He grinned a bit, "Maybe." He said by way of agreeing to her first comment, then tilted his head at Shadda and nodded again, "I too am from around here. Saiko and I grew up together."

"I'm from here two." She sounded slightly sad. "I want to met someone not from here though. Wouldn't that be the greatist? They would have all these neat stories!"

He gave a small laugh, "We all have our own neat stories, Shadda. It's just the matter of finding someone willing to tell them." Albrecht grinned a bit, "Even if we come from here. It can still be just as exciting." Albrecht knew because he and Saiko went through an adventure of their own when they were young.

Saiko smirked, 'I think the best story was the treasure hunt and the shark attack ... now that was an eventful day, was it not?' She giggled, fiddling with her necklace which her and Albrecht had found during their treasure hunt, 'We'd love to tell you. Albrecht, would you like to start?'

Albrecht gave a small chuckle, "Sure. You see, Shadda there was or is this cavern me and Saiko used to go to when we were young. First time we went there was this star charm we got broken in half. Saiko has half and I do too." He held up his own half which dangled on a chain. "Anyways, we figured since the first time was okay we decided to explore more just to see what else we can find..After all no one said we couldn't at the time."

"Ooo its so shinny! I want to go treasure hunting now." Shadda replied looking at the necklace. "How did the shark find you?"

Albrecht gave a small shrug, "I can't say for sure. Other than perhaps it smelt our scent or heard us or something and it decided right then it wanted a little pearlaice snack." He smiled a bit wryly, "Another thing we were not aware of is that the place was off limits...Probably for the very reason that tried to make us a snack."

Saiko smirked, continuing, 'So there we were, swimming as if nothing was wrong. When suddenly, a giant shadow overwhelmed us. Looking behind is, we saw a shark!' She paused and couldn't help but give an evil looking smirk. She loved telling stories, 'I had been feeling faint before this, and seeing the shark, I could already barely move. So, Albrecht and I rushed inside (As best as I could move.) and I layed down on the ground, unable to see clearly and feeling terribly sick.' The smirk had danced off her face and was replaced with a frown at this point. But it quickly changed into a smile when she continued once more, 'Thankfully the shark got stuck in the entrance.' She glanced at Albrecht. The next part would be when he threw rocks at the shark to try to get it to leave, and Sage (Saiko's older brother.) arrived.

"OOoh!" Shadda grinned her black tail flowing up as rested her face on it eyes wide in wonder and glee. The younger Mer loving a good yawn. "Then what happened?"

Albrecht laughed a bit, "Apparently Saiko's brother worked at the tail-end while I threw stuff at the shark. I was determined to protect Saiko and our friend. Saiko had passed out and thus was defenseless. I had to think quick in case the shark happened to shrink somehow." He chuckled rubbing the back of his neck. "How young and silly I was back then."

Saiko giggled, 'Young and silly is right, but I loved every little thing about you.' She brushed her lips against his gently, and looked at Shadda, 'Interesting story, nay?' She giggled.

Shadda nodded eyes bright. "Yes but what happened next did the shark go away and wait for you?" She asked grinning and giggled slightly at the to kissed.

Saiko shrugged. Her memory was blank from that moment on, 'You'll have to ask Albrecht ... I was unconscience.' She mumbled the last part. The memory still frightened her ... the memory of everything going black ... the memory of not being able to remember anything that happened from that point on until she had awoke a week later.
Actually ... she had awoken once during that period. Albrecht was over her, crying and hugging her, telling her he was sorry he couldn't protect her any better. She remembered hugging him and telling him not to cry ... he was her hero and that ... she had meant.

Albrecht smiled a bit at Saiko and kissed her back lightly before replying to Shadda, "My brother and Sage I think took care of the shark after that...Afterwards I got scolded by the Captain. Told us to never go back there and restricted me to city and such if I remember right." He laughed lightly and shrugged.
"I think the Sharks are still sore at us for what happened.." He went serious and quiet for a moment.
