Hinata dropped into a ready stance. Whoever or whateve came through those doors wouldn't have an easy fight.

Tsunade's voice snapped the brothers out of their trance. Alphonse stepped back, using Edward as a sort of shield. The shorter of the pair spoke up after a second of hesitation "The Gate...it's what brought us here." he rubbed absently at his right arm, taking a half a step back at the same time as if to reassure himself that Al truly was still there.

He frowned suddenly, they hadn't summoned the damn thing, who would be so stupid to risk their lives to travel through that? "But we didn't call it this time...it shouldn't be here!"

Alphonse glanced to the ninjas getting ready to fight, "Don't get too close!" he warned, remembering all too vividly the night that had started them down their current path, "It can take you between worlds...trap you there..." The younger brother shivered. He had never really liked the idea of using the gate for their own purposes, but there hadn't been any other choice.

The doors cracked open and something and a big red eye peered at them. It focused on Hinata's eyes. Long black hands suddenly emerged from the Gate, heading strait for Hinata.

The instant those doors opened Ed moved. He brought his hands together in that oh-so-familiar clap, pressing them to the ground right after. A wall of stone rose as a barrier between the Gate and the ninjas. It wouldn't last long, though, just a minor distraction, really. "RUN! You can't fight it!" His voice holding the anger and regret of one who'd tried to challenge the Gate...and lost."Don't let those things touch you!"

While Edward did his alchemy, Alphonse ran to Hinata. The teen tugged at her sleeve "C'mon, it-it can take pieces of you..." Al's voice was unsteady and tinged with fear, both for the past and current situations.

"I don't like it, but you seem to know what this thing is," Hinata said, backing away."Shino, Kiba lets go!"

The hands knocked the kunai away and a few more apeared, blocking the ones heading for the eyes. Tsunade punched the ground with her inhuman strength, causing a massive crevice and upturn of earth that headed strait for the Gate. It seemed unaffected by it.

"...Come on Kiba. Let's move!..."Shino yelled as he ran after Hinata avoiding the shadow's hands.

"R-Right! Let's go Akamaru!Kiba rushed after his teammates. He was also avoiding the grasp of the hands.

"Arf! Arf!"Akamaru followed his partner.
