((I'm thinking of making a new character in addition to Lucy. I can't really reply to any of your posts, since you're not around me. That's not a complaint obviously. But, it seems like ya'll have a pretty sweet band goin' on.))

Artemas watched the woman sit up, and stare off through the ground. Whatever was going through her mind was unimportant. She appeared to be either in shock, or suffering from the massive amount of adrenaline in her system causing her to get tunnel vision. More irrelevant information. They had to move, and she was her when they arrived. If she knew anything, he wanted to know. Now.
He lowered his rifle to his side, leaned forward at the waist, curled his free arm under her right shoulder and lifted her to standing. He pressed the butt of Umbro to her chin, tilting her head up to the point that she was looking at his lens concealed eyes, and spoke directly to her in a tone that was abrasive enough to make her return to reality and authoritative enough to demand an answer.
"How long have you been here."

((I know, silly. I wasn't referring to you. I meant everyone else. I'd responded to your last post.))
Lucy's mind was confused. Along with all the fear that had pumped through her veins with the zombie, she was feeling both disgusted and reassured by the brash actions of the young man before her. She did not like the condescending way he was holding her up. A look of disgust rippled across her face as she looked up and the man's emotionless one. She felt her own arms wanting to pull away from the man, her jaw aching to tell him off. But she knew better. As uncharismatic as he was, this man did save her life. The best she could do to satisfy her emotions was to wrench her chin away from the butt of his weapon. "Not more than a few hours," she said. She didn't have the energy to resist his other arm, however, so she remained in his grasp.

Bradley and a now calmer Wesley exited the trailer. Wesley was straddled across his fathers chest, hanging on tight while his dad used one arm to make sure his son didn't fall. The other hand stayed rigid at his side, ready to pick up his pistol if needed. Smith, their Impromptu leaders, seemed to be organizing a search of the place. The new guy, however, seemed to be interrogating another survivor who was here.
Bradley walked up to smith. "I can search a floor, if I can leave Wesley here safe." He said. Wesley mumbled something in his dad's ear, about, "Don't want you to leave me again." Bradley took his rigid hand and used it to push Wesley's head close against his, to whisper words of comfort to the kid. Wesley seemed to oblige, because he left his head there on Bradley's shoulder.
(((OoC: I changed Westley's name to Wesley cause the silent 'T' was starting to bug me.)))

Turning to look out the window Jessica heard the guy with the child talking about leaving his son some place safe while he went inside to help check the floors of the building out. Thinking it over Jessica opened the driver side door and pushed it out. “Why not let him lay down inside the sleeper cab of the semi. After it’s pretty well safe and Neon is here so she can keep an eye on you’re son and the other guy there could keep watch out front which would free you and me to help in checking out the floors or atleast barricading them off.”
She didn’t mind help after all it was better then remaining here in the semi staring into the darkness besides she needed to move around some maybe this place has a bar and she could help herself to something to drink.

(((OoC: It's the attack of the Run-On Sentences!)))
Bradley nodded to Jessica's statement. What he wouldn't give to get some sleep himself. He didn't necessarily need it at the moment, since he was trained to go a couple days without it, but it was still nice. Taking Wesley back inside the Trailer, he laid him o a bed and put a blanket over him. Wesley almost immediately curled up into a ball and fell asleep again.
Bradley then stepped outside the trailer, and into the building gun drawn. As he passed Smith he said, "I'll head straight to the third floor, you guys can get one and two." He then proceeded to find the stairs and head up them. (((More Later)))

Smith gave a sigh "Well, lock things up and lets get started, we don't have all night to lock up..." He left the door open as he turned on heel and moved back inside, heading back towards the area of the young woman and Artemas. He would stay a little closer to that guy, he seemed to have a decent bit of military background, or something like it. This would make him the easiest to respond to, and wouldn't be screwed up by most situations, someone that could have his back, or at least look like he did.
Smith gave a slight sigh at the last thought, he would hunt the guy down if he became infected like that.

Seeing that Bradley was going to take the offer Jessica turned in the driver seat and moved into the back part of the large semi leaving the driver side door open for Bradley to climb inside so to lay Wesley down. Once in the back of the cab Jessica took off her running shoes and put on her knee high boots, which gave better protection around her legs and feet. Next, she pulled the belt with the holsters for her beretta’s on which she quickly holstered before grabbing her backpack and shotgun.
Now ready Jessica climbed down from the semi and would shut the door behind her once Bradley had came out that is leaving only Neon and Wesley inside with Reese outside keeping watch.
Heading in after the others Jessica slipped the strap for the shotgun over her shoulder so that the weapon would rest against her back and drew the beretta that sported the small flashlight, which was quickly cut on now pushing back the darkness.
Catching a glimpse of Smith as he was heading up the stairs to the next floor Jessica recalled the Bradley had said he would go on to the third so she would take the first floor, which she didn’t like the idea of clearing the place on her own but what could she do?
So with a shrug and a couple of words spoken in Spanish she moved the beam of light over the room casting long shadows from the objects that filled the area. It seemed safe here or at least, what she could tell and then there was the fact that there was restaurant on her left, which meant a chance at food. However after trying the large double doors which didn’t open most likely having been locked she would have to find another way in so she turned back and starting towards the back of the lobby towards what she believed to the where the offices would be found.

Stepping around the front desk Jessica stopped looking around her it was just like in the movies dried blood splashed across the floors and walls with all number of objects thrown about. Luckily, there was no sign of any bodies moving or not it made her feel alittle better not seeing anything other then none moving objects. Taking a step over to where a board hung on the wall Jessica looked over the small key tags that hung there most of the keys where gone but here was at least three still there so she took the three from the board stuffing them into her backpack before heading deeper into the back of the lobby.
To her right was a door with a plate that read office the name of the person that worked out of the office was unreadable do to begin all but broken from what looked to have been a fight. “Well better start here I guess.” Leaning close to the door Jessica placed her ear to the door and listened. She thought she heard rustling coming from the other side of the door but it was so quick that she was not sure but she had to be sure. Taking a deep breath Jessica let it out slowly and tried the doorknob, which turned and with a click started to open before coming to a halt as it bumped into something heavy. The door was not going to be opened at this rate least not with out some help so she pulled the door closed.
Lowering the berretta Jessica drew the knife from its sheath on her hip and used the tip to carve a large X into the door before returning the knife to its sheath and raising the berretta as she started towards the back once more ignoring the elevator as the power was down it would be pointless to check it so she kept going checking both bathrooms as well as the small broom closet nothing. Three doors remained now another office, swinging double doors and one that lead towards the back. Once again, she checked the office this time the door did open and she found nothing on the other side the room was void of life. Therefore, she closed the door cut a check mark into the door and moved onto the next door.
