Reeve wasn't scared of her in any way, no.. that was not it at all. The handsome blond was just shocked at the fact that he just suddenly kissed her on the lips. Speaking of that.. he licked his lips for a brief moment. Ahh, her taste.. it was all over his mouth by now. He shivered at the taste even..

"... My emotions took the best of me. I.. well.. I don't know what came over me. It was like.. my body and mind were moving on its own it seems." He said shamelessly, his hand still held tightly against hers.

"I didn't mean to hurt you nor scare you in any way, miss Adella.." He added, not wanting to know or say after that. But really.. in secret, he liked the kiss. However, it was so sudden, so out of nowhere.. so it cannot be helped that the human and the elf were to be shocked. It was a reaction that would be expected..

Reeve looked away from the elf for a brief moment.. everything felt so awkward now. What were he to do in these situation that he unfortunately got himself into. He sighed a long sigh.. feeling a bit stressed of how this escalated.

He blushed tremendously, his body continuing to grow warm from the nervousness that was surging through his veins. Just.. what were these odd feelings that was inside not only his heart but his very soul as well?

"I know it came out of nowhere.." He said quietly, before slowly once more, his sky blue eyes looking upon the elf. If she were to notice, it had a hint of sadness onto them.. as if he was asking for forgiveness towards the elf.

He licked his lips carefully.. her taste was still there. He wasn't sure if he liked the kiss or not.. but part of him said that he did like it, not like it. All these newfound emotions continuously made Reeve confused. He continued to stare at her cautiously.. just what was the elf thinking right now?

Not only his cheeks would turn beet red, but his whole face would turn red.. oh dear, Reeve was so nervous now. Now he's gone and hurt her.. no he wasn't intending that at all. He wasn't sad at the kiss no.. he was sad that, well.. let's just say that Reeve is a shy person. He.. couldn't come to it and admit that he liked the kiss very much.

He gulped down all the nervousness down his throat and tried to feel confident about himself.. he looked straight into her eyes. "No.. it's that I'm sad or anything. I'm well.. I'm just too shy to.." He paused, gulping once more. "... To admit that I liked it. I.. really did.. liked it. The.. kiss and everything." He let out a huge breath of relief.. the man actually got the courage to let it all out.

"... I liked it very much. Sorry if I.. delayed the inevitable and not being able to speak up in time." One final sigh, as his eyes would just continue to stare into hers.

Indeed.. this situation has gone over the edge by now. Reeve only wanted to discover and decipher the secrets of the Lake of Origin. And he got all the information that he needed.. so why was he still sticking around?

He sighed heavily.. he could still feel the softness of those lips of her. Though, strange as these new feelings were.. he had to recompose himself. He shook his head a few times, before looking back at her with a half-serious face.

"... Well.. let's just say that I don't often get myself into these kind of situations. I've been around to many exotic places, met very strange individuals of the like. Though.. I'm not really one that's really, you know.." He rolls his eyes, sighing again. "... To be honest, I don't really converse with women that often, truth be told..." He coughed a bit, looking the other way.

"B-But that being said, I think I should get going now! Ehehe.." He stuttered.. his nervousness was starting to boil up inside of him.. he wanted to get away. Not because he hated nor liked Adella.. he was simply just scared at the moment. Reeve would start to slither his way out..

Reeve felt a soft hand that was preventing him from leaving. His whole body would shiver a bit.. though, he raised a brow at her. She was being a flirty again.. was Adella a two-faced person, perhaps? It seems like she shifts from one personality to another.. how strange..

"... Well, I already know enough about the lake. But you've caught my interest once more, when you said there are more things to know about this lake." He slowly turned around, his face showing a great show of curiosity.

"And what do you mean of what path I should follow..?" He blinked in confusion.. "... Don't tell me there's a catch, in order for me to get more information..?" He asked with a questioning look.. Adella was mysterious really.. a beautiful mystery, that is. Reeve would eye at her.. did she desire something else from the explorer as well?

Reeve sighed a bit.. he knew very well that he won't be able to know anymore information, if he were to leave. And due to his nature to know everything as much as he can until there was no info left to absorb.. he was quite hellbent to know.

"... Alright, well, I'll stay for a bit. For the sake of knowing this place, really.. and a Goddess, you say..?" He seemed a little intrigued at hearing that, grinning. "... Hmm, perhaps I will stay a little longer.."

However, he still was a little cautious of the elf.. she was very cunning indeed. It will take for him to fully trust her.. though, some part of him thought she wouldn't do anything.. out of the blue. And well, just suddenly kissing her defined what out of the blue really is.
