releasing the girl, she walked over to the fireplace and looked down into the fire. "Do you know why you are here, Ryssa?" she asked, turning away from the fire again. Now she really did not have to worry about the girl running, the metal door would probably be a bit too heavy for her to handle. Which was the point behind it. -------------------- Astyrin

Rayne stood on top of a building unaware of what time it was. She sat on the edge sad but unknown of the reason. She began to mumble the song Sia - Breathe Me. Through out the song people looked up at her. Tears strolled down her face and she wiped the tears from her eyes.

The Poor Lost Lamb
Ryssa found her self being grabbed in mid run, she felt a little dazed and confused, it was an odd feeling that then hit her body, she felt safe feeling the woman's arm around her, but at the same time was scared.
Feeling warmth touch her body Ryssa's eyes moved around a room, her eyes searched for a way out... a large door... ugh she wouldn't beable to free her self that way, she then noticed a window. Her eyes snapped towards it feeling almost hope, but that was dashed hearing the womans voice, "I-I don't know..." She said in fear, frightened, which was pasted all her face, how did the woman know her name? She looked around till her eyes set onto the carpet. She wouldn't beable to get out of the window. She slowly moved onto the floor, setting her bottom on the ground she hugged her legs tightly watching the woman.

Rayne felt the heat and jumped up. She held her hand up and a cloud flew over head, blocking the sun from her in anyway possible. She quickly ran back to the tower and swung the door opened and hopped in.
"Oh god that was close..."
The cloud disappeared and she ventured to her room which was the 3rd floor up. Rayne Sat against the foot of the bed and closed her eyes.

-------------------- Astyrin watched the girl sit down on the floor and moved towards her, walking around her in slow circles. "I do not know where you have come from nor why you were brought back here instead of killed outright where you were found.." she started to explain. "But that does not matter. We are dying..every night your kind destroys my kin. So instead of letting you rot down below only to become some simple snack for what is left of my kind, I am going to take you from the humans and make you..one of us." She smiled and stopped in front of the girl, bending down slightly, she took hold of Ryssa's shoulders and easily lifted her back off the ground. With one hand, she brushed the girl's hair out of the way, leaving her neck exposed.
"I will warn you it is not nice.." she said softly into her ear. "But it will not last too long.." With that, she moved down Ryssa's neck and let her teeth sink into the girl's neck. She could feel blood slide down her throat and closed her eyes. The whole purpose of having fed earlier in the night had been so she would not kill the girl. She moved away after a moment but kept a firm hold on Ryssa. This was the first time she had been in her room while turning someone rather than having them restrained in a cell. She didn't want anything broken so she would not let the girl go until it was over.-------------------- Astyrin

"Make me one of... you..." Ryssa whispered trying to figure out what was going off she knew those where vampires, so this woman was... which mean she wanted to turn Ryssa into a vampire. her eyes flung open wide realizing this, though then self the man's fangs to her neck, she let out a cry of pain feeling tears run down her cheeks. Her hands grit at the closest thing to her, being the vampire woman, she could feeling her heart pounding in the somewhat shock. She breathed deeply clinging to the womans arms, tears ran down her cheeks, she didn't know what hurt most, the pain of the woman biting her or the pain she felt when the fangs where removed for a moment or two.

-------------------- She studied Ryssa for a few moments after she pulled away. The girl certainly didn't show any signs of a rampage that took over so many others. Astyrin led her over to the armchair before breaking the grip Ryssa had on her and gently pushing her down into the seat. She stayed in front of the chair and wiped the remaining blood from her face with her hand, licking what remained off of her fingers. There was no point to waste it.-------------------- Astyrin

Ryssa felt the woman somewhat leading her somewhere, she did not have a clue what was happening. She could feel her heart beating against her chest, her blue eyes closed tightly feeling pain to her neck, tears that streemed down her face slowly stopped, she stared forward watching the woman infront of her, silloetted by the fire. The woman just stared, exteamly silent, her heart slowly lost it's fast pace, moving slower and slower, her breathing lowered too as it seemed her eye where falling over er eyes.

-------------------- Astyrin was waiting for the girl to die. She could hear the heartbeat fading and see the life fading out of those bright blue eyes. When she was sure the human part was dead, she pushed a sleeve out of the way and bit into her own wrist. Leaning closer to the girl, Astryin opened her mouth and held her now bleeding wrist near it, letting the blood go into Ryssa's mouth.
After a moment, she moved away and walked to the desk, getting a small vial and letting her blood fill it before putting a cap on it and laying it on the desk. She put pressure on the wound to make the bleeding stop. Once it did, she cleaned herself up and turned back to the chair.-------------------- Astyrin
