Name: Morolas Thranduilion
Age: Around 3,000 (Appears to look around 30)
Race: Elf
Hair: Long and black
Eyes: Blue
Height: 5ft, 10in
Alignment: Neutral
Region: Greenwood the Great / Mirkwood / Mandos' Halls
Special Abilities: Trained warrior who is now endowed with the powers of Manwe. He can control all elements.
Weapons: Longsword and magic. Rarely uses a Bow with arrows.
Background: The original crowned prince of Mirkwood, Morolas was a kind and gentle Elf for his younger years. However, due to the growing influence of Galenion on the boy's studies and warrior trainning, the Elf grew closer to his uncle than his father.
Morolas grew to become a high ranking commander in the Mirkwood army. Soon, Nienna, the Queen, was pregnant and she gave birth to a second son? Legolas, fair of hair and eyes.
Legolas and Morolas were nearly inseperable. The youngest prince loved his elder brother dearly. However, when Legolas was still an Elfling? a terrible tragedy occurred in the kingdom.
Legede?s only surviving family from the trek from Greenwood to Mirkwood, was his sister, her husband, and her son. Lauralien?s husband, Findecano Seregon, had perished in the same battle which felled King Oropher. Now, she had her brother and son, Findarato, only. During this time, Galenion had begun tutoring Morolas in the arts of war, for there was no dispute to Thranduil, that his older brother was more wise in the ways of battle. Morolas was a fast learner, however, he also acquired Galenion?s love of revenge.
It had become clear that Thranduil favored his son Legolas, for the boy was much like him as he grew. Morolas was so very akin to Galenion, that sometimes the young Elf?s gazes frightened even his father.
Thus, it was no hard task to turn the young Morolas against Thranduil.
A mutiny within Mirkwood occurred. Half of the people believed Galenion should be their king. After all, he was the eldest son of Oropher. The other half however, remained loyal to Thranduil, including the armed forces of the kingdom.
Everything came to a boiling head however, when Findarato, who was one of Morolas? closest friends, overheard the crown prince and Galenion plotting to assassinate the king. Findarato was found out however, and murdered. In her grief, Lauralien wasted away, and died not long after her son.
Angry at what had occurred in his kingdom, not to mention the losses taken by his closest friend, Legede, King Thranduil had both Galenion, and Morolas, banished from all Elven havens forever.
Time passed, and Morolas was no longer heard from. Legolas had grieved his brother's banishment, but life went on.
After the War of the Ring however, while Legolas was vacationing in Minas Tirith, an arrow nearly killed the King of Gondor, Aragorn. The prince was expecting his sister, Legolia, as well as Legede. This arrow however, had a message on it.
A message from Morolas.
Legolia and Legede were Morolas' captives, and the former crown prince wanted his revenge upon, not only Legolas, but Thranduil as well. In an attempt to find out Morolas' location, Legolas himself was captured.
Morolas was cruel, and as time passed, he had Legolas and Legede fight each other to the death. The winner, would be able to spare Legolia's life, since Morolas truly did not want full revenge upon her. Legede sacrificed himself, becoming gravely wounded. However, because the captain was not killed, Morolas went back on his word and used his siblings as bait to ensnare the Elven king of Mirkwood.
However, Thranduil had come well prepared. Having gotten word from Aragorn, the elder Elf mustered the forced of Mirkwood and, with the aid of Gondor, came to the rescue of his children and closest friend.
During the ensuing battle, Legede was forced to murder Morolas, before the evil Elf could kill Thranduil.
Morolas' spirit went to Mandos' Halls, and there he underwent extensive trainning to become a chosen of Manwe as repentance for his sins in life.
Now, he has come to Middle-earth as Sario's new protector. He is bent on killing Galenion, but first must accomplish his mission from Manwe.

He looks a bit younger than you see in this picture. Jason Isaacs is MY Thranduil, and when I found this image, it became my Morolas.
