Catching the scent of deer he looked around hungrily, he hasn't had anything to eat for awhile since he never hunted by himself. He sniffed out a baby deer laying by the cave and quickly got up to hit, obviously the dog went out to hunt, he would thank her if she was here at the cave.

He stood up and stretched, looking outside of the cave into the timbers feeling full. He jumped outside and caught up to a sprint running over to the river to get some water before looking off for Kiva. As he reached the river to take a drink, he heard the voices again and cut his visit short, leaving off to find Kiva, Why do I keep hearing those voices... he thought.

Looking upstream the river, far enough to where he saw few mountain ranges, he remembered there was a waterfall down that way, but beyond that he had no idea. Glancing over toward the timbers he caught the scent of the dog that gave him shelter the night before. "Hmm." He pondered, going into deep thought of what he was to do next, since he couldn't go back to his pack he had not much left to do.

After closing his eyes, taking few breaths, he noticed Kiva's scent getting stronger, until he saw her. His gaze stood over towards Kiva, he wasn't sure about much, but somehow he trusted this dog, even though he has only known her for such a small amount of time, others would seem it crazy, but he had a good feeling about her.

He looked over at her, until he was put into a form of shock. "Wait how did you know about that?" He said, looking up at her for a moment, then back over at the river, he knew he had nothing else, it made sense to listen to a river, he thought with slight sarcasm. He smiled and turned back over to Kiva, "If I go, I don't think I'd make it alone." He said.

He listened to her, staring off into the ripples in the water, back to her again. Trying to stay focused he ignored the waters for a moment. "I don't know what lies over those mountains, I'm not sure if it's good, or bad. I don't have any other friends..." He said, knowing he was shun off by everyone. "...So you're the only one I feel I can ask." He murmured.

her ears flicked back to the waters edge "i can not go with you wolf, i'm destend to live the life of a loner" she nodded knowing this was true, she had been Running on five or six years alone now, she glanced back at him "and what makes you think that what awaits you over the great mountains is dangerious, every wolf that i'v seen go has made it back to theis lands, some now are in other packs but they all have made it back" she murmered

Arkasi didn't understand why the dog felt this way, he never believed anyone was destined to be a loner, but figuring he knew less of her than she did gave up the attempt to make her feel different about that. Regardless of her words, he still didn't feel like going alone, he hated to feel lonely, then again, he thought about the river.
