It's been months, so I am going to post a new list. I spend most of my free time these days learning about music the best I can. I really want to have a radio show again (even if it is only on the internet).

Anyway, List:
1. Total ******** Destruction - ******** awesome thrash. Their demo is free on their site, and the recording quality is low but its still pretty great. You can find it here: the End - Super mathey metaley mathcore.
3. Athiest - Awesome technical metal from FLORIDA. They manage to take things to an incrediable technical level without getting lost in 7 minute solos. Their last album, Elements, is really funny.
4. Dead Prez - Super tough gangster rap with an overwhelming revolutionary element. I want to learn about more music like this. People should recomend me more stuff like this.
5. Boredoms - In pirticular, new Boredoms. I was always a fan of their early stuff (a**l BY a**l and Soul Discharge 99), but their new stuff, it's ******** amazing. Four drummers making some of the most beautiful sprawling pop I have ever heard.
6. Merzbow - Defenatly not for everybody. Defenatly don't buy his albums before you listen. Mostly loud static sounds, hissing and poping. Really good noise experements. Super interesting stuff. this is one guy, a Japanese noise artist who has been doing this since the early 70s / late 60s. A lot of this stuff is real cool, but I would never put it on a mixtape.
7. Manowar - Hilarious fun metal that you can scream along with and get drunk with your friends while listening to. I finally downloaded some myself. Super cheese, super rad.
8. Teenage Jesus and the Jerks - Awesome No Wave. No Wave is a pretty cool genre. It's a responce to New Wave, and an attempt to blend discorse and melody. Check out the No New York comp. It's produced by Brian Eno, who produced Devo and was in Roxy Music.
9. Zombie Apoclypse - Former members of Shai Hulud make up this HxC super group. Amazing stuff that you need to hear. Pick up "This Day Is A Spark Of Life" if you ever get a chance. you won't regret it.
10. Municipal Waste - Big thanks to MASON for turning me on to these guys. Awesome blend of metal / hardcore. Super fun, really tight music.

i was at my friends radio show the other day and came across an athiest cd, looked like it would be wicked cheesy metal that i needed to put on my computer next time i go in.

i have also been listening to a lot of manowar lately while getting drunk with my friends listening to other really fast cheesy metal songs.
